  1. [19:00] Tilting her head back a bit to address Eurydice first, she would explode off into motion at that singular word. Spreading the wings the woman had just asked about to wordlessly rocket off into the night sky.
  2.
  3. A blanket of shadows covering her flight like an ebony comet shooting through the inky blackness, only materializing once she came into range of the lights.. The Jarl landing in a sliding stop to create heavy slashes in the sand.
  4.
  5. Sienna orbs settle heavily upon Torgon. "..I can't believe you're actually out and about, can't send Piper after people any longer?" She asks curiously with a bit of an ironic smile, given she had executed the shapeshifter he had sent after her.
  6.
  7. "I gave her a merciful death, more than she deserved for attacking me so dishonorably. Not that it evened the odds in her favor by any means." Her gaze shifts to Vekel, she was sure he would simply charge in without remorse.. However, this fight between them was one that had been building for many years.
  8.
  9. "Same for that Dullahan I stuck on a spike."
  10. (Revna Rune)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. [19:00] From the corner of his eye, thanks to his immaculate 20/20 vision, Vekel was able to spot strange figures looming on the horizon. Acting off reflexes rather than logic, the young warrior dashes across the sands, curious as to what could possibly be so ominous at this ungodly hour.
  14.
  15. "HEY!"
  16.
  17. Shouting in his sprint, he tries to capture the attention of these strange.. what he assumed were Mire denizens. Vekel had already seen Darkness scrapping with some of his kin, but the other two were completely new to him.
  18.
  19. ". . ."
  20.
  21. Narrowing his sharp gaze upon the monsters, Vekel carefully kept a hand resting on Kirukan, paying close attention to their movements.
  22.
  23. "So.. you tell our people that if we enter your lands we are to die.. but you walk so boldly into our home? Without a second thought? Tsk.."
  24.
  25. Shaking his head, his focus was primarily placed on the Dullahan- easily the most imposing of the trio.
  26.
  27. "You understand what this means, right?"
  28.
  29. Firmly planting his feet in the sand, the Karkian waited for.. something. Like time itself had stopped around him, he remained patient despite his lack of inhibitions.
  30.
  31. --
  32.
  33. Snapping his head back to Revna, he inspected Torgon once more.. his eyes widening upon hearing the name.
  34.
  35. "This.. is Torgon? King of Shadowmire?"
  36.
  37. Blimey.
  38.
  39. Sliding his forearm under his nose, his judgemental stare became... even more judgemental- having trouble understanding his presence so close to the peaceful shores of Aesirheim.
  40. (Vekel)
  41. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  42.
  43. [19:00] Alexander, meanwhile, would follow right behind Revna to see what caused the usually calm and reserved leader of the Vanirhallans to jolt at such rapid speeds during the night.
  44.
  45. When he finally catches up, and looks at what is head? He quickly understands why.
  46.
  47. The king of the Dullahans, Torgon.
  48.
  49. For now he'll just stand behind her, suspecting this might be between Revna and Torgon. Even if he clashed with Torgon once before, those two are the ones who have the most history in between them.
  50. (Alexander Vol Hellstrom)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [19:00] Nanzo knew this was either a massive brawl or a moment of conversation. So, he simply walked away from Torgon's side and took a seat on a rock. He wouldn't leap to action just yet but still. He was tired and didn't feel like standing in such extreme heat any longer.
  54.
  55. Scarlet hues simply took in the scene. Looking between each person and making note of who they where or at the very least which group they where apart of. As he waited he leaned down with his Torgarm and picked up a small seedling that'd started to wither at the base of the stone.
  56.
  57. Blowing upon it softly, flicks of stardust leaving his lips. He watched as the plant began to twist and change. Springing to a beautiful display of life once more. Twirling it easily in his hand he took in the myriad of colors that'd brightened the dour-dying desert plant.
  58. (Nanzo)
  59. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  60.
  61. [19:00] The recently promoted mutant would take long drags off his cigarette as he strolled around with his king. He didn't quite know what to expect but suddenly, a bunch of individuals started to make their way out of the wood works. He exhaled his smoke as he chuckled slightly.
  62.
  63. "Seems you attract trouble Mi'Lord." He stated towards his King as he stretched a little bit.
  64.
  65. "They come in flocks even, not just singles flocks. Interesting." He stated once more as he looked towards the scene. He could recognize only one person of the top of his head, Revna the bitch that bite him sometime ago.
  66.
  67. "That one is their leader, no?" He inquired curiously trying to figure out which one in the group he should do battle with. It was probably going to be Vekel, the Main Character of the second generation, would be a fitting end if he was to die.
  68.
  69. If anyone was to examine the mutant, they would notice that with his mask he also currently bore two fang marks on the side of his neck, again, indicating he was injured already. The mutant was bold to be walking about right now anyways but, he showed no fear in the face of, the larger, enemy army.
  70. (Darkness)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [19:00] Darkness says, "<That girl way at the back, I told her the other day to get the hel of my lawn. I remember that.>"
  74. [19:00] Floating around is Torgon, not calm, he's mad. Angry for reason that he can't even quite find the words. First a child, the ghostly gaze is set upon him.
  75.
  76. "Hm...who even art thee?"
  77.
  78. Too weak to be acknowledged, to be remembered or even..truly remarked in anyway and then, the skull locks on Revna. Ah..the coward decided to come out of her little sand castle. A miracle indeed.
  79.
  80. "Hm...poor cat. Dying by the hands of a lizard within the desert."
  81.
  82. He hears about the death of his kin, the weren't unnoticed. He looks to Darkness and nods slowly.
  83.
