  1. Cultures of Arvahn
  2.
  3. The White World Wastes:
  4. The religious and spiritual culture of the humans of the Wastes, the White Men (referred to as 'Wasters' by outsiders), is primarily focused on ancestor worship. The idea being that those who achieve particularly amazing, heroic, or kind feats ascend to a godhood referred to as 'Ur'. The first of the 'Ur' is believed to be the first of the White Men, a human who led his people from Caelden when their people were treated as savages and barbarians and gave them a new home. His name has been forgotten by the pages of history as this occured over a thousand years ago, however he is refered to by his people as the Urfartha which roughly translates to 'God Father'.
  5. Other prominent Ur exist in the White Men's history, Bjorn the Unbroken the Ur who represents constitution and an unbreakable spirit, Falka Greywalk she who conquered Urvolf the God of Wolves, and Sigfrid the Songstress of War whose songs and still hummed by every warrior worth his salt in the Wastes. It is the goal of every member of the White Men to ascend to the ranks of the Ur and watch over their kin both living and dead.
  6. The clans of the White World are many and varied, however five clans are considered to be the 'rulers' of the Wastes, those that were founded by the Sons of the Urfartha, each of them chose the symbol of one of the mighty beasts of the North as their symbol.
  7. The language of the White Men is a dialect of the old tongue of Caeden, made into it's own language by over a thousand years of culture and alteration. When outsiders first landed on the shores of the wastes they spoke the new tongue of Caelden. It was then that this language began to become known to the North, and as trade and commerce began between the rest of Arvahn and the Wastes it became common for adults to learn the tongue so they might communicate with the outsiders who would visit in search of pelts and wildlife native to the great white expanse.
