Chapter 1: Solo camping & Club camping
Rin: ...Alright. This much should be fine.
Kirara: Are you going out this early in the morning Rin? You've got quite the big luggage...
Rin: Yeah. I was thinking of going camping.
Kirara: ...? You mean you're going to somewhere so out of place you have no choice but to camp to survive?
Rin: No, that's not what I mean.
Kirara: ...?
Rin: It's my hobby. Camping, that is.
Kirara: Survival camping... as a hobby?
Rin: It's nothing as hardcore as survival camping.
Rin: In our case it's more like traveling and having fun in nature.
Rin: It's something like taking a tour across the land, but instead of an inn, you're sleeping in the tent you pitched.
Kirara: Oh, so that's how it is.
Kirara: Hm? Aren't you going to go with Nadeshiko and the others?
Rin: I can always go out with Nadeshiko's group whenever, so from time to time I like to go camping solo.
Rin: ...oh. It's almost time for me to leave. I'll be back in about 2 days or so.
Kirara: Got it. Please, take care of yourself.
Chiaki: Listen up guys, we're starting the outdoors club's first camping trip in Étowalia meeting right now!
Nadeshiko: Chief!! Where will we be camping?!
Chiaki: I'm well prepared this time, team member Nadeshiko! We will be headed towards the mountains north of the town.
Nadeshiko: Chief!! We don't have our usual camping essentials!!
Chiaki: We'll be buying those in a bit.

Chiaki: We're headed to look for the unknown, to travel to and document that which has not been touched by other human hands!
Aoi: Why are ye making it sound so gran'. We're just going camping up the northen mountains together.
Kirara: Hmm, camping... was it?
Chiaki: Camping in the great unknown is a commonality that flows in the veins of the outdoors club members!
Nadeshiko: By the way, is it really okay to not invite Rin?
Aoi: We thought about inviting her, but we haven' seen her since this mornin'
Kirara: If you're asking about Rin, she left very early this morning, saying "I'm going camping"
Nadeshiko: Ehhhhh, but I wanted us to go together.
Kirara: "I can always go out with Nadeshiko's group whenever" was what she said.
Nadeshiko: I see... then, since we missed her this time, let's invite her the next time we go camping!
Chiaki: But to go solo camping so quickly after arriving in another world, that Shimarin really loves camping way too much.
Aoi: Even though we're doing exactly the same~
Nadeshiko: Northern mountains means there might be something interesting there. I can't wait!

Kirara: Is it alright if I went camping with you as well?

Chapter 2: Familiar tools
Chiaki: So, we were about to go buy the camping equipment but...
Kirara: It really does cost quite abit huh? Camping that is. (Why do we have gold production buildings Kirara gdi)
Aoi: That's right. Although they can be used for quite a long time, even back it our world it was more of a working adult's hobby.
Nadeshiko: Oh right, Kirara. Why did you suddenly want to come camping with us?
Kirara: You can apparently pick a delicacy known as "Tsuntsuun" from the northern mountains. (Tsuntsun is basically how you feel after eating it. I'll let you guess what it is until it's revealed later.)
Nadeshiko: Delicacy? Is it good?
Kirara: It's a bit of an acquired taste, apparently it goes "Tsun" when you eat it, so your either like it, or hate it. (Tsun basically means a strong smell assaults your nose.)
Nadeshiko: So that's why it's called "Tsuntsuun".
Kirara: I really like it. Also, it's apparently even better when it's fresh.
Nadeshiko: Woah. I wanna try it too!
Chiaki: So that's it. We could've picked it as a souvenir for you.
Kirara: That's one of my reasons but, I was also slightly interested in your camping trip...
Nadeshiko: Kirara, have you never camped before?
Kirara: I've slept out before.
Kirara: But that was because it was required when going on a faraway trip....
Chiaki: So the method is the same, but the goal is different.
Aoi: We're campin' fer fun after all.
Kirara: And that's why, when I saw you talking about going camping with such enthusiasm, I also felt like do it as well.
Nadeshiko: So, this is your first camping trip, Kirara!
Aoi: That's al'rite with you, Aki?
Chiaki: Leave it to me! In the name of the outdoors club, I'll make this the greatest camping experience!