  84. "I tend too even when I'm just walking by, they say we walked through their lands but I don't even recall that much. Weird, no?"
  85.
  86. The ghostly gaze zooms out once more as it fixates in all of them, he's waiting. Observing, mostly ignoring Vekel as he isn't even a problem here.
  87. (Torgon)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. [19:00] A familiar voice could be heard and from the sea of all places the sirenian appeared, floating. A flying fish. . .thanks alchemy.
  91.
  92. "Didn't we tell you to not come out here?" he queried, from his vantage point he could only here voices and the voice of Darkness. Well that was a different and distinct one he had heard before, one he had remembered. Was it not the same creature that had been beaten back by Benedict? It was still alive?
  93.
  94. As he floated up the steps he paused for a moment and realized, Darkness was hardly alone, in fact there were many people present.
  95. (Lotan)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [19:00] It was getting pretty late. The feminine felinae curious to where the Sergant was going. Maybe a little too curious but he did say to stick in groups and not go alone. The little cadet following to see what was up but stayed their distance. Alexander didn't order him to stay but it was pretty dark out here and late.
  99.
  100. Those jade-green eyes recognizing two of the individuals. One that attacked the green hair girl and the other that warned him about people on the other side of the forest? What were they doing way over here in the first place? At least that Ogre that tried to make soup out of the kid wasn't here.
  101.
  102. "Ermm.. So what's going on?"
  103. (Leonel Grims)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [19:00] Alexander looks behind him when he hears Leonel's voice, realizing that he has made a mistake in not giving him the order to stay put.
  107.
  108. The young kid is way out of his league, should a battle break out- And likelihood for this being the outcome are high.
  109.
  110. The Sergeant steps back, to speak in hushed words towards Leonel so as to not disturb Revna and Torgon's impending conversation- No matter how short it'll might last.
  111. (Alexander Vol Hellstrom)
  112. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  113.
  114. [19:00] The Jarl was more than well known for her method of leadership.. By example, heading every charge and fighting alongside her people as if she were another soldier on the front line. "It was in the forest, but you should do better than to call me a lizard tin can."
  115.
  116. "You've lost your life once and as I've proven quite a few times now, I'm rather adept and taking lives. Both from Dullahan and the living." She steps forward, approaching the 'King'.
  117.
  118. "However, everywhere the sands of this desert touch belongs to the Vanir, and to Aesirheim." They bled for these sands, they fought for them, earned them. She would be damned if she simply let Torgon stroll over them.
  119.
  120. "Cowards who are too afraid to stay dead don't have a place on them." Her fists crack, and the massive Drakanite's flesh slowly began to become covered in more and more black scales. That smile revealing a maw of almost nothing but razor sharp teeth.
  121.
  122. "I've been waiting a long time to see if you could actually be an opponent worth my attention. To see if your gall in sending another to do your work for you held anything behind it besides a simple craven nature." She stopped a fair distance from the abomination, staring towards his 'head'.
  123.
  124. "Prepare yourself."
  125. (Revna Rune)
  126. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  127.
  128. [19:00] How humiliating...
  129.
  130. The Karkian was paid no mind by the King, his presence thoroughly and obviously dismissed through inspecting the Dullahan's demeanor. Something about that disrespect caused a fire to ignite inside of him, his teeth gritting together in disbelief.
  131.
  132. "Vekel, you'll know of me soon-"
  133.
  134. And he started to speak to Revna.
  135.
  136. Heartbreaking.. really. Disregarded as the small fry of the Vanirhallan party, the self-proclaimed Champion stared down at his hand, unable to wrap his head around this interaction.
  137.
  138. Had he really come off in such an uninteresting fashion?
  139.
  140. Vekel balled his fist, a voracious leer shot in Darkness' direction. While he could tell his Jarl itched for battle of her own, he had no choice but to respect her wishes. There was not a tinge of fear in his demeanor, only disappointment.
  141.
  142. As his scarred hands went to unscrew the vials of toxins dangling carelessly from his hips, a putrid miasma of poison came to shroud his entire frame, intense hues ever-observant of his enemies.
  143.
  144. Chuckling in a lowly tone, he grabbed the side of his face, disgusted at himself for his lack of notoriety amidst the Mire. Without any further ado, Vekel walks toward Darkness, his sword drawn and intending to use the enemy as his stress relief.
  145. (Vekel)
  146. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  147.
  148. [19:00] Darkness says, "<I don't think Torgon brought his skull.>"
  149. [19:00] Leonel Grims whispers something.
  150. [19:00] "Hm...Indeed, I lost my life once..and yet many tried to do the same..again and again. Four died by now, more than sixty failed. You say coward to stay dead..funny to know you would accept thy death."
  151.
  152. Not a 'King'. He's The King of the Mire and his kin. There nothing to be felt around the Dullahan if not hatred, pain and a new feeling that he can't quite put his finger on it.
  153.
  154. "Hm..no. The desert is far too big for thy kin only and truly..I do not care for the names of thy people. You lack knowledge to truly understand what I'm and what my kin is...a shame."
  155.
  156. Hm...black scales, maybe he can get some to decorate his armor. Maybe her teeth? An eye to transform into an amulet? So many wicked thoughts. The blood starts to simply pour at his feet but yet, no blade was to be seen.
  157. (Torgon)
  158. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  159.
  160. [19:00] Alexander Vol Hellstrom whispers something.
  161. [19:00] Alexander Vol Hellstrom whispers something.
  162. [19:00] Leonel Grims whispers something.
  163. [19:00] Alexander Vol Hellstrom whispers something.
