  1. Welp here it goes
  2. ----------Part 1--------------
  3. >"Loka, this is a bad idea."
  4. >A shy, petite dragon-esque person was bargening with her shorter furry, green stripped, horned friend
  5. >"C'mon Jannette, when's the last time we got to have fun at this boring place?"
  6. >"It wouldn't be so bad if you join a sorority or a club..."
  7. >"And become one of those daft PC bimbos? I'll pass. Plus they don't have what the human world has. Alc-o-hol."
  8. >It's true, the monster world doesn't have alcohol
  9. >It did, but they pulled a worldwide prohibition and banned all alcohol.
  10. >The big scare companies didn't want the workers getting drunk on the job and-for a lack of better terms-eat the kids
  11. >Doesn't mean there's no such thing as bootlegging
  12. >Which the illegal use of doors AND smuggling means getting a 20 oz bottle of whatever is pricy
  13. >luckly student loans exists
  14. >Loka and Jannette arrived at a local bootlegger's base of operation
  15. >It's an old borded up hotel
  16. >the two arrive at the door and are greeted by a bouncer
  17. >he's a huge monster, towering over the two girls by 3-4 meters
  18. >"Hey Rodger, how's it hang'n?" Loka said to the behemoth of a monster
  19. >"What's the password?"
  20. >without saying anything Loka hands the bouncer a wad of bills totaling up to 300 dollars in monster currency
  21. >The bouncer steps aside with a grunt, allowing Loka and Jannette to enter
  22. >The inside is lavish and decorated, despite what the outside says
  23. >The main loft is full of tables and the counter has been refurbished into a bar
  24. >Doors are set up on the sides of the counter with monsters going in and out carrying an assortment of cases containing, you guessed it alcohol.
  25. >But it's only the cheap stuff
  26. >it's harder to get the better brands because of the risks involved
  27. >luckly it's holloween
  28. >Loka and Jannette would blend in perfectly
  29. >kinda
  30. >it would be hard to hide their more, monsterous feature
  31. >especially Jannette's fire hiccups
  32. >Monsters fill up the tables around the place
  33. >You got monsters smaller that a basket ball and monsters to big to stand up straight
  34. >there's also CDA present in the bar, enjoying the their alcoholic commodity in the luxurious privacy of this hotel
  35. >Loka and Jannette approach the bar
  36. >The bartender -a red lizard like creature with 4 eyes and twisted horns- stares down the two girls
  37. >"Whatchu want ladies?" The raspy tone rang in their ears
  38. >"Trip for two my man." Loka replied
  39. >"Where to?"
  40. >"Boston."
  41. >"1000 dollars."
  42. >Loka goes wide eyes at the amount she was told
  43. >"Shit, 1000 dollars? Why?"
  44. >"It's halloween. scarers are out and about. gotta pay the boys in yellow, keep them quiet. Pay for utilities."
  45. >"Whatever," Loka hands the bartender 1000 dollars
  46. >The bartender looks at giant of monster and nods
  47. >the giant places a door in a frame amd the frame closes on the parameter of the door
  48. >a red light glows signifing a connection to the human world
  49. >"Enjoy yourselves ladies."
  50. >Loka and Jannette make way to the door
  51. >Jannette stays close behind her friend
  52.
  53. >Loka and Jennette step through the door
  54. >They enter a visually similar loft from the monster world
  55. >This time however there is a mixture of humans and monsters everywhere
  56. >the place is also crawling with CDA bootleggers, or more appropriately in this case HDA.
  57.
  58. >normally monsters aren't allowed to roam the streets of the human world during halloween
  59. >However the bootleggers also help monsters with blending into human society during nights like this
  60. >because where's the fun in staying in designated shitholes where there's no people to scare?
  61. >Loka and Jennette start heading towards a checkpoint near the entrance
  62. >They exchange the remaining monster cash that they have for human currency
  63. >Loka can't believe 4200 dollars in monster currency equals up to only 700 in human currency
  64. >Before the two leave they sign some wavers stating that HDA isn't responsible for any of their actions here and that the two monsters are considered 'rogue' when in the streets
  65. >With that out of the way Loka hurries out of the hotel dragging her dragon friend with her
  66.
