RO/HH: Lies, Almost makeouts, and Surfing

-- hinderingHijinks [HH] answers the door and smiles at cirrin, then promptly frowns when she sees the bruise --
HH: woah rustybro! what happened to you?
-- recreantOctopus [RO] looks puzzled at first and sheepishly holds up a pre-written note which explains nothing because he wasn't expecting this question --
RO: "hey Solena good to see you!"
HH: well it is also a pleasure to all up and see you rusty!
HH: but it's less of one to see that hella large bruise all up and takin' over your face!
-- recreantOctopus [RO] holds a hand up to said bruise --
-- recreantOctopus [RO] hastily scribbles something down, then smiles nervously --
RO: "its nothing just tripped over a tree root while running rough and tumble scraped knees sort of play no ones blame! trolls will be troll!"
HH: uhh...
-- hinderingHijinks [HH] seems to be thinking, then smiles a little. --
HH: well alright, if you say so.
HH: let's get you some ice!
-- hinderingHijinks [HH] steps aside so he can enter --
-- recreantOctopus [RO] nods his head, and lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding in until now and he enters --
-- hinderingHijinks [HH] follows him in, closing the door behind her --
HH: alrighy bro, wait here and i'll head over to the nutrition block so you can get your ice on.
-- recreantOctopus [RO] nods but doesnt listen and follows right behind her anyway --
HH: heh, or you could tag along.

-- recreantOctopus [RO] writes another note while walking and taps her on the shoulder once they get to the block to give it to her --
RO: "CIRRIN RUNFARs okay you know barely even hurt! CIRRIN RUNFARs a tough troll!"
HH: whatever rustybrah! now hold yourself still...

-- recreantOctopus [RO] pouts as he holds still, but slowly looks back at her and chuckles. Chill indeed --

HH: a tree root, huh?

RO: "yes tree roots always getting in the way"
HH: heh, were you like... runnin' from somethin'?

RO: "that sounds like something CIRRIN RUNFAR would do!"

HH: sooooo... what were you gettin' your abscond on from?
-- recreantOctopus [RO] writes a response giving him time to make something up --
RO: "a big one eyed monster?"
HH: like a freakin' lusus or somethin'?

HH: seacatmom gets a little grouchy sometimes so i get the whole lusus attack thing.

-- recreantOctopus [RO] pauses, looks away again, then suddenly hugs her squeezing on tightly --

-- recreantOctopus [RO] just holds her against him like he doesn't want to let go --

-- recreantOctopus [RO] strokes her hair, then writes a note behind her back with his arms still around her --
RO: "CIRRIN RUNFAR will be alright, okay?"
HH: ...okay rusty.
HH: i totally trust you so if you all up and say so i can believe that.

-- recreantOctopus [RO] smiles at her weakly, then gains resolve and nods his head strongly and seriously. He mouths the word 'promise' --

-- recreantOctopus [RO] closes his eyes forgetting about everything else. It feels good to be held so tightly and feel so safe. After a while he hesitates, looks at her, and pecks her on the cheek --

-- recreantOctopus [RO] raises an eye brow for a moment, blushing slightly as well, then takes that as a challenge and leans over to kiss her on the lips --
-- hinderingHijinks [HH] returns the kiss lazily, running a hand through his hair. --
-- recreantOctopus [RO] wraps a hand around her and kisses her more passionatly, yet barely parting his lips --
-- hinderingHijinks [HH] just goes along with what he's doing, going with the flow as per usual. --
-- recreantOctopus [RO] opens his mouth about to go in for sloppy makeouts... --
-- recreantOctopus [RO] but then pulls back suddenly --
-- hinderingHijinks [HH] was all ready for sloppy makeouts then suddenly no makeouts! Makes a sort of surprised squeak, then looks at him questioningly --

-- recreantOctopus [RO] gives her an apologetic look and makes a sad sound coming from his throat --
HH: s'cool rusty, i get it.

-- recreantOctopus [RO] smiles warmly at her despite the cool ice --
RO: "well do you want to do something else together? just us two?"
