- The events and battles of the Galactic Republic's last major war are recounted.
- Immediately after the events of <a href=">Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002), the Clone Wars continue. The Separatists launch masses of Battle Droids while the Republic has an entire arsenal of Clone Troopers to blow them away. Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice Anakin Skywalker are also participating in the fights against Count Dooku and his defiant separatists. Jedi Masters Yoda and Mace Windu, take part in the battle as well. While down on Coruscant, Padmé Amidala, Chancellor Palpatine, C-3PO and R2-D2 hope nothing but good for our heroes. Will the Republic emerge triumphant? Will Dooku and his separatists be brought to their knees? And will Anakin truly bring balance to the Force, or will he bring absolutely tyranny?
- Honestly the only reason this gets only a 9/10 is for wiggle room. I feel like this is best when watched as a movie and the story is amazingly crafted. The villains are the main forces behind the story, driving it forward by sending bad-ass villains out and the villains really are great. In general the action is fantastic having fluid movement and satisfying sounds. In many ways it is like Samurai Jack having many quiet moments, little dialogue and lots of visual storytelling. The arcs are well set up with great cliffhangers and it never becomes boring, ensuing your continued attention. The characters don't speak much but they do develop and interact realistically. Really my only issue with the story is that it's stuck within the titular Clone Wars, preventing it from having a "complete" ending though that's not to say it isn't satisfying. There isn't much more to say honestly. Excellent animation, compelling characters, well told story, AMAZING villains and great music and sound effects. If you haven't watched this yet trust me it's worth it. If you have then well... watch it again? It's that good.
- Star Wars: Clone Wars the animated series is an awesome series! The animation is unbelievably clear. The voices are excellent for the characters and the characters are as cool as they are in the films! I am so amazed by all of the authentic sound effects and action this series has! The music is awesome and fits the cartoon greatly. The stories in the cartoons are good. All of the characters have great personalities like their counterparts do in the motion pictures. Asajj Ventress is a beautiful character and Durge is neat! Its really cool to see characters from the SW Expanded Universe in animated form especially the characters that have limited screen time in the pictures. It so interesting and fun to watch. I received the Volume 1 DVD as gift and I am so thankful that I did! If you are able to watch this on television do so because this is one of the greatest animated shows of all time in My opinion so i f you want to see action including space battles and epic light saber fights that are arguably more epic than the ones seen in the films and love Star Wars then I strongly recommend that you head over to Amazon.com and purchase Star Wars: Clone Wars Volume 1 today!
- The series is "Legends", so no, as it doesn't belong the body of <a href="/company/co0071326/">Lucasflim</a>-owned fictional work designated as canon by the Lucasfilm Story Group. (Prior to the change in designation, the particular work was "continuity canon" which was regarded as less canon than the Lucasfilm-made, live-action, ordinal Star Wars films but canon nonetheless.) However, the series has not been retconned, so there hasn't been a change in continuity with other Lucasfilm "Star Wars" works, whether canon or "Legends". a5c7b9f00b
