- With your partner, compare your notes (did you hear all the same information?), then together prepare a response to the task
- 1. The announcement says that a class has been cancelled and will be replaced by a another literature class. Students who don’t want to take the new class can go to the registrar’s office and drop it.
- 2. The woman does not want to take the new class. She gives several reasons for her opinion.
- 3. Her first reason is that the new class includes a lot of Hispanic literature. She has already taken a class about that, and she wants the challenge of another course.
- 4. The second reason is that the new course will be crowded and she prefers to work with a small group.
- C. These two reasons are why the woman has decided she will not take the new course.
