- >You pushed open the door to the local Griffon Butcher's shop, the struggling changeling in your iron grip.
- >A large, grey-brown griffon was currently cutting a steak into small cubes.
- >It looks like you had interrupted his family dinner.
- >Said family waved to you briefly, before retreating to the second floor.
- >"Ah, hello my human frie-" He started boldly, before stopping. "Oh my, where is your purple Alicorn friend?"
- >He then looked at the changeling struggling in your grip.
- >"Also, why do you have the Scourge with you?"
- "Hey Algore. Mind if I...'borrow' your freezer?"
- >He stepped aside, curious.
- >You pushed the metal door open, then roughly threw the bugpony against the steel-lined walls on the other side.
- >There was a crack that echoed off the walls and frozen hunks of meat, and the changeling slid down with a trail of green ichor.
- "Close the door."
- >The large bird-lion did so, but stayed inside.
- >"Anonymous, what's going on?"
- "This thing has information on where Twilight Sparkle has gone, and I intend to get it."
- >"Oh, an interrogation?" He asked, before a predatory grin spread across his beak.
- >"Well, why didn't you say so! Hold on, I think I still have some interesting 'toys' from my time in the Griffon army..."
- >The door opened, and the Changeling charged for it.
- >You kicked it in the side of the neck as it tried to get by, slamming into the side walls.
- >It stopped moving, though the condensation from its breath could still be seen.
- >Good. Wouldn't do to kill it yet.
- >The door opened again, and the large griffon dropped a suitcase on the floor with a heavy thud.
- >Popping it open, you saw various interesting tools.
- >A scalpel, a peeler that still had a dried bloodstain on the handle, a handsaw, a gauntlet with spiked knuckles...
- >...among other things.
- >The changeling saw these too, and began hyperventilating on top of the shiver induced by the chilly room.
- "You have one chance to avoid this being unpleasant. Where. Is. She."
- >Not a question, a demand.
- >The bugpony remained rooted to the spot, and you were pretty sure it just urinated in fear.
- >Being trapped by two of the nastiest predators ever to grace the planet was sure to do that.
- >Sure enough, a yellow puddle stained the side of the wall and the floor.
- >"Hey hey hey, I gotta clean that now." Al groused.
- >You took a step forward.
- >"Wait, wait!" It shrieked in a high-pitched voice.
- >The griffon winced, but remained in the room.
- "You had your chance."
- >"No, no, wait, please!"
- >You stalled, the hacksaw in your hands.
- >"Mm, good choice. I'd go for the horn, it'll stop it from transforming." Al said sagely.
- "Oh?"
- >"Yeah. Interrogated my fair share of changelings during the war, I know most of their soft points. Good use of that ring, by the way."
- >Algore was your source for all things Griffon or meat based, naturally.
- >Looks like he'd be your mentor on this interrogation too.
- "If I want to cause pain, where?"
- >"If you're looking for permanent damage that won't kill, then..."
- >"The eyes, naturally. After that, pluck the wings. Tertiary zone would be underneath the chitin, anywhere."
- >The bell chimed on the Griffon's front door, and he stepped out.
- >You put the hacksaw back, going for the scalpel instead.
- >"I'll tell you where she is, just let me go! That's all I ask!"
- "This is not a negotiation."
- >You plunged the bladed tool into the changeling's side, before pulling it back out.
- >It was coated in the bug's green blood.
- "You WILL tell me where she is, and then I'll decide what to do with you. Get to talking."
- >"Just outside Canterlot, in the mountains! There's a burrow that the Canterlot Guard never found after the battle! Twilight Sparkle is there, I swear!"
- "Where in the mountain?"
- >"Underneath the train tunnels!"
- >You paused for a moment, considering it.
- >Whirling on your heel, you leveled a heavy right hook into the bug's jaw.
- >It cracked satisfyingly, hanging low and obviously dislocated.
- >The scalpel in your hand cut into the large eyes of the black creature, the eye jelly flowing out easily and readily.
- >The bug shrieked in pain, collapsing.
- >You removed the ring, before slipping it into your pocket.
- "Don't let me find out you're lying to me."
- >You opened the freezer door, finding Al attempting to convince Rainbow you weren't here.
- >"I told you, little pony, he's not here." The griffon fibbed, before turning around. "Oh."
- >"Uh hu-hey!"
- >The changeling charged past the pegasus, but you stopped her from following.
- "Dash. I'm going to give you a very, very important job."
- >"What is it? It's getting away, hurry!"
- "Tail it, but don't let it know you're following."
- >"What?"
- "It told me Twilight was in a burrow underneath the train tracks at Canterlot."
- >You snorted.
- "I don't trust that thing for a minute, but if I've learned anything from movies with dumb mooks, it's this."
- "Where it's going is straight back to the nest, going to alert its master that it's been caught."
- >You chuckled darkly, looking out the door at the retreating changeling. It had taken Roseluck's form now, though its eye was still bleeding freely.
- "Also, that's not even close to the direction Canterlot or the train station are in."
