  1. 1.
  2. Could you explain how did you create NB and did you generally aim high from the start?
  3. blaZed and I were originally in NoV. We were always doing our own thing in NoV and eventually got bored of their server and started playing PEN1 almost 24-7. Since we didn't play on their server and generally didn't get along with many of them, we decided to make NB and recruit the people we had been playing with in PEN1. At the time there wasn't any competitive scene and it wasn't until [MOB]Zmoney started getting the MOB a/d script going that we started playing proper matches against other clans. There were always rivalries between clans in servers but actual matches didn't come until later from what I remember.
  4. 2.
  5. The most popular clan wars script is developed by you. How did you start scripting A/D? What do you think about people that made
  6. their own A/D scripts based on yours?
  7.
  8. NB's A/D script was originally made by Boylett who was in NB at the time. I didn't know how to script anything back then so I asked Boylett to make it because I didn't want MOB's A/D script to become the standard. There were a few things I didn't like about it and I had a some of my own ideas that I wanted to see implemented. I slowly started editing the source of A/D Rumble after Boylett left and became good enough to start implementing my ideas. By the time I made WorldCup A/D it was pretty much all rewritten. I didn't mind people modding my script to add things they wanted; that was why I released the source. It did bother me a bit when certain people used it and claimed they coded everything from scratch :P

  11. What servers were the most challenging back in the days?
  12. That always depended on how many teammates you had. GTAT I suppose. LVP was difficult at times when we were too far outnumbered.
  13.
  14. 4.
  15. What do you think of LVP and Partyserver as the generally most popular servers?
  16. They were both on the old official list and as a result became very popular. Plus they had unique features that kept people interested.

  18. 5.
  19. Why did NB decide to retire from SAMP? How was the community in 2009 different from 2006?
  20. After 3-4 years of playing the same game it just wasn't fun like it once was. A lot of clans were quitting and the whole deathmatch scene was losing players.
  21.
  22. 6.
  23. What are your thoughts about b64 as a samp clan back in the days?
  24. I didn't know b64 until later in my sa-mp days so I don't really know what to say.
  25.
  26. 7.
  27. The best 3 clans you have fought in a clan war? Also, what was your hardest match?
  28. It's been so long. One of the hardest ones was the loss we had against HoT. We pretty much all played with c-bug so it was difficult playing without it. I also recall a match against NoV in 0.1 where they defended a house/hill in SF twice where we lost both rounds. Not many of our matches were as easy as people may think and we certainly had a few close ones. It's been too long for me to remember in great detail.

  30. 8.
  31. Your clan had among the biggest impacts on the samp community so far. Do you like the fact that your name is still mentioned after
  32. all those years?
  33. Sure :) I had a lot of fun and grew a lot during my time playing sa-mp.
  34.
  35. 9.
  36. Are there some clans that you wanted to fight but didn't?
  37. [WAR] was one clan we never got to fight. [HA] too. I also think it would've been interesting if had the chance to fight some of the newer clans that might've just been forming as we were leaving.

  41. Are you planning to return to SAMP or another GTA at the future?
  42. Sa-mp, no. If GTA5 is anything like GTA4 then we won't play that either. There were too many problems with that game and the multiplayer was too limited. GTA just isn't made for competition. APB was the closest thing to a competative GTA game and that was poorly executed. If there's another GTA capable of supporting the type of competitive play that we were used to in sa-mp then we'll surely play it.