  67. >Loka has a good amount of knowledge about Boston and the streets, able to point out monster friendly establishments amongst the normal human ones
  68. >Jennette as no knowledge about any of this as she's almost awestruck by how much her friend knows
  69. >The pair make their way to good ol Hanover Street
  70. >Loka directs her friend and herself to a bar that Loka frequents
  71. >The bar appears to be closed but Loka knows better
  72. >they go towards the back and approach a door
  73. >a small window slides open, revealing a set of 5 eyes
  74. >The eyes lock on to Loka and Jennette
  75. >the window closes and the door swings open
  76. >a scorpion like beast opens the door and lets the two girls in
  77. >Loka walks through with Jennette close behind
  78. >They open another door and are greeted by the sound of laughter and good times
  79.
  80. >One wouldn't think that a 4'11" furry lizard thing would be able to hold her alcohol
  81. >at least that's what Jennette thought before Loka started drinking down whole bottles of bourbon, scotch, and whiskey
  82. >Jennette has a small glass of cider for herself
  83. >Jennette sets her drink down and heads towards the bathroom while Loka practically drowns herself in alcohol
  84.
  85. >'It's okay Jennette, it's only for tonight. Once it's 12 am I'm taking Loka back home' Jennette thought to herself
  86. >She turned on the sink and splashed some water on her face and wet her golden hair down
  87. >The dragon monster returns to bar and reaches for her drink
  88. >She looks around for Loka but couldn't see her
  89. >Did she leave? Did she go into the bathroom
  90. >Jennette would have seen her
  91. >She took a drink of cider to calm her nerves
  92. >Only after she took a drink did she realize the taste of something other than the alcohol and apple flavor in the drink
  93. >it was faint but still noticeable
  94. >The taste of some sort of sleeper drug that has been mixed into her drink
  95. >The monster bolts to the door as quickly as possible, knowing what will happen she stays inside
  96. >Jennette makes it outside
  97. >She's already starting to feel dizzy
  98. >She feels like she's about to black out
  99. >Just before then she sees Loka's unconscious body being stuffed into a car
  100. >The people who have Loka leave without noticing her friend
  101. >Jennette tries to go after them only to finally feel the full extent of the drug
  102. >The monster blacks out as the car with her best friend in it drives off
  103.
  104. >Jennette wakes up
  105. >her head is pounding
  106. >It feels like her teeth are gonna explode
  107. >Sunlight hits her face
  108. >She closes her eyes from the harsh sunlight
  109. >She doesn't know where she is
  110. >What she does know is the soft linen she's on and the large, loose fitting shirt covering her
  111. >Jennette slowly gets up, trying not to fall over
  112. >She opens her eyes a little
  113. >The room is white with a light tan carpet
  114. > a sliding closet occupies one of the walls and the bed she was on sits opposite to that
  115. >A nightstand sits next to the bed
  116. >on it there's a lamp, a few nick-knacks and a picture
  117. >The picture shows two happy looking human men holding up a fish
  118. >Was Jennette taken by one of these men?
  119. >Just then she felt something grab her shoulder
  120. >She screams and a plume of fire escapes her mouth
  121. >"HOLY SHIT!"
  122. >It was a human female
  123. >Clearly shocked by the display of fire the Jennette caused
  124. >Jennette starts to slowly back away from the human
  125. >"S-st-s-stay b-b-back! I m-mean it!" Jennette ordered to the human
  126. >The human backs away slowly, not wanting to get herself or her stuff burned
  127. >"Easy there, I'm not gonna hurt you" she reassured Jennette
  128. >This didn't change Jennette's current state
  129. >"W-who are you!"
  130. >"My name is Anon. I found you blacked out in the park. You're at my aprartment, okay? Just sit down and I'll give you something to eat."
  131. >Jennette was calmed by the soft voice
  132. >She sat down on the bed again
  133. >Anon told her to stay there while she made breakfast