- >Rainbow gave you a half-salute before bolting out.
- "Al. I need hunting supplies."
- >The griffon cleared his throat.
- >"Dear Sir, as you know, officially I do not have hunting supplies. All of my food products are shipped to me from my people, in a long painstaking process." He said loudly, acting offended.
- >You rolled your eyes.
- "And unofficially?"
- >"Follow me."
- >He opened a hatch to the basement, and you followed the griffon down.
- ===
- >You had managed to wriggle a wing free. You don't know how, but you did.
- >Said wing was currently in the process of removing that ring from your horn.
- >It was hard getting the joint into position to do it, but you were limber, something Anon always liked.
- >Anon...
- >Almost, almost...
- >There!
- >The ring clattered to the ground, and you felt your natural energy return.
- >You immediately lit a spell, removing the gunk from your eyes and mouth.
- >Another spell, and you had recovered most of your injuries from the...last session.
- >A few of you ribs were still cracked, but at least the outright broken ones had been restored.
- >You'd worry about them after you reduced this place to its base molecules.
- >A final arcane burst released you from the chains, dropping you heavily onto your hooves.
- >You had forgotten your front left one was dislocated, and it immediately gave out.
- >Unable to stop yourself, you collapsed with a pained shout.
- "Unngh...Come on, Twilight...you can do this..." You told yourself.
- >You lifted your hoof, locked it straight, and brought it down as hard as you could.
- >A crack as it went back into its socket, and sheer agony tore through you.
- >It was so horrible that you nearly passed out again, blackness tearing at the edges of your vision.
- >You recovered, to find yourself immobilized by chains again.
- >What...?
- >All the restraints you had thought you just removed were back in place, including the magic-sapping ring.
- >A gleeful chuckle from another source, and your heart sank.
- >An illusion, and you fell for it.
- >Hook, line, and sinker.
- >The gunk on your muzzle had been removed, strangely enough.
- >Which is when you felt a drone force himself into your mouth.
- >He reached all the way to the back of your throat, and you nearly gagged.
- >You bit down in retaliation, tasting copper as you made him bleed.
- >He was trying desperately to pull out, but you had him trapped.
- >Pressing down with more force, you finally bit straight through.
- >The changeling screamed in pain, and you spat the severed penis out.
- >Serves him right, you hoped he bled out.
- "Anon's bigger than you anyway." You commented, trying deliberately to rile them up.
- >It worked.
- >That act earned you a savage beating, hooves connecting with your face and side.
- >Blood was running down your forehead from a cut one of the drones made with his horn.
- >You felt your jaw crack from a punch, and you snarled in response.
- >It seemed as though you were finally incapable of feeling pain.
- >You felt another drone mount you from behind and force inside, getting a reflexive grunt from you.
- >You just had to bear this for a little while longer.
- >Any moment, Anon will be here.
- >Please...
- >You shuddered as the drone finished in you again.
- >Disgusting.
- >Nineteen hours, thirty three minutes.
- ===
- >"Well, let's see. For the type of game you'll be ah, hunting, I suggest this."
- >He pulled out a knife with a matching leather sheathe.
- >The blade was jet black, with a serrated edge.
- >It was roughly four inches long, the size of you hand from palm to fingertip.
- >He placed an identical one right next to it, both intended for you.
- >"Also, for ranged hunting."
- >He reached under a cabinet and brought up a crossbow.
- >You had held one once at a Renaissance Fair back on Earth, but it had been 'disabled' for safety reasons.
- >"Know how to use this?"
- "No, but I'm a fast learner."
- >"Alright, watch carefully."
- >Al took you through the loading process, then had you do it yourself.
- >He was satisfied when you wracked three bolts in a row.
- >"Other than that, it's point and shoot. Try it on that target."
- >There was a small bullseye sitting on the wall, riddled with holes.
- >The first two bolts were way off, as you were unprepared for the weight and recoil.
- >The next two were good, but not perfect.
- >Algore only let you go once you scored a bullseye, which happened after sixteen bolts.
- "How much do I owe you?"
- >"Owe me?" He repeated with a wide, excited smile. "Nothing! I'm assisting a friend and soon-to-be fellow warrior! I would be honored to have you spill Scourge blood with my weapons."
- >You grinned, then offered your hand out.
- >He shook it, patting you on the shoulder with his other clawed hand.
- >"Go get her, my friend. She needs you."
- "I intend on it."
- >You turned and walked up the stairs, hunting knives on your hips and crossbow on your back.
- >"By the way, you still owe me for that ring! Bring back some changeling steaks, and I'll call it even!"
- >You chuckled.
- "Will do. I'll tell you how it tastes when I get back."
- --
- >"Sorry Anon, that's how it works." Spike said apologetically. "I can only send and receive letters from Celestia, that's the way the spell works."
- >The dragon sighed with frustration.
- >"If I could control where they went, I could tell you right now where Twilight is."
- >You nodded, wishing someone had developed Radio technology.
- >Would make this so much easier to work together.