  164. [19:00] The sirenians sleepy eyed gaze fell upon Revna, Hati, Alexander from the corner of his eyes, a new mutant? Vekel. . his eyes slid over the form of the new cadet.
  165.
  166. He was in diplomatic attire of all things, and yet obsidian focused on Revna. An opponent they had been waiting for? Whispers of familiarity. . . something felt off. The voices of soul assaulted the sirenian, he was a bit close to the strange floating armor.
  167.
  168. Yet now he realized that with the intensity, and the clues from the conversation. This was. . .possibly a Dullahan that Revna detested. Perhaps one that attacked the settlement frequently?
  169.
  170. He had missed the words earlier, and thus was unsure. Though he took note of the stance of those present. It seemed as if Vekel had found an enemy as well.
  171.
  172. "Scylla's scale. . ." he whispered and gently floated towards Alexander and Hati.
  173.
  174. "Who is that?" he queried.
  175. (Lotan)
  176. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  177.
  178. [19:00] Alexander Vol Hellstrom says, "Torgon... King of Dullahans."
  179. [19:00] "I didn't say I accept my death, you're making too many assumptions there." Her smile becomes a smirk, her boot digging into the sand as she presses her weight down upon it. "The difference between you and I is I plan to never die at all."
  180.
  181. To die was to fail, in the Vanir faith.
  182.
  183. "I know exactly what you all are, a bunch of cowards tucked away in a dark corner of the world that's rejected all of you." Her hatred of the Mire wasn't unknown at all, but neither was it unfounded. It was born after years of aggression between the two groups, an aggression started by the Mire itself many years ago.
  184.
  185. She offered a moment's pause, giving the Dullahan that final moment to draw forth whatever weapon he sought to wield before she would erupt into motion. Revna would restrain herself no longer, a cacophonous roar erupting from her throat with such intensity it burst the cool sand of the Shadowed Savana away in a shockwave as she rushed towards her opponent. Her form blurring with supernatural levels of speed as she did so.
  186.
  187. Despite Piper's attempt to capture her for the Dullahan, the Jarl had made the feline a promise.
  188.
  189. He would pay for all he had done.
  190. (Revna Rune)
  191. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  192.
  193. [19:00] Nanzo looked up from his flower as Revna launched herself towards Torgon. Those scarlet hues light up slightly in interest.
  194. (Nanzo)
  195. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  196.
  197. [19:00] "Too loud..."
  198.
  199. A simple phrase towards Revna..one that speaks too high and mighty and yet hides in her sand castle. Waits allies to do her bidding, a shame. From the sands, vines incredibly enough start to appear, spiked ones, maybe due to the cactus around. The cracking sound of bones comes from around as the Dullahan just stares Revna.
  200.
  201. Oh, a speedy one..cute. Within the darkness of the Night, in his left hand a blade is materialized from naught and as soon as the first strike or defense is made. It disappears once more. This is how he's going to fight the entire fight. Summoning his weapon whenever he needs, the armor quickly covers itself with jagged bones and blood.
  202.
  203. The soul is getting older but the blade still sharp as always as is his power.
  204.
  205. Come little lizard, lets entertain our little crowd.
  206. (Torgon)
  207. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  208.
  209. [19:00] Gren, deciding to merely go out to get some coin, ends up in an entirely different situation. His gaze rests on the Revna and. . .a Dullahan? His presence is nothing short of. . .fearful. Though, Gren isn't a stranger to fear. He now has his tattoos. He's a warrior, what is there to fear, not even death for him.
  210.
  211. Static begins to engulf his body, the electricity being a lot more fierce than before. Is it his vigor? Is it his greed empowering him at the moment? The sigils that now exist underneath his skin are perhaps giving him this new found power?
  212.
  213. The answer didn't matter to him at all at the moment as the fight between the Dullahan and Revna finally begins. His eyes are glued to the scenery, as if studying the movement of her peer. He can tell that no one is planning to intervene in this kind of showdown, though he doesn't have to worry about anyone trying to interfere with the battle.
  214.
  215. His gaze glances to. . .the one adorned in interesting armor. He cannot see his face, but he knows that he's at least a being that has flesh and human-like complexion. Is he truly human though? Or is he something else? He doesn't know that for a fact.
  216.
  217. And so, his leader wins! He raises his fist up, a wide grin is on his face. Yes, finally, it's over. . .not, it seems that she's unable to take him out. But at least she's able to beat him in a fight.
  218.
  219. And so, he turns to look to the one adorned in strange armor. If he doesn't decide to fight, he'll not chase him. But if he decides to fight him, a light strike would be sent immediately towards him!
  220. (Gren Beiskr)
  221. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  222.
  223. [19:00] Nanzo whispers: (Want to leave and fight or wait for the spotlight arena?
  224. [19:00] Gren Beiskr whispers: (I mean, why not go for the spotlight area? You can take your time with the rp too)
  225. [19:00] Gren Beiskr whispers: I also want the logs from this entire thing)
  226. [19:00] Nanzo whispers: (My thought sexactly.
  227. [19:00] Revna Rune says, "l/log"
  228. [19:00] It was a clash of titans and for once Nanzo was glad he wasn't the one fighting. It'd taken its toll, the constant chase for that satisfaction, that rush. There was no stopping his rise to greatest of Villains upon this stage but there would be small plateaus. He was okay with that.
  229.
  230. The world was being shaken by the duo's conflict. It was clear to him that they both stood equal across from one another. One a young leader of their people, breathing, living. An example of what it was for the living to push towards. Greatness. The other a shell of life, a mockery wrapped in chains and nyeshk. One whose mind was focused upon honoring the old ways. The borders and boundaries where his to stand as a bulwark upon. Legendary.
