Tonomura: There’s no sign of the enemy in the vicinity!

電波攪乱などジャマーの類はありませんが、
地球連合軍の信号がキャッチできません!」
Neumann: Current position is unknown! There’s no type of radio disturbance or jammer coming in, but we’re unable to catch the Earth Alliance’s signals!

「なんだと…!?
故障の可能性もある、すぐにチェックを!」
Natarle: How could that be...!? It may simply be a malfunction, check it right away!

「トゥアハー・デ・ダナンとの通信が途絶!
呼びかけを続けていますが、反応ありません!」
Miriallia: We’ve lost communication with the Tuatha de Danaan! We’ve continued hailing them but have received no response!

「どことも連絡が取れないということ…!?」
Murrue: You mean we can’t get in contact with anyone...!?

「おい、ディーダリオンはどうなった?」
Mu: Hey, what about Didarion?

Tonomura: There’s no signature!

ムウ
「あいつも消えちまったのか?」
Mu: Did he just up and vanish then?

Meg: U-um...!

ディドを捜しに行かせてください!」

「その、なんていうか…!
彼がディーダリオンそのものなんです!」

Murrue: Y-You’re saying we’re on a parallel world’s Earth...!?

「あたしも信じられないんだけどね。
メグの話から判断すれば、その可能性が大ってわけ」
Mao: I didn’t believe it either. But judging by Meg’s story, there’s a pretty good chance that’s the case.

Meg: ...

ムウ
「ま、荒唐無稽な話だが、辻褄は合うな。
少なくとも、アークエンジェルが元いた所から
跳ばされちまったのは事実だし」
Mu: Well, it’s a tall tale, but it does add up. If nothing else, it’s true that the Archangel was blown away from where she originally was.

「それに、トゥアハー・デ・ダナンどころか、
地球連合軍とも連絡が取れません…」
Miriallia: In addition, we can’t get in contact with neither the Tuatha de Danaan nor the Earth Alliance.

ムウ
「にも関わらず、ここが日本近海らしいってことは
海図で判明してる」
Mu: If nothing else, we can at least tell by the map that we’re in an ocean somewhere near Japan.

ムウ
「つまり、俺たちは元いた世界と似た別の世界へ
転移しちまったってわけだ」
Mu: Which means if we have been transported to another world, it’s similar to our own.

メグ
「確実なのは、ここはあたしやリナリアがいた世界では
ないということです。相変わらず、[MART]と
連絡が取れませんから」
Meg: One thing’s for sure is that we’re not in the world Rinalia and I come from. Like usual, we still can’t contact [MART.]

メグ
「また、並行世界と言っても歴史や国家構成などは
全然違う可能性があります。あたしたちの世界と
皆さんの世界とではかなりの食い違いがありましたから」
Meg: And even if this is a parallel world like we believe, the history and nations could be completely different. Like how there were a lot of discrepancies between your world and ours.

ナタル
「何の根拠があって、そのような話を信じろと?」
Natarle: And on what grounds should we believe your story to begin with?

マオ
「根拠は、ディドだね。人間を20メートルの巨人に
変身させる技術や、別の並行世界へ移動する技術は
あたしたちの世界にはないんだし」
Mao: Dido’s your reason. The technology to turn a human into a 20 meter titan and move between different parallel worlds doesn’t exist in our world.

ナタル
「しかし、それだけで…」
Natarle: Be that as it may...

ムウ
「わからないことは調べるしかない。
この世界に人間がいるとして、その連中にとっちゃ
俺たちは突然現れた異邦人だからな…」
Mu: The only way to know for sure is to find out ourselves. But to the people in this world, we’ll probably appear like a bunch of foreigners that appeared out of nowhere...

「下手すりゃ、襲撃されるぜ?」
Mu: Think they could attack us if we’re not careful?

マリュー
「…そうですね。
ノイマン少尉、推進部の修理が
完全に終わるまでの時間は?」
Murrue: ...It’s certainly possible. Ensign Neumann, how long until the repairs to the propulsion system are complete?

ノイマン
「1時間程です」
Neumann: About 1 hour, ma’am.

マリュー
「では、修理が終わったら日本へ向かいましょう。
各機の補給と整備も急がせて」
Murrue: Then as soon as the repairs are complete, we’ll set course for Japan. I want all units serviced and resupplied ASAP.

ナタル
「艦長!」
Natarle: Captain!

マリュー
「この場に止まっていても、どうにもなりません。
フラガ少佐の言葉通り、この世界の情報を
集める必要があります」
Murrue: Remaining here isn’t going to help the situation. As Lieutenant Commander Flaga said, we need to gather information.