- "Alright, alright. Pen Celestia telling her to have the guard check the train tunnels, under the tracks. Where's Flash?"
- >"Uh, why?"
- "Because he's coming with me, that's why."
- >"Last I saw, he was moping by the park fountain." The dragon quirked an eyeridge at you. "What did you do to him?"
- "That's for me to know and you to, uh, never find out."
- >"But you-"
- "Later, Spike!"
- >You left and closed the library door before he could ask another question.
- >Rainbow had come back, circling over Ponyville until she found you.
- >"Anon!"
- >The pegasus came straight down, stopping a few inches from the ground.
- >"You were right, the changeling went into the plains past the Everfree. It hung around there for a bit, before pulling up a bit of a grassy knoll and disappearing inside."
- "I'm gonna skin that little liar."
- >The cyan pony recoiled.
- >"Where did THIS guy come from? You've only ever been mouthy at worst."
- "You don't mess with a human's friend, Dash."
- >"This isn't gonna be a biology lesson, is it?"
- "No. I'm saving that for Twilight when we pull her out of that hell."
- >"Gross, loverboy."
- >Okay, seriously?
- "Alright, I know there are more pressing matters at the moment, but does everyone know about us already?"
- >"Uh, yeah. Twilight told Rarity one day at the spa, and you know how much of a gossip machine that unicorn is."
- >Traitor, you thought with some humor.
- "Well, that's one cat out of the bag."
- >"Why would you put a cat in a bag?"
- "Human expression, Dash."
- >You walked over to the fountain, where the orange pegasus was indeed moping on a bench.
- "Flash, come here."
- >He looked up, then recoiled when he saw you armed to the teeth.
- >"No, wait, I'll leave Twilight alone!"
- >You sighed.
- "We're going to go get her. You're with me."
- >"Huh?" The pegasus asked, tilting his head. "I thought you hated me."
- "Don't hate you, just find you a non-threat." You replied simply. "Go get your armor, if you still have it. We're going Changeling hunting."
- >You saw his eyes go wide, and his ears flatten.
- >His breathing got heavy.
- "Is there a problem?"
- >"N-no sir."
- >He left in a hurry, and you turned back to Rainbow Dash.
- "Come on, I need you to lead me to that burrow."
- ===
- >"Mmm, broken already?" Chrysalis asked, a seductive gloat leaving her mouth.
- >"I thought you were much, much more strong willed than that. Who knew rape was so...effective a pacifying measure?"
- >The chuckle again.
- >"Of course. I did."
- >You were staying absolutely still, not even reacting to the question.
- >Had to play this just right...
- >Your eyes were locked to a fixed point right behind the matriarch, and you held your jaw slack.
- >Wasn't hard to do, with as damaged as it was. It was more comfortable like this at the moment.
- >"Unlatch her, take her to the brood pods. This broken pony will become the next in line."
- >"My queen, are you sure this is...smart?" A drone asked bravely.
- >His bravery was rewarded with an immediate execution by Chrysalis herself.
- >You almost recoiled when green ichor splashed into your face, but you had to play the part of a mentally-vacant prisoner.
- >Just a little longer.
- >"I don't have much time left, my children. There are no other choices, only an Alicorn will work! I need her to become the next Queen, or our entire race will perish." The queen snarled to the corpse.
- >'Good.' You thought.
- >The other drones got the message, and began unchaining you.
- >The door burst open violently, and you got excited for a brief second.
- >"My queen!" The drone shrieked.
- >It was bleeding heavily from its eye, which appeared to have been cut by a blade.
- >Its carapace was cracked in several places, and there was a distinct handprint on its neck.
- >Anonymous knew.
- >"The alien knows! The entire town knows!"
- >"HOW!?"
- >"The alien, the human, it's smarter than it looks!" The drone squeaked, wobbling as its body began to fail.
- >"Were you followed?"
- >The drone went silent, looking around nervously.
- >"Again: Were. You. Followed?"
- >"I...I can't say for sure!"
- >She growled, and you were getting excited.
- >You KNEW he would come for you!
- >"Hurry her along, we need to accelerate the Brooding!" The queen shouted, retreating from the room.
- >You were unlatched, and the ring was removed.
- >You promised Celestia you would never use this kind of magic again, but desperate times...
- >Black energy lit your horn as you concentrated all your hatred and fury into one thought:
- >You were going to kill all of them, and you were going to enjoy it.
- >The drones never saw their end coming, and you made sure it was agonizing.
- >Every ounce of shame and pain they caused you, you were going to deliver back tenfold.
- >You dimly realized that this was why anger was dangerous: It was self-feeding.
- >You just didn't care.
- >You waited in this room for a moment more, taking care of your injuries.
- >Accelerating the healing process with a little magic, your broken ribs and jaw set and mended themselves.
- >Tartarus, that hurt.
- >The scrapes and scars you left. Made you look more threatening, which you needed right now.
- >As unfortunate as it was, your abused flank could wait too.
- >You needed all the strength you could save right now, and it wasn't impairing you.
- >After all, you had a changeling burrow to reduce to its base components.
