THE SEVEN GUARDIANS OF LIGHT

Sora's teammates in the fight against the real Organization XIII were the "7 Guardians of Light", but there were in actuality more than seven. This is because members were switched halfway; Terra and Roxas replaced the injured Axel and the kidnapped Kairi (Xion acted as temporary member, but the official final members can be confirmed in the Character Files). To note, it was Yen Sid who gathered the 7 Guardians of Light when he understood that the clash of 7 lights and 13 darknesses would create the χ-blade. Otherwise, the hearts of pure light (the New Seven Hearts) would be used for the clash between light and darkness, and it was deemed to be too dangerous for them.
