  1. Steve.The first job I had was with a company in the DC Metro area that was the first of its kind to offer opcital scanning, software conversion, and data entry (this was in the 80s). We had to diversify as a business to meet customer needs. If we didn't have a software program, we had to buy it and learn how to use it and there was no Google to ask how to do it back then. You had no choice but to learn outside the box and learn it on your own unless you wanted to shell out $5000 or more to be taught how to use WordStar or Lotus 1-2-3 or Borland C.Thank you for reminding me of that. Everyone should heed Steve's words on this.