  231.
  232. His natural hand, wreathed in a thick gloves, came to shield the small desert blossom he'd blessed with Crom Cruach's gift of life. From its frail descend into death it'd came back to strength. Those eyes of scarlet blinked only as the last blow was struck and it'd been made evident that his King would be pushed back.
  233.
  234. These where the Vanirhallan he'd been told about? Different breeds than the blackhats he'd smashed, stranger than the Osronan's he'd cast aside, more brutal than the Vampiric thralls. Each fought for a god it seemed? Was that what the tattoos meant? It was intriguing.
  235.
  236. Darkness and a pretty one with blond hair squared off together. They where fighting still as the King and Jarl's violent clash came to a close. Still, he'd lost focus upon them. His eyes coming to settle upon Gren as their sparkling lightening caught his attention. It was such a pretty color, the smell reminded him of something burning.
  237.
  238. Was he pantomiming punching the air? Ah, a challenge. Nanzo's gaze shifted to his flower and with a smile he leaned down. Clawing a small hole into the ground before he placed it within. Shifting the sand to re-plant the plant he'd so twisted with his nature. When he stood back up a flush of golden light began to stream off his frame.
  239.
  240. "I am NANZO THE MIGHTY!" His voice roared in contrast to his previous tranquil actions. He wanted to be heard over the sounds of battle and it was clear that there was some need to be known by his foe. A hand reached up to grip the hilt of his staff. As it was drawn from his back something odd became clear, firstly it was far to short to be a proper magicians staff. Only about five feet long in truth. Secondly? It was covered in ancient sigils harkening back to Animism.
  241.
  242. "You shall be the first to face Ru Shan Yao! State your name and titles and then cast yourself upon me!" As he spoke he'd have already started to walk, creating distance from himself and the Vanirhallan? No, simply directing the battle away from his flower.
  243. (Nanzo)
  244. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  245.
  246. [19:00] Feeling Hati's boon coursing through his hot blood, a maniacal grin decorated Vekel's face as he continued to bombard his enemy with ruthless strikes.
  247.
  248. Jagged ivory spears erupted from his body like an unsteady volcano, seizing the moment to infect his body with deadly toxins simultaneously.
  249.
  250. "NOW YOU'VE DONE IT!"
  251.
  252. Bursting into laughter, the Karkian continues to swing his broadsword at Darkness- relentless until the Mutant is grovelling at his feet.
  253.
  254. The battles today were very intense!
  255. (Vekel)
  256. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  257.
  258. [19:00] This round, after the male called on the blessing of his god? Darkness could feel the pressure. He was unable to keep a solid footing in his assault and was punished for it. The fight taking a toll and eventually, he was pushed back by the sword of the Vanirhallan. Darkness would bring himself back to his feet as he wiped blood from his mouth.
  259.
  260. "You might be a little better then I was expecting, boy." He stated towards him releasing his light aura once more to engulf him, the fight wasn't over yet and he still had a chance to bring him the win if only he coordinated his strikes properly. Could Darkness bring home the Win? For himself? For all monster kind?
  261.
  262. To be seen, very soon.
  263. (Darkness)
  264. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  265.
  266. [19:00] Ciro cheered for Vekel!
  267. (Ciro)
  268. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  269.
  270. [19:00] Leonel Grims says, "observe"
  271. [19:00] Nanzo whispers: Got a new Torgarm)
  272. [19:00] Once again, the chants and songs that Vekel heard in his head were not for naught, his youthful stride and unwavering courage leading him to yet another victory over the abominations that dwelled within the Mire.
  273.
  274. However, the battle came at a cost. Not only was it not as favourable as Vekel wanted it to be, but he sustained another sprained ankle due to his careless movements and Darkness' tactical strikes. Nothing serious for a Magi, of course.
  275.
  276. Waves of light and cosmic energies clashed with Vekel's biophysical proficiencies- broken bones and splatters of poison polluting the already battle-scarred sands, that too after the legendary battle between Revna and Torgon.
  277.
  278. The environment was mercilessly used as a playing ground, in this case!
  279.
  280. Much like Revna's might, the Vanirhallan dominance was inevitable- Vekel carefully maneuvering around the plethora of projectiles and deadly beams shot out by the Mutant. Using the only opening he could muster to find throughout the entire battle, the warrior ducked, tucked and upward slashed the suspecting Darkness- thankful for Hati's gift and his own evasiveness.
  281.
  282. A morbid sight for those unaccustomed to gore, the enemy's right arm was cleanly decapitated from his body, the poison coating on Kirukan promptly and painfully cauterizing the Beauty's wound, any signs of bleeding halted.
  283.
  284. Panting and heaving, he kicked the Mutant to the ground, swiping at the air to wipe off the blood that tainted his steel. Slowly trampling over toward the immobilized enemy, he looks down.
  285.
  286. "You've insulted me. Off your feet, creature."
  287.
  288. Leaning downward, he lifts up Darkness by the collar, extending his arms and raising the wounded being in the air.
  289.
  290. "I'm going to drop you again. When you hit the ground, you will kiss my boot and beg for mercy. If your plea for life is genuine? I'll let you live."
  291.
  292. And just like that, with a swift motion of his arms, he tossed Darkness on the ground.. waiting impatiently.
  293. (Vekel)
  294. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  295.
  296. [19:00] "I'm Gren of the Beiskrs. A Vanirhallan, a warrior that has fully earned his tattoos! And for that, I fear nothing, not even your King!"
  297.
