  3. Common mistakes/tips and tricks: Think ‘Did you know that there is a ‘locksmith all empty command?’ and other important pieces of information that players might not find until much much later. Examples below:

  5. FAQs could go here: E.g. Q: “I’m not able to damage x mob” - A: Make sure to ....

  9. Basic Progression Primer: The game does great at introducing you to systems at the right point, but I would have loved to see all this information together in one place. I envision this as a template so people can really see how deep ATS systems are. Think: a page that has a basic cleric template, foci, specializations, attributes, EALs, etc. Bonus points if these link to more in depth sections in the walkthrough.

  11. Gearing Up: What are magic items? Where do I get them? (Link to current excel sheet). What is unlocking? Why are these items important?

  13. RP and You: Goes over RP in ATS and references relevant help files. Mentions the importance of working with helpers, the fact that players can and should send logs, etc. Make a list of appropriate/template RP Helper ideas. I was terrified to message any of the RP helpers because I was afraid my idea wasn’t in line w/ the setting or was too ambitious for my brand new PC. I just wanted someone to give me a list of things that had been done in the past or something. I’d like to see a list that mentions things like ‘___ goes on a quest to find a lost family heirloom’ ‘___ works against the Order of the Hydra’. This gives players a quick idea of what is possible, and would obviously come with the disclaimer that these are just suggestions/possible ideas to get the creative juices flowing and that they are free to dm a helper with any questions/ideas they have, no matter how gradiose.

  19. End Game?: Basic primer of what to do at 100. EALs and progression systems are mentioned, but the options available to new players aren’t really highlighted. This is where I struggled the most... Do I do tower? (How do I get in?) Do I do hydras? What should I do first??? I had to ask a lot of questions in tells and IC. Also, I’d suggest some best practices here re: EALs and aptitudes - it wouldn’t be a complete guide but it would have notes on ‘aptitudes are an end game system, don’t worry if you can’t afford them at first’.
