A fucking long essay

Alright here’s what you’ve been desperate to know.

I’m gonna tell this from my side of the story.
Hope, or Beatrice, or Bea, or Bella. Whoever you are, you mean nothing to me now. At the very beginning of the year, I met a girl over a phone call. She was from England, and she claimed she had blue eyes, blonde hair, and was only 5”3.
We all found out later on that this turned out to be a complete stranger from New York. An Instagram model.
The girl I met over the phone had a bubbly personality and was incredibly hyper all the time. I told that girl that we would be best friends, for a long time. That only lasted around 5 months before I discovered she had been keeping a horrible secret from me.

Over the months, Taig had cheated on me with her. He tried to get her to sext him, not that she would anyway since the photos she claimed to be turned out to be another girl, Bella Rose. Once Taig was out of the picture, Hope had been telling everyone about how he cheated on me (Indi). She told everyone how she was the one who he sexted, without asking me if she was comfortable with other people finding out. It was nobody else’s business. She also did it as if it were in a bragging way. “Yeahhh oh my god, he said he wanted to fuck me hahaha!!”. That’s certainly something to be proud of, Hope!

Hope was oblivious to my feelings. She was completely two faced and it turns out she spoke very differently of me behind my back. “Can’t Indi take a joke?” “Yeah she isn’t really funny to me”. Not only this, but she also didn’t care that she started saying words that offended me, like “cunt” or “gay”, and expected me to laugh at that. It’s okay though, she had it all planned out. She played the “I miss you” card many times after bitching about people. For example: She called Marshall boring behind his back, then nearly cried over call saying how much she missed him! Yet she constantly talked about how she wasn’t fond of him.
“OH MARSHALLLLL I MISSED YOUUUU!”.
Same thing with Roan. She talked soooo much shit about him, even hated him for a while, and then pretended to miss him all over again when things started going downhill.

“Hope” is a girl who whines and cries and over exaggerates feelings. The amount of times I was left sleep deprived because she was crying pathetically over a boy, was unimaginable. Right before going to sleep many times, she would ask me to call her so she had someone’s shoulder to cry on. Yet now, she tells everyone that nobody cares about her. I cared about her. She was supposed to be my best friend for five months. All along, she was living a big fat lie and couldn’t handle revealing the real her. Now, she’s right. Nobody cares about her.

She also had zero personality which would explain a lot of things. She actually copied many things I did or said, one thing in particular:
She would text Jackson (her lovely boyfriend) things that I WOULD SAY in call.
I said to her one time, something very specific:
“Once I fall in love with the personality, everything else becomes really cute / beautiful to me”.
Gee, I wonder where you got that from Hope? Yeah, I know it’s fucking cheesy but the fact that this girl went to the extent of copying things I would say is just hilarious.

She also had everything planned out. Things slowly pieced together by the end of it, we all realised how obvious it was in the end that Hope was a catfish.

1. She never posted real-time photos of her on Snapchat.
2. She showed me a photo of her cousin, and he looked nothing like Bella Rose (who at the time, was Hope to us). He had no resemblance to a blonde girl with blue eyes.
3. She constantly told us how she wanted to be named Bella. We soon found out that this actually was an unhealthy obsession with an Instagram model.
4. Her voice sounded nothing like what was expected of her appearance. Everyone noticed this. She sounded completely different to what everyone would expect was coming from Hope’s body. (Let’s just say, her voice was ugly and nobody was expecting a beautiful model from that voice).
5. “Hope” is a perfect catfish name. I mean come on, who the fuck names their child Hope??

This girl is a catfish, and she never bothered to tell me (her best friend for 5 months). She never intended to meet me either, otherwise she would’ve told me first. She continuously lied and sugarcoated everything, having pathetic reasons as to why we wouldn’t meet up, or why she wouldn’t send a real-time photo of herself to me (it was because she was “too tired, I’m so sorry ind!” Or “I’m going overseas in that month!”).

She knew exactly what she was doing, even bothered flipping camera perspectives to make the New York model’s steering wheel switch to the other side of the car (making it appear to be in england). When I exchanged precious childhood photos with her, I asked some in return. Not even in that moment did she think once about telling me who she really was. Instead, she stalked the stranger’s profile and deliberately sent me young photos of them in order for me to send her young photos of me.

I opened my life up to her. She was a complete stranger all along. She saw my entire family, and not once though to reveal her true self to her own “best friend”. She never told us thorough details about her own life, only that she had a so called father who left her when she was young. That was a lie too. She lied about having a fucking dog, as well. Posted about it. Posted a photo of the fucking stranger with her mother when she was a toddler, saying “happy Mother’s Day!”. She completely lived up to this lie, making sure she had every detail included.

She knew exactly what she was doing. Her accounts, false photos, fake voice and personality. She copied personalities off her favourite tv shows (I noticed this) and also her friends. Copying to the extent of saying exactly the same things over messages.

She was so two faced and nobody even knew it. She also lied to me when Taig cheated on me, I knew she was enjoying it. She used Roan’s words to talk to me. She asked Roan if she should tell me that Taig was cheating on me, (mind you, this was three weeks before she actually did). Roan said “yes, you should tell her. She deserves to know. I can’t lie any longer”.

What did Hope tell me to regain our friendship?
“Roan told me to keep it a secret! I’m so sorry Indi I needed to tell you. I can’t lie any longer, you deserved to know the truth but roan wouldn’t let me tell you”.