  298. And so, their clash begins! A masterful display of lightning is shown off during the fight. The way that the lighting is cackling, the lightning strikes. There's definitely a lot of power behind all of this. A grin is on his face, greed filling him up with each strike that he lands.
  299.
  300. Overconfidence is his bane, though, the way that Nanzo is able to pick up on his moves, counter him, and finally, sweep him off his legs. Yes, that is definitely something worthy of earning his respect in battle. It's a wake-up call, a wake-up call that he definitely needed for this fight.
  301.
  302. Revna won.
  303.
  304. Vekel won.
  305.
  306. He can't lose now. And so, he wipes the blood off his face. He has to focus on this one. He can't lose the first battle that he's taking part in after so long.
  307.
  308. And so, he breathes out, taking an open-palmed stance against the Mutant, his gaze looking much different than before, his gaze is now filled with determination and will.
  309.
  310. "Come at me."
  311. (Gren Beiskr)
  312. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  313.
  314. [19:00] The Vanirhallan was talking to the wrong man for groveling. Darkness was choking up blood after the fight, which was perfect for what he was about to do next. Suddenly Darkness spat straight into the face of Vekel.
  315.
  316. "Monster do not fear death, fool." He stated towards the individual as he gasped for air slightly. The fight was intense, and if he was able to fight it again? He'd try to tilt it in his favor. Though Darkness himself? He was ready to die, die here for all monster kind. He cared not for the Vanirhallan, he had fought many in his time active as a monster, and this battle in particular against them? Was probably the closest one he had ever fought.
  317.
  318. The perfect being was at the mercy of Vekel, but refused to grovel, he'd accept nothing less then death if those where his options. This was how Darkness was, he believed mortal men to be below him, untouched by mothers grace.
  319.
  320. "May Mother Forever Shine in Your Favor, scum." He cursed, Nyx being the mother of Darkness, this was the worse curse he could actually give someone.
  321. (Darkness)
  322. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  323.
  324. [19:00] "Please, do. I'm bored of boring fights." The King summoned his blade to deflect the first attack. The good part of having a weapon bound to thy soul. Been so long since he had need to fight.
  325.
  326. So long since both of them found their equal. It is a funny and yet dangerous scene where..both of them started to laugh and yet the shout came from both sides.
  327.
  328. "FINALLY!
  329.
  330. After almost a decade someone really could pack a punch, he's sure that if he had a body or could feel ANYTHING, yes, this would hurt. Each of her punches meeting blade or an armor with ragged bones, they cut flesh and meat but..this never will stop two beings made to fight. Haymakers against wild swipes, what a fun time to be unlive.
  331.
  332. Are you having fun?
  333.
  334. FUN? YES! FINALLY SOMEONE WORTHY TO DIE BY MY BLADE.
  335.
  336. The thoughts of a Dullahan are kept to him. Punches that were surely thrown to make him go down, somehow, he stood. As if the spirits of the Mire, the many dead monsters kept him standing.
  337.
  338. After all.
  339.
  340. I'm still standing and better than I ever did.
  341.
  342. Both of their will are something to be commendable, a true sight to be seen to many. Maybe his spirit is getting older but he's still a danger to many.
  343.
  344. "Yes, promises. Just come on, Jarl. This is the first of many battles."
  345.
  346. The blade is caught and once thrown away..it disappears and reappears in his hand while he skids backwards against the sand and with a kick, there's no creature that can truly bring him down, child. He stands in the crater and for the first time, his armor has been damaged..in a long time.
  347.
  348. "This desert isn't yours, child. The next time we meet, thy wings will addorn by armor."
  349.
  350. The King has been defeated but never brought down. He looks to the others, will he need to interfere to save them? He does not care for his injuries but he cares for his people as the answer comes to Revna final words.
  351.
  352. "I commend thee and that's why. I'll be back, again and again. Killing all of thy people until only thou remain."
  353.
  354. He was ready to fly at Vekel if truly needed.
  355. (Torgon)
  356. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  357.
  358. [19:00] Gren of the Beiskrs. Vanirhallan. Warrior of Ink. Fearless. These where the titles he'd been searching for! This was a foe that he could unleash all he had upon. A foe that he could push himself to his maximum!
  359.
  360. Like a clap of thunder Gren's assault came down upon the Mutant. Each blow was like the flashes of light from a heavy storm. A force of nature pushing themselves to greater heights in the service of their gods. Ru Shang Yao was showing itself to be a proper weapon! Using the staff's many ruins to call upon the ancient spirits of the animals that haunted this desert. His connection to the land showed him the oasis this land had been. The paradise.
  361.
  362. With each rush of the Mutant corruption followed in his wake. The very landscape twisting and turning as his footfalls radiated the corruption of his star. Life sprung from the dead as he clashed with Gren! Each fighting not just for themselves but for the gods!
  363.
  364. His foot lit up in a brilliant golden light as he twirled and brought his boot behind Gren's casting them onto the dirt! Stepping back to gain some space, a blur of golden light following him as his movement was enhanced Nanzo twirled his staff-turned club.
  365.
  366. Torgon lost.
  367.
  368. Darkness lost.
  369.
  370. He couldn't lose now. He took a deep breath as his body began to spasm. Circuitry multiplying upon one another as he felt a flush of power from Crom Cruach. He would feel the celestial corruption twisting his body. Pushing his frame to new heights as muscles grew. Eyes began to blink from between his flesh as they peered through cracks in the armor towards Gren. Then with a flash of raw cosmic might Nanzo's frame shot towards Gren! An ear-splitting shriek echoing outwards as he crossed the gap.