ナタル
「その前に、我々が並行世界へ来てしまったのなら、
元の世界へ帰る方法を模索するべきでは?」
Natarle: Assuming we did come to a parallel world, shouldn’t we attempt to find a way to return to our original world first?

マリュー
「無論それも同時進行で。
でも、すぐに戻れるとは限らないから…」
Murrue: Of course we’ll be doing that as well. But, if there’s no way to return quickly...

マリュー
「この世界で私たちがどう行動すべきか、
その判断を行うために情報を収集しましょう」

Kuzzey: Not as regular soldiers, but as volunteers.

「少し前までは、ただの学生。
ヘリオポリスが[ザフト]に襲われた時、
アークエンジェルへ乗ることになってさ」
Sai: Not too long ago, we were just students. When [ZAFT] attacked Heliopolis, we ended up boarding the Archangel.

「あと、キラとフレイっていう友達もいるから、
今度紹介するね」
Miriallia: We’ve got two other friends as well, Kira and Flay. We’ll introduce you next time.

Kaname: Okay, thanks. Again, it’s nice to meet you all.

Kaname: Huh? Even when he’s a part of the Earth Alliance?

「戦争を避け、中立国に身を置く
コーディネイターもいる」
Sousuke: Some Coordinators reject war and choose to live in neutral territories.

「そう、あいつは俺たちを守るために
ずっと戦ってくれてるんだ」
Sai: Yeah, he’s only been fighting all this time to protect us.

「できれば、彼と話をしたいのだが」
Sousuke: If possible, I’d like to speak with him.

「珍しいわね、ソースケ。
あんたから話があるなんて」
Kaname: That’s unusual for you, Sousuke. What did you want to talk to him about?

宗介
「これから何があるかわからない。
戦闘が発生する可能性も高いだろう」
Sousuke: We don’t know what’s going to happen after this. The possibility of entering battle is high.

宗介
「だから、一緒に戦うことになるパイロットの
メンタルを直接確認しておきたい。
大佐殿からもそうしろと言われている」
Sousuke: So, I’d like to confirm the mental status of the pilot we’ll be fighting with firsthand. That was what the Colonel had suggested as well.

Sousuke: I can tell from the last battle that Kira Yamato possesses a high level of skill...

Rivalz: Yeah, that’s true. Like who the heck is that Zero guy? Announcing Prince Clovis’s assassination all showy like that...

「えっ? ルルが興味あるのって、
[ソレスタルビーイング]の方じゃない?」
Shirley: Huh? Lulu’s interested in that kind of stuff? Like what [Celestial Being] is doing?

「戦争をなくしたいのはわかるけど、

Shirley: I know they want to get rid of war, but declaring war on the whole world to do it is just...

それに、軍に追われている身だろう」
Lelouch: You can’t do that either, you’re an outsider, remember? On top of that, you’re wanted by the military.

「追っていると言っても、軍のごく一部…
普通に隠れてるだけなら、お前の家で充分だ」
C.C.: You say I’m wanted by the military, but it’s just by one section of it... And if it’s a matter of staying hidden, then your room is good enough for that.

「緊張感のない奴だな、相変わらず」

前にした質問の答えを聞かせてもらおうか」
Lelouch: No... And I’d like to hear the answer to my earlier questions.

「またその話か。しつこいな」

お前は額を撃ち抜かれ、死んだはずだ。
どうやって助かった?」
Lelouch: ...When we met, you were shot in the forehead. You should have died, so how are you alive now?

あの時に言っていた契約とはなんだ?」
Lelouch: Why do you call yourself C.C.? And what were you talking about with a contract before?

C.C.: Are you dissatisfied with it?

大幅に前倒ししてくれたんだからな」
Lelouch: No, I’m grateful. This will substantially accelerate my schedule.

C.C.:  Schedule?

「[ブリタニア]をぶっ壊す予定表さ。
世界の1/3以上を占める帝国が相手だ…
動き出せるのは、もう少し後になると思っていた」
Lelouch: For my plan to utterly destroy [Britannia]. I thought I’d have to make my move a little later...considering it’s an empire that controls over 1/3 of the world.

「壊せると思うのか、その力だけで?」
C.C.: You think you can destroy it with just that power?

「なくても、やるつもりだった」
Lelouch: I had intended to do it without it.

C.C.
「見込みどおり、面白い男のようだ。
特別にもうひとつプレゼントをやろう」
C.C.: I expected you would turn out to be an interesting man. Then I have one more present for to give you.

