A Cop/Organized Crime AU
Pairings: Established Kuroo/Tsukki, pining Bokuto/Akaashi, endgame Bokuto/Akaashi/Kuroo/Tsukki
side/implied: Daisuga, Asanoya, Kagehina, possible others
Characters: Lots. BAKT are the main characters though.
Warnings: Violence, Angst, Some fluff and smut. It’s probably gonna get more than a little dark.

Summary: Fresh out of the academy Deputy Bokuto gets his first big case when he meets an informant by the name of Akaashi Keiji. When his newfound friend Kuroo goes missing, he doesn’t realize how much he’ll learn by fighting to get him back.

This fic is going to be around 30k+. I have the first part (12k) done if you want to take a peek so you can get a feel for the universe. I don’t know how well I can outline this fic but here goes! I don’t really wanna say too much due to ~spoilers~ but if you have any questions just lmk.

Part 1: Bokuto starts his job and begins developing strong attachments to the people around him.
-Bokuto’s field training phase
Introduction to characters and universe; rundown of how the job works
Sgt. Iwaizumi (mmm) mentors Bo
-Akaashi the Informant - Introduce the Unseen, Organized Crime. As quickly as he’s introduced, he’s swept away by witness protection. But Bokuto has been struck by cupid
-Bokuto on the road
Bokuto’s thoughts and feelings toward the job, and his budding friendships/coworker companionship, esp when handling difficult calls (warning for panic attack)
-Befriends his dispatchers, Kuroo and Tsukki (aka pining Bokuto)
Closes with a party (why not) celebratory of Bokuto’s first month on his own


Part 2: Because things can’t always go so well. What starts as a promising career crumbles as …
-After the party
Tension/angst with Bokuto coming to terms w/ Kurotsukki being together
Boku gets injured/kuroo goes missing (violence warning)
CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP THINKING BOUT AKAASHI ANYWAY

Not entirely sure bout this but I wanna allude to the “leader” of The Unseen and the captive Kuroo having a convo re: Akaashi


Part 3: Fuck it, Bokuto is going to take charge.

InFiLtRaTiOn!!!!!!! Aka Violence
Bokuto’s overhears Suga, Daichi, and Iwaizumi discussing their tactical plan on dealing with this so he and Tsukki sneak in while shits going down
-Akaashi Saves The Day aka Kuroo’s rescue
Has been working behind the scenes, meddling w/ the Leader and his second in command, “You’ve gone too far this time” etc etc
-REVEAL of who the true leader is, big dramatic scene
-The ot4 has some team building time, naked

Part 4: (Tentative Epilogue)
-Returning to “Normalcy” approx~ 1 month after
Bokuto resigns
-Domestic fluff (good for the soul)
Visiting Kuroo in the hospital scene, the FEELS
-Brief snippets of other characters/relationships resolutions
-Ends with scene of Akaashi accepting a position as Head of Intel for the Internal Affairs Office of the County