  371.
  372. "GGGGRRRAAAAARRRRRWWWWWWHHHHHH!"
  373. (Nanzo)
  374. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  375.
  376. [19:00] Nanzo says, "R"
  377. [19:00] {Won Aggressive RPB against Gren Beiskr}
  378. [19:00] ** Nanzo has inflicted an injury upon Gren Beiskr. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "") **
  379. [19:00] The Vanirhallan was talking to the wrong man for groveling. Darkness was choking up blood after the fight, which was perfect for what he was about to do next. Suddenly Darkness spat straight into the face of Vekel.
  380.
  382.
  383. The perfect being was at the mercy of Vekel, but refused to grovel, he'd accept nothing less then death if those where his options. This was how Darkness was, he believed mortal men to be below him, untouched by mothers grace.
  384.
  385. "May Mother Forever Shine in Your Favor, scum." He cursed, Nyx being the mother of Darkness, this was the worse curse he could actually give someone.
  386. (Darkness)
  387. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  388.
  389. [19:00] Nanzo whispers: ( You want corrupted star god dev, occult curse, poisonous toxins, or mutations? )
  390. [19:00] Gren Beiskr whispers to Nanzo: (I want stuff to help dev Storm's Wrath. . .)
  391. [19:00] Nanzo whispers: ( Star god it is.
  392. [19:00] Thorn blinks.
  393. (Thorn Meztin)
  394. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  395.
  396. [19:00] Yiras would squint at Nanzo.
  397. (Yiras Tobias)
  398. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  399.
  400. [19:00] Lotan says, "most cities aren't pedestrian friendly in the US"
  401. [19:00] That scream was more than just the angry roar of a monster going berserk in a moment of stress. It was a mind-twisting curse whispered through the ears and latched to the mind with a sinister plucking of Gren's will. Yet, it did not inspire fear. No the monster that whispered that curse through Nanzo's lips stoke the confidence, insecurities, and greed of Gren. Stroking his will as it pushed him towards greatness.
  402.
  403. Yet, that twisting curse was second on the lightening magi's mind. What was first and foremost was the golden mountain of muscle that was blasting his way! There was a second where they appeared as if they'd clash and match brawn with brawn! Except Gren was a martial artist and Nanzo was just a berskering brute.
  404.
  405. A twist of his feet sent the mutant tumbling past and a series of lightening fast blows worked to push static into the mutant's very muscles. A back swing, Ru Shang Yao's length giving Gren reason to back away. Twisting Nanzo's breath exhaled as he released a cloud of toxic spores! Twirling that staff around as his frame flitted from sight.
  406.
  407. They clashed, the two warriors amidst a cloud of winds and poisons. The sound of thunder being met with the roars of rage. Arcs of lightening danced amidst rays of cosmic power. It wasn't the showcasing of raw titanic might of Torgon and Revna but it was pushing close.
  408.
  409. In those moments the curse that'd been woven took effect. A single opportunity was presented and Gren's passions caused him to take it and with that lack of restraint? He fell into a trap as sickly red light exploded from Nanzo's form! Like a crackling wave of energy that passed through his body, twisting and tainting his circuity as it went, and sent the magi cascading across the field.
  410.
  411. Nanzo's eyes where blank as he gazed at where Gren had last been. His breathing heavy as he sought to focus. Yet, nothing clear came to his mind. Instead something else did! The sound of Darknesses voice... Triple-eyes of scarlet shifted to look upon the scene nearby.
  412.
  413. For Darkness and Vekel? Well, they'd probably be well in their way of death dealing. When they felt the shaking of the earth around them. They might ignore it at first but when that shrierking scream akin to a banshee's was heared?
  414.
  415. Well, it was hard to ignore one so mighty.
  416. (Nanzo)
  417. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  418.
  419. [19:00] Darkness says, "<Seems Nanzo wants to save me...>"
  420. [19:00] How disrespectful. Even in the face of mercy, Darkness spat in Vekel's face.. literally! Closing his eyes and trying to keep his composure, he slowly draws his blade- placing it above the Mutant's throat. Slowly pressing down, he watched as the creature's blood trickled down its nape.
  421.
  422. "Suit yourself, you wretched abomination."
  423.
  424. !
  425.
  426. Alas, before anyone could be slaughtered, a piercing shriek caught him off guard, intently watching as Gren lay defeated on the ground. Clenching his fists, he realized there was still unfinished business to be dealt with.
  427.
  428. "Wait here."
  429.
  430. As if Darkness could move... how insulting.
  431.
  432. Making his way toward the other Mutant, that perpetual lingering shroud of toxins still covered his body- bones still shooting out of his skeleton.
  433.
  434. "You don't get to hurt my people. Not in my Home."
  435. (Vekel)
  436. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  437.
  438. [19:00] Yiras Tobias whispers something.
  439. [19:00] Thorn Meztin says, "Oh hey."
  440. [19:00] Was ready to accept his death, he really was. The sword being pressed against his throat he thought of various things, mostly mother as suddenly Nanzo's scream couldn't be ignored. She intended to save Darkness? He'd sigh in relief for a moment as he took as big of a drag off his cigarette as he could muster, waiting for the results of the battle it would decide his fate.
  441.
  442. "Kick... His ass Nanzo." He stated as Vekel began to walk off. If only the Vanirhallan's weren't so honor bound, he may of not gotten these last couple of moments to live.
  443.
  444. Regardless, Darkness would wait.
  445. (Darkness)
  446. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  447.
  448. [19:00] "You dare underestimate me?"
  449.