Aoi: Speakin' of which, we're still short on camp gear.
Chiaki: There's quite a few substitutes for the tents and pots but, I'd rather use something we're more familiar with...
Leine: Oh, are you all out shopping?
Aoi: We're going campin' at near the mountains you recommended, and right now we're out buying camping gear.
Leine: I see, so you are all going.
Kirara: So you're the one who told Nadeshiko's group about the northern mountains.
Leine: That's right~. There's not many monsters there in this season, and there's a few interesting water features, making it a very scenic spot.
Leine: And so, when are you heading out?
Nadeshiko: We'll be heading out tomorrow!
Chiaki: Once we have our equipment, that is.
Leine: Oh dear, do you not have camping gear?
Aoi: We have what we have but, we're still missin' quite a abit of gear...
Leine: Oh right, I think Kanna was thinking of setting up a new store for camp goods, why don't you ask her?
Chiaki: Really?! Alright, let's go you guys!
Nadeshiko & Aoi: Yeah!
Chiaki: W-what's with this assortment!
Aoi: From tents, to sleeping bags, an' even a standing grill... (New furniture woooo)
Aoi: There's even a burner here!
Nadeshiko: They're all familiar gear!
Kanna: I was wondering who was making all that noise, and it turns out it's just your group, Kirara.
Kirara: Ah, Ms. Kanna. This equipment...
Kanna: Rin was the one who requested them.
Nadeshiko: Rin did?
Kanna: Yeah. They were surprisingly interesting to make. These are just some of the prototypes.
Chiaki: As expected of Shimarin, the godchild of camping. She's really well prepared...
Aoi: Godchild, she says.
Nadeshiko: Ms. Kanna! Would you let us use these camping gear?
Chiaki: Hey! I'm afraid we don't have enough money for such amazing gear.
Nadeshiko: W-we'll pay in installments...
Aoi: We still wouldn't have enough...
Kanna: Don't worry about the money.
Nadeshiko: Really!?
Kirara: Is it really okay, Ms. Kanna?
Kanna: These aren't for sale anyways. In exchange, evaluate their effectiveness for me.

Aoi: Thanks to Ms. Kanna, we managed to gather our camp gear.
Chiaki: Preparations complete, now we just have to wait for the new dawn!

Chiaki: A lifelong regret...! To think the outdoors club and it's associates have failed to read the weather...
Aoi: We don't hav weather forecasters afta all, it can't be helped.
Chiaki: Well, all we can do now is pray for the sun. More importantly, we should sleep now to prepare for tomorrow.
Kirara: Nadeshiko. Are you unable to sleep?
Nadeshiko: Mmn. It's not like that. I'm just wondering what Rin is doing right now...
Kirara: Ah, that is a little worrying.
Nadeshiko: Mhm. But it's definitely alright. She's a camping pro after all!
Nadeshiko: We should sleep too! If we can't wake up in the morning, Aki is going to get mad!

Nadeshiko: It's clear out!
Aoi: The perfec' campin' weather.
Chiaki: We'll be headed to the foot of the northern mountains today, and camping there.
Chiaki: Alright you guys, are you prepared?!
Aoi: Every thin' okay here.
Nadeshiko: Kirara, are you okay?
Kirara: Yep. I didn't forget anything.
Chiaki: Alright then, off we go!
Aoi: Hey, Aki.
Chiaki: What's up, Inuko?
Aoi: You've been starin' at that map for awhile now, is everything al'right?
Nadeshiko: Aki, are we lost?
Chiaki: No, there's supposed to be a road here but, I don't see the landmark...
Nadeshiko: Ah, Aki! There's a sign here!
Chiaki: Well done Nadeshiko!
Aoi: Whas up with tis, it seems to have been uprooted.
Kirara: Maybe it was caused by yesterday's rain? The winds were pretty strong.
Chiaki: Well, it seems we found our landmark. We've found our path forward! Follow behind me!
Kirara, Nadeshiko & Aoi: Okay!
Aoi: Hey, Aki.
Chiaki: What's up, Inuko?
Aoi: You sure there was a road? I don't see the mountain we're looking for....
Nadeshiko: Aki, are we lost?
Chiaki: What are you saying guys, we're moving according to the map aren't we?
Kirara: For awhile now it didn't feel like we're on the road, but instead on a beast's path...
Aoi: Will a bear appear? Tis place. It don't feel safe.
Chiaki: What are you saying? A bear, in such a place...

Chiaki: We finally made it out.... Oh? Look at the map, we're almost at the northern mountains!
Chiaki: As I thought, the road I chose was correct! Hahahahaha!
Aoi: What's this, it's clear we're on a path not on that map.
Nadeshiko: Amazing, according to the map, we've gone a lap around the mountain!
Chiaki: .......
Kirara: The camping you guys were talking about is amazing. To think it was this intense....
Aoi: Kirara, this isn't camping, it's just another disaster...
Chiaki: W-we're finally here.... Our legs look like sticks.
Nadeshiko: Alright, it's time to set up tent!
Chiaki: I don't know how she still has energy...
Kirara: Nadeshiko! How do you use this!?
Aoi: Kirara is energetic too. As expected of a local.
Chiaki: It sure is hard for us oldies. Granny Inuko.