Lelouch: And what is that?

C.C.
「…こことは違う世界から来た者たちがいる。
この情報をどう使うかは、お前次第だ」

(Scene begins on the map screen of the shores of Japan. The Archangel and its mechs are already deployed, save for the Strike.)

「艦長、まもなく沿岸部です」
Neumann: Captain, we’ll arrive at the coast shortly.

マリュー
「ここまでは何事もなく来られたわね…」
Murrue: There hasn’t been any trouble so far...

ムウ
「だから、余計に妙なんだよ。
俺たちの世界なら、とっくに領空侵犯で
迎撃されてるところだからな」
Mu:  But, that just adds to the mystery. If this were our world, we’d have been intercepted for airspace violation well before now.

チャンドラ
「レーダーで船影や機影はキャッチしていましたから、
文明が存在していないということはないでしょうが…」
Chandra: Our radar did catch signs of ships and planes nearby, so it’s not as if civilization doesn’t exist...

ムウ
「様子見だとしても、アークエンジェルを
ここまで接近させるってことは…」
Mu: Even if they’re adopting a ‘wait and see’ strategy, letting the Archangel get this close is just...

トノムラ
「高熱源体、急速接近!」
Tonomura: High energy heat sources are rapidly approaching!

チャンドラ
「熱源反応から判断して、機動兵器だと思われます!」
Chandra: Judging by the heat sources’ reading, they appear to be mobile weapons!

ムウ
「おいでなすったか!」
Mu: They’re here!

(Knightmare Frames appear.)

「総員、第一戦闘配備!
ただし、命令あるまで攻撃を禁じます!」
Murrue: All hands, level one battle stations! However, you are not permitted to attack unless ordered!

「見たことのないタイプだな。
[AS]よりさらに小さいぜ」
Mu: I’ve never seen a type like that before. They’re even smaller than an [AS].

メグ
「日本軍のマークを付けてない…」
Meg: They don’t have any Japanese army insignias on them...

宗介
「自衛隊でもないな」
Sousuke: No JSDF insignia’s either.

マオ
「これで、メグの並行世界説の信憑性が高まったね」
Mao: Well this definitely makes Meg’s parallel world theory a lot more credible.

武装を解除し、投降せよ!
さもなくば、攻撃する!」
Britannian Knight: Attention, unidentified vessel! Lower your weapons and surrender! Otherwise, we will attack!

マリュー
「こちらは地球連合軍強襲機動特装艦、
アークエンジェル! そちらと交戦する意志は
ありません!」
Murrue: This is the Earth Alliance Mobile Assault Battleship, Archangel! We do not wish to engage!

「地球連合…!? 何を言っている!?」
Britannian Knight: Earth Alliance...!? What are you talking about!?

「事情は説明しますが、
少なくとも日本の敵ではありません!」
Murrue: I will explain, but at least know that we are not enemies of Japan!

Chandra: We’ve detected a lock on! They’re targeting the ship!

Murrue: Unbelievable!

「待て! こちらに交戦の意志はない!」
Natarle: Wait! We do not wish to engage!

「地球連合などと、テロリスト風情が大層な名を…!
イレヴンどもがつけ上がらぬよう、
神聖ブリタニア帝国の力を思い知らせてやる!」
Britannian Knight: This ‘Earth Alliance’ sounds like a very elegant name for a group of terrorists...! To keep the Elevens from getting too full of themselves, we will remind them of the power of the Holy Britannian Empire!

Mu: Captain, we can’t just let them keep firing at us!

「わ、わかりました! 応戦します!
各機はただちに出撃を!」
Murrue: Y-you’re right! Return fire! All units, deploy!

「事情はわからないけど、
向こうはこっちをテロリストだと
認識してるみたいね」
Mao: Hell if I know why, but they seem to think we’re terrorist.

「そ、そのモビルスーツは…ガンダムか!?」
Britannian Knight: Th-That Mobile Suit... A Gundam!?

「えっ…!?」
Kira: Huh...!?

「あいつら、ストライクを知ってんのか?」
Kurz: They know about the Strike?

「だが、ガンダムってのは坊主が付けた呼び名だぜ。
あいつらが知ってるとは思えんが」
Mu: But they called the kid a Gundam. I don’t think they really know what it is.

「推測。
この世界にはガンダムという名の、
別の機動兵器が存在」
Rinalia: Conjecture. There is different mobile weapon in world called Gundam.

「敵はストライクを見ただけで、ガンダムと言った。
形も似ている可能性がある」