  450. Without a hint of effort, the Champion mercilessly assaulted the other Mutant with his broadsword, a voracious stare shot toward his enemy- how hungry he was for this reverence.
  451.
  452. "Hear the songs, creature. Hear the drums. Hear the chants. Those are mine! Do you understand?"
  453.
  454. Maneuvering around the darkness and deadly claws deployed by the Mutant, Vekel shook his head- unfazed.
  455.
  456. "HAVE YOU SEEN GOD?"
  457.
  458. What a catchphrase!
  459. (Vekel)
  460. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  461.
  462. [19:00] "...so strong."
  463.
  464. Again, Vekel shows out against the young Monstar this time! The two were leagues above Ban. He wondered if it would even be possible to reach these sorts of levels at his age. It felt like he was watching from a lower world.
  465.
  466. Ban clearly isn't ready for the real world. Still he gets chills from watching both the warriors fight.
  467.
  468. It was interesting.
  469.
  470. The monster seemed to have genuine care for it's comrade and Ban didn't quite get that just yet. He continued to watch not really caring who won or lost. All of this was just visual experience for him, nothing more. He wasn't invested in their affairs at all. "Amazing, it really is."
  471. (Ban-Bang Kumo Jr.)
  472. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  473.
  474. [19:00] It was a thrashing and one that the raging Mutant wasn't ready to receive. Yet, as the blow knocked him back the mad-occultists eyes became a little clearer and they focused upon Vekel. He was talking, shouting about something. The glory? He was claiming it all? Nanzo's frame stood straight as he tilted his head to the side. Eliciting a satisfying crack as he shook off the pain from Vekel's blow.
  475.
  476. Yet, there wasn't any words that answered Vekel. No, his mind was clear but the mutant was in the throes of an Occultic episode. The dark power that pulsed from his frame only intensified as he twirled the staff in his right arm, shifting it to a reverse grip.
  477.
  478. In a roar of hatred and rage the Mutant shot forwards once more! His assault had only just begun and until Vekel had soundly put them done it wouldn't end! "AAAAAAAHHH!!"
  479. (Nanzo)
  480. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  481.
  482. [19:00] Thorn Meztin says, "observe this fist upon your face rosemarin loire have at thee"
  483. [19:00] This time as he closed the gap between them the Mutant's ferocious assault was shifting. Changing to match the strange natural magics of Vekel. Twisting and turning as the raging beast did something truly terrifying to behold.
  484.
  485. He adapted.
  486.
  487. As his purple blood was cast to the ground, the cuts of Vekel digging deep. The very earth began to spring to life. The occultic corruption of his celestial mana bringing life to the dead. Twisting those decayed cells as flowers with hideous eyes and gaping mouth's began to grow. Each one spitting poisons and toxins towards Vekel. Displaying a disgusting amount of potency.
  488.
  489. Yet, defeat would have been his where it not for one fatal mistake. A vortex of raw acidic might was blasted towards the mutant. Dashing to the side with his celestial enhanced speed the monster spun around and brought his natural hand, claws bared to dig into the Vanirhallan's stomach. Cutting deeply as they send him spinning!
  490.
  491. Cast across the field the Vanirhallan could hear the roaring of Nanzo. A beastial shout of wrath as the mutant's hands came to pound upon his chest! Eyes sprouting as teeth began to rip apart from his own skin. Rapidly mutating amidst the very fight they where having.
  492. (Nanzo)
  493. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  494.
  495. [19:00] "Why... WON'T YOU GO DOWN? YOU WORM!"
  496.
  497. There it was. Nanzo, much akin to Vekel, seemed to fight better uphill, promptly making the Karkian eat his words. But this was far from over.
  498.
  499. Assaulted with Mutant trickery, the warrior relied once again on Hati's boon- his red tattoos of the Blood God glowing ever so slightly as he cranked up the heat and overloaded his mana circuits.
  500.
  501. Firmly grasping Kirukan, Vekel matched Nanzo's war cry- both of their colliding sound waves piercing the skies and calling out to whatever deity they worshipped.
  502.
  503. Truly, the battle was worth savouring.
  504. (Vekel)
  505. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  506.
  507. [19:00] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Vekel}
  508. [19:00] ** Vekel has inflicted an injury upon Nanzo. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (2 days)") **
  509. [19:00] The cursed is definitely being etched into his brain, though perhaps it's that's not letting him be ware of such a curse existing in him at the moment, feeding into his desire, feeding into the greed that's been welling up in him.
  510.
  511. Though, throughout the clash, it's becoming more apparent that the lad isn't wearing any more! The only thing that's deflecting the off the strikes that he fails to parry is his pure muscle mass. His pure strength, it seems. It's quite interesting to see someone not adorning armor, yet still fighting to the end.
  512.
  513. The way that the fight is now boiling down, it's nothing short of a beautiful dance, the intensity of Gren's lightning is rising up, the power behind each move is nothing to scoff at, but the way that the claws are rending into the man's body is enough to make him feel the heavy pain of truly lacking armor.
  514.
  515. And so, as foolish and greedy as he is, he falls for the opportunity presented to him in the battle, and so he lets out a loud groan of pain, the circuity of his now fully tainted. The damage to his body is both external and internal.
  516.
  517. A couple of bones have probably shattered in this encounter, but it halted him from fighting Vekel right away, and it made Nanzo much weaker now. If he cannot win this battle alone, he might as well let Vekel handle the rest.
  518.
  519. A soft breath escapes his lips, now observing the fierce fight between Vekel and Nanzo. He has the upper hand at first, but as it went on, it seems to slowly shift into Nanzo favor.
  520.
  521. ". . .Vekel."