Kirara: Oh right, I got lots of sweets from Ms. Leine before we left town.

Chapter 4: Relaxing Sight-seeing
<Blank>: On the morning Nadeshiko's group left the village
Shimarin: Phew.... The wind sure was strong yesterday. The falling rain was also a worry but thankfully it is sunny.
Shimarin: This tent sure is comfortable.
Shimarin: Ms. Kanna was so insistent that it was her first tie making a tent too.
Shimarin: As expected of a furniture craftsman. Wait, she was making way more than just furniture... Just what craftsman is she?
Shimarin: Meh, who cares. The path Cork told me about should be... hm, here?
Shimarin: "If it's your first time there, I recommend you take a stroll along the mountain path." was what she said, I guess I'll check it out.
Shimarin: Is this a... rock? If I look closely, it kinda resembles a bull.
Shimarin: Bull... that reminded me of the incident at Lake Shibire so, let's move on...
Shimarin: I think she said there was a nice spring around here...
Shimarin: Ah... it's kinda muddy after yesterday's winds and rain.
Shimarin: Ooh, it's bubbling hard here. Is there something down there?
Shimarin: It would be nice if the water clears up... It looks like a poisonous swamp when it's muddy like that.
Shimarin: Well, it can't be helped if it depends on the weather.
Shimarin: A shrine for hikers to pray for safety.
Shimarin: The branches and leaves are completely tangled... I can't tell if it's due to the wind, or if it was originally like that.
Shimarin: I'll just ignore it.
Shimarin: To think there was a teahouse there, it had good food too.

Shimarin: Cork introduced me to a great place. I'll go ask again when she's free.

Chapter 5: A camp meal & fun in the river
Nadeshiko: Breakfast is ready! This is yours, Kirara.
Kirara: Wow... Your cooking is amazing, Nadeshiko!
Nadeshiko: They're all just simple dishes, ehehe.
Chiaki: Nadeshiko's cooking is the pride and joy of the outdoors club after all!
Aoi: Why are camp meals so good, I wonda?
Chiaki: What should we do after our meal? Sightseeing?
Kirara: I'll be headed towards the mountain to look for the Tsuntsuun.
Aoi: That's yer reason for comin' with us afta all.
Chiaki: Alright! Let's go look for this Tsuntsuun too!
Aoi: Sounds good~
Kirara: Eh? I can't trouble you like that...
Chiaki: Don't worry about it! You can leave it in the hands of the Yamanashi girls!

Chiaki: Doesn't matter if it's a Tsuntsun or a Bunbun, we'll find it all the same!

Kirara: If that's the case then, I'll be in your care.

Kirara: Uhhh, It's a pretty green plant that grows out of the ground, is what I know.
Chiaki: I see, I see. Let's slowly look along the river then.

Kirara: There doesn't seem to be any...

Chiaki: You guys! Are you seriously not searching!?
Nadeshiko: Aki, Kirara! The river water is really cooling, and it feels real good!
Aoi: We thought of takin a short break, an now we're stuck~

Aoi: Kirara. Is there any other places the Tsuntsuun might be?
Kirara: I heard from Cork that apparently they can grow in the mountain caves too.
Chiaki: Okay. Then we'll head there tomorrow. We'll find the Tsuntsuun this time!

-On the morning of the day Nadeshiko's group was playing in the river-

Cardamom: You've alreaady shown me this last night but, it sure is interesting. This burner thing. It's like magic.
Cardamom: You said an acquaintance made it for you? That's nice. I want one too.
Cardamom: Hey Rin, could you give this to me?
Shimarin: Eh, I can't, it'd be troubling if I didn't have this...
Cardamom: I see, that's a pity. I'll give it up this time.
Shimarin: Sorry...
Cardamom: It's no problem at all, I'm the one causing you trouble after all.
Cardamom: Here you go. Your half of the Mackerel.
Shimarin: Ah, thanks...
Cardamom: Alright, let's dig in!

