“Millions of us had suffered because of what your subjects did to us during our lives and now you want them to send them here so they can continue tormenting us and forcing us to live through our past traumas?”

“I refuse to live with the one who has hurt me!”

“I refuse as well!”

“We all refuse!”

The residents of Hell are not the only ones who are against Charlie’s idea of reforming demons. But while the residents of hell see reformation as a complete joke and laugh at it, the residents of Heaven see this idea as bringing bad memories and pain to a place where they won’t have to go through whatever pain and trauma they had to go through due to the sinners who took their lives away…and they are PISSED.

This was something I realized when I was re-watching Hazbin. Because the sinners in hell are more than likely those who have caused pain and torment to innocent people while they were alive so how would the angels who have been hurt and murdered by those in hell react to the idea of their murderer/tormentor/abuser/etc being in heaven with them?

This subject is something I would love to see in Hazbin Hotel!

Also I have no idea how angels are like in Hazbin Hotel so most of this is just my own ideas until we get canon confirmation on how they are like. ^^;

Pretty sure Heaven is going to end up being just as evil as Hell but in a more Third Reich/Soviet Union kind of way..

I'm telling you, the Von Eldritch family is behind the Extirminators, I just know it.
They're outside of Heaven and Hells jurisdiction.
Eldritch beings always hunger for souls.
And Charlie is at odds with at least two members of the family.
It just makes too much sense.

There's another fan comic (mediocre) that posits this same theory, more specifically, it suggests that the exterminators are all former humans, hence why they're so gleefully violent, they're getting revenge on all the people who harmed them in life and ended up in Hell. Also, Adina isn't confirmed to be gone or still around, so she might make an appearance as exactly what you're describing: an angel who's standing there at the pearly gates all like "what the fk? you think I'm just going to let you in? get lost asshle!"

The core part of this theory that makes it contentious is who exactly goes to Hell? We do not know the criteria for what is sufficient for someone to be sent to Hell in the HH/HB universe.

We do know Miss Mayday went to hell for murdering her Husband (and attempting to murder the woman he was having an affair with). But for all we know she may have been sent to hell simply for committing sicide, and that killing her Husband, who was cheating on her, was not bad enough to be sent to Hell.

For all we know, the criteria to be sent to Hell could be obtuse and illogical. Murder a dozen people but you still go to Heaven. But if you accidently take God's name in vain too many times and you go straight to Hell?

Fk, it's implied that merely having addictions or msturbating can send you to Hell.

If that were the case virtually no Human alive would go to Heaven aside from babies and children. That would be amusing but I do not believe the show will try for that level of extreme.

Where is it 'implied' that such minor actions send people to Hell anyway?

That's literally what christianity is about, they say that only children stay pure and adults don't and adults have to wipe the sin with hard work so their addictions and fappings will get forgave