  522.
  523. He mutters underneath his lips, coughing some blood into his fist.
  524.
  525. ". . .You can handle this one, champ."
  526.
  527. "OI, VEKEL! YOU BETTER NOT LOSE THIS ONE, YOU'RE THE CHAMPION THAT I LOOK UP TO AND MY SHIELD BROTHER, FINISH WHAT I STARTED!"
  528.
  529. And so he rests his body, perhaps awaiting patching up.
  530. (Gren Beiskr)
  531. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  532.
  533. [19:00] Klichko still had no idea what really was going on.. but he was truly amazed by the battle that he has just seen.. Champion as Vekel introduced himself as really seemed like a champion. "Eyo, you really weren't playing when you said you're the champion."
  534. (Klichko)
  535. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  536.
  537. [19:00] Rosemarin clears her throat.
  538. (Rosemarin Loire)
  539. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  540.
  541. [19:00] Ciel looked over at Thorn impatiently, wondering if he or Cedar were gonna actually do anything or not.
  542.
  543.
  544. The fireblooded have no ties with the Mire, so she felt no particular need to intervene...at least not alone. She glances at all those present before returning her attention to the fight, the two combatants duking it out for their very lives, and the lives of the one captured on the sidelines.
  545.
  546.
  547. She had vaguely remembered that one, as they had a few conversations prior to this...a shame truly, if he has to die here. She taps her foot impatiently before looking over to spot Vol Hellstrom in the crowd...she smiles and gives a rather condescending wave.
  548.
  549.
  550. Alexander likely knows why, given the days previous letter.
  551. (Ciel Valkrin)
  552. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  553.
  554. [19:00] Rosemarin smiles warmly. Her cheeks flush, even.
  555. (Rosemarin Loire)
  556. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  557.
  558. [19:00] Veins protruded all over his body, muscles bulging as his circuitry went into overclock to sustain the Karkian's immense power. While a part of his circuitry was still injured after his pseudo-divine encounter, he was able to successfully overpower the Mutant- this fight proving to be a lot more difficult than that with Darkness.
  559.
  560. Whatever gifts had been bestowed upon these accursed creatures.. they hurt like Hel- ripping at Vekel's life essence directly causing him to lose balance when struck. His blood splattered over the field as several large cuts slashed through his armour, but his indomitable will thrust him forward perpetually.
  561.
  562. Kark encountered numerous obstacles in his path- his mortality his biggest gift and curse.
  563.
  564. Shackled by limits and inhibitors, the Blood God achieved spectacular feats throughout his lifetime.
  565.
  566. In moments of doubt and hesitation, Vekel always believed it best to consider what his God may have done in his situation.
  567.
  568. The first step? Pest control
  569.
  570. "LEAVE MY HOME AND NEVER RETURN, BASTARD!
  571.
  572. He persevered through the anguish.
  573.
  574. Unleashing yet another lung shattering war cry, the Champion powered through the claws and the darkness, evading any blows that may have been considered lethal- reaching for his hip and chucking a glass orb full of poison at Nanzo's head.
  575.
  576. CRASH!
  577.
  578. Shards of glass pierced the Mutant's skin and relatively weak poison caused a few moments of blindness.. but excruciating pain to his epidermis. This battle was over, Vekel having once again picked up the slack of his peers.
  579.
  580. Grumbling, he could barely stand at this point, his attention shifting to Darkness. However, he had some parting words for the shadow Mutant.. the one that had given him such a hard time.
  581.
  582. "Send your King my regards... Ask if he'll forget of Vekel, the Hand of Kark."
  583.
  584. Bloodied, bruised, broken and crazed, a psychotic laughter resonated through the desert as he limped over to Darkness... dragging him by the collar into the confines of Aesirheim.
  585.
  586. His fate to be determined.. but likely sealed.
  587. (Vekel)
  588. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  589.
  590. [19:00] Rosemarin Loire says, "Hironoji..."
  591. [19:00] Thorn removes the hat, he lowers his head. Disparaged.
  592. (Thorn Meztin)

  625. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  626.
  627. [19:00] HE WAS MIGHTY!
  628.
  629. That much was evident as he clashed with the rising star of the Aesir. Perhaps that was what made this moment so beautiful. The life of another held in the balance as the two rising stars of their lands fought one another.
  630.
  631. Nanzo's wounds where mounting from his constant exertion and push for battle. Yet, this was the strongest of foes. Even stronger than Gren who'd nearly brought the mutant to his knees. Yet, as his eyes focused on those glowing red tattoos he was faced with the obvious problem.

  633. He was fighting a losing battle! Vekel's might struck like the blow of a master smiths hammer. Slicing into flesh that continued to grow and coil around his blade. Each exchange of strikes being met with the Mutant struggling to bring his power to bare.

  635. Bone shattering swings of Ru Shang Yao where countered and ressited. As the Karkian's gods watched down upon him! Yet, Nanzo's own where watching, twisted deities of corruption and darkness. 638.
  639. With a jerk his hand tore off the mask from his face. Revealing an all to human countenance blessed with a single eye shining amidst his forehead. His face was young, at odds with the body he possessed. Yet, the mask had saved it from being marred forever. Light scarring was preferable.

  641. The pain had knocked him to his senses and with it his words left his throat. "You are worthy of Nanzo's hatred. Wretched one of pride and vanity. When next we meet you will face Crom Cruach and be GROUND TO DUST!" His words shifted into a roar as themutant's knees bent. A flash of cosmic power pushed him from the ground as he leapt high. Then his arm shot out and he quiet literally blasted himself out of the area!