Shimarin A: This person that appeared last night. Her name was... Cardamom, I think?
Shimarin A: She's an "arbitrator", and she seems to be traveling Étoilia.
Shimarin A: I don't really know but, it seems she punishes wrongdoers, and helps villagers who are in trouble.
Shimarin A: So... It's something like the Mito koumon? (TL Note: A long running period drama, featuring a traveling retired Shogun of Mito and his two retainers, who go around punishing wrongdoers and helping those in trouble. Fun fact: It ran from 1969 all the way to 2011.)
Shimarin A: And on her journey, while she was looking for something, she ended up here, and found me by chance.
Shimarin A: If that's the case, it would just be a normal meeting between campers but,
Shimarin A: To think that I would get her interested in the camp gear made by Ms. Kanna...

Cardamom: What's wrong? You've been staring at me for a while now.

Cardamom: Is that so? It's just I didn't expect to eat something like this after waking up from camping in the middle of nowhere.
Shimarin: Really? It should be easy for you catch fishes with that knife, you did catch a Mackerel...
Cardamom: I might be able to catch them, but I can't roast 'em. I was actually thinking of eating some of those nuts over there.
Shimarin: That's wild......
Cardamom: I get that a lot. I only bring the bare minimum after all. All I need is a knife and some rope and it's all okay.
Shimarin: So uh, Ms. Cardamom...
Cardamom: Just Cardamom is fine, Rin.
Shimarin: So, what are you looking for here, Cardamom?
Cardamom: I'm looking for a plant called Tsuntsuun. It's a favorite.
Shimarin: Tsuntsuun?
Cardamom: You don't know? It's very stimulating and tasty. You should try it if you get the chance.
Cardamom: You're just here for sightseeing? How strange. To go out of your way to camp instead of staying at an inn.

Shimarin: I've been here for 2 days so, I think I'll be heading back.
Cardamom: Where did you come from, Rin?
Shimarin: A village south from here.
Cardamom: ...Hm, then you might not be able to return just yet.

Cardamom: The bridge to the south was destroyed by the strong winds from before. I don't think it has been repaired yet.
Shimarin: Really? ...what should I do? If I return late, everyone might be worried...
Cardamom: Shall I show you the way? I know a way around the bridge.

Cardamom: Yep. Oh but I'm looking for the Tsuntsuun right now so, if tomorrow is alright with you?

Shimarin: I should start preparing lunch. I'm so glad I brought extra food.

Chapter 7: The frightful rumor of the Northern mountains.
Nadeshiko: There it is! A cave!
Chiaki: Okay group member Kirara. Prepare the lantern!
Kirara: Yes, captain!
Chiaki: A bull monster, a poisonous swamp, a company of ghosts... The road up to here was difficult, but now, we shall unravel the mysteries of this world!
Aoi: An' our objective's changed again.

Shimarin: ....It's a cave.
Shimarin: Tsuntsuun's can be found in caves, was what Cardamom said, didn't she?
Shimarin: I'm afraid to go in alone but, just a peek should be okay...
Nadeshiko: Tsuntsuun. Where are you~
Chiaki: As expected of a phantom ingredient. Even with our incredible search ability, we're still unable to find it.
Aoi: It's not a phantom, it's a delicacy. But, ye're right that we can't find it.
Kirara: Maybe we should head a little further in?
Chiaki: In any case, this sure is a huge cave. It also feels as if it has been explored by others.
Aoi: Kirara. Was this cave used fer somethin'?
Kirara: It's not just here but, the Northern mountains used to be a mining hub, so lots of digging has been done around these parts.
Nadeshiko: Ehh. Does that mean that it might be connected to another exit somewhere else?
Kirara: Who knows...
Kirara: Oh right, there's also a rumor surrounding these mountains.
Chiaki: Rumor?
Kirara: Once, there was a person who got lost in these caves, and to this day they're still looking for the exit...
Chiaki: Wha...what...!?
Nadeshiko: A, aaaaaaaaaaaa...... Ghost....!?
Aoi: W-why didja have to say this now!?
Kirara: Also, if you find that person, you'll be cursed to eternally never find your way out....

Nadeshiko: So you've been camping here too, Rin!
Chiaki: Leaving behind your fellow outdoors club members to solo camp, you're making your club president cry, Shimarin.
Shimarin: By "too', you mean, you guys came here to camp too, Nadeshiko?
Aoi: That's right~ This here mountains, were recommended by Ms. Leine after all.

Nadeshiko: Hey, hey, Rin. We're heading back tomorrow, what about you, Rin?
Shimarin: Hmm. I'm headed back tomorrow too. Thankfully, Cork is here.
Shimarin: The bridge I used to get here was destroyed, and I wouldn't have been able to return by myself.

Shimarin: You guys don't seem to be very suited for camping in a fantasy world...