See what I mean? Copying, and using it against others. Twisting stories.
Roan was the one who had the human decency to tell me all along. Hope was just a lying cunt who wanted to hide it from me, and later on brag about it to other people.

When Jackson found out that Hope wasn’t even real, and her name was Beatrice all along, he was scared to tell me. But when he did, all my sisterly love for Hope immediately disappeared. This girl’s name wasn’t even Hope. It was Beatrice.

Beatrice threatened to cut herself and attempted to make Jackson feel bad for her in order for him to stay with her.

This girl is so desperate it’s scary. She now claims that she was in hospital, yet refuses to show me proof. She has zero proof of her being in hospital, or her cutting, or her with her own mother. Her so called mother wasn’t real either, that is a complete stranger’s family that Beatrice tried to steal and create an entirely false reality out of.

Beatrice went through the efforts of stalking a stranger just to find young photos, so that I could reveal young photos of me back. She would make fun of those photos, laugh at them, and proceed to send me fake photos of a poor innocent family that had no idea she was trying to portray as her own.

She lived this lie for five months. That is an extremely long time. Therefore I will never forgive her for her actions. I thought I knew a girl who was my close friend, nearly a sister. Turns out her appearance was just as ugly as her personality.

A fake tone in voice and victimised character was all it took to become “Hope”. All she needed to do in order for everyone to like her was to fake laugh at things that weren’t funny at all, scream out obnoxiously whenever she “missed” anyone, compliment people without truly meaning it, and never reveal any thorough details about her actual life.

When Jackson and I found out, it was planned that we break Beatrice a little more. Sure, she tried getting us to pity her. But right now, she thinks that she’s the only one who has been attacked. We have all personally been lied to, manipulated, and deceived by Beatrice. She is NOT the victim anymore. She cannot play the victim card anymore.

She didn’t even think I deserved to know the truth about her. If she had of not lied from the beginning, maybe I would find her a little less annoying. This situation has given me the opportunity to finally tell you how much you have made me gravelly
loathe and resent you. Over the past few months, I have had issues with you. You had no respect for me at all, even after all this time Beatrice. You lied to me, manipulated me, offended me obliviously and sometimes purposely, called me a bitch without thinking I would be offended, and still managed to play the innocent character with no personality at all.

You are incredibly obnoxious in my eyes, and no matter what you do or say, I will not feel empathetic for you. I am glad you feel just the least bit of sorrow about this. You have lied to your closest friends, and lied ON TOP of that in order to stay with Jackson.

“She was a friend of mine, she wanted to keep me safe online so she said I could use her photos”.

LIES. It is an Instagram or VSCO model. Not a friend. A stranger, who’s identity you stole.

“I only catfished for fun and it got a little out of hand”.

LIES.

Her account was made 2 years ago. This has been going on for years now. She has catfished before, she even thinks of the most intricate details before showing us a photo or saying something about herself to us. This was not for fun. This is something that she has been keeping to herself for a very long time.

The amount of times I felt so horrible about myself, I compared myself with who I thought was “Hope”. I constantly went on her page, and wished I was as skinny or as beautiful as this girl (who turned out to be a model). No wonder why I felt so awful about myself. This girl hated herself, yet she was so perfect. I aspired to be as skinny and stunning as her.

Turns out, that wasn’t hope at all. I wasted my time looking at Bella, thinking she was a normal girl. Result was that Beatrice was also comparing herself to Bella all along, to the point where she became her.

And Beatrice, Hope, Bea, or Bella...
If you dare threaten me with killing yourself or harming yourself, get the cops involved. I am not dealing with a person’s dead body over being a filthy liar and manipulative person to someone’s best friend. This is what you have caused.
This is your consequence.

You can either learn to grow up and move on from this, or choose another dumb decision based on your previous dumb decisions.

Either way, you should know this.
I never dated Jackson. We decided to tell you that, so that you would get the message and back the fuck off.

He doesn’t love you anymore, and didn’t even like your personality that much. He only liked Bella Rose’s physicality. It was easy for him to leave you behind, and it was easy for me too after we analysed how much shit you caused and made up.
Your personality means jack shit, because all along it was fake.

Who knows what was a lie and what was the truth?

You can’t take it back now, no matter how bad you feel about doing it. You can try all you want to make us feel like terrible people, when in reality, we didn’t deserve that.

None of us deserved that, however I think you deserve to know that Jackson and I don’t like each other in that way. We said that to get a little revenge. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but it’s time for you to know. You need to leave him alone now, though. You’ve caused enough damage to us.

It’s time for you to move on in life without us. I’ve decided to give you similar tips to what I gave Taig. By the way, I talked to Taig today. He’s still alive. He’s doing okay. You wouldn’t know though, because you are no longer my friend.

I hope you somehow find the courage to one day forgive yourself and love yourself for who you are. I hope you accept yourself as a person, settle down a little, and find yourself. Stop comparing yourself to people like Bella Rose. Stop copying everyone else. Be who you really are, in all purity.

Live your life normally. Make friends in real life. Don’t over exaggerate or become overly excited when meeting people, it is annoying. It’s also fake. Never be fake to other people or yourself. Get off social media and go outside more, socialise.

Stop changing or desperately wanting to be a person you’re not. Nobody will love you, care about you, or find you important in their lives if you are simply fake all the time.

Most of all, stop lying to yourself. We are all done with it.
I hope you understand why you deserved to think that Jackson and I were dating. I did that in order to break your heart just as much as you broke mine, knowing that I’ve been lied to this entire time.
