- The Knights’ Code of Chivalry
- All knights within the free systems live by an ages-old code of conduct. The precise origin of the Chivalric Code is not known, but it is believed to have been created by knights of antiquity to ensure a swift and fair resolution to military conflicts between houses. The code promotes honorable conduct among knights not just in times of war, but also in times of peace. The code comprises of 12 core principles.

- He honors God, and respects convictions of spirit
- Loyalty
- He serves his house and lord with trust, and defends his comrades
- Justice
- He defends the innocent and defenseless, and punishes evil
- Charity
- He ensures quarter for widows, orphans and the wounded
- Prudence
- He does not seek to cause unnecessary offense or conflict
- Wisdom
- He is careful in his judgments, and reveres the counsel of his elders
- Temperance
- He abstains from intoxication and belligerence
- Resolve
- He remains steadfast to his commitments in spite of adversity
- Honesty
- He searches for the truth, and does not deceive his peers
- Benevolence
- He endeavors for the well being of his people, not personal enrichment
- Bravery
- He does not turn his back in battle, and accepts a challenge by his equal
- Valor
- He treats the defeated with dignity, and brings glory to his banner
