- *Vampire*
- “Vampire, eh?” I say to myself. “Might as well get ready.” if the forum was anything to go by she was going to come out of nowhere and just place herself behind me. Kinda worse seeing as its a vampire, they where built for jump scares.
- “If the quality of this room is anything to go by I assure you whatever you have in mind would be ill suited for one such as I.” as if on cue, a feminine regal voice spoke up from behind me. Spooked I bolted upright out of my chair and spun around to see the vampire in all her red and black robed glory. Ruby red eyes peering around the room with a look of boredom before turning them to me for examination. “So you are the one who summoned me? You certainly don't look like much.” she says with a smirk. “your blood probably wont make a decent meal.”
- “well I'm not to keen on getting my blood sucked anyway”
- “Oh really, a fool such as you self should be honoured to be even this close to me, let alone have the chance to have your pathetic blood.” the then launches into posh laughter. As she flicks back her golden blond hair
- “Leave.” I cut her off coldly.
- “What?” she ask startled with wide eyes.
- “I said leave, if your not going to do anything other then insult me then there is no reason for you to be here. I've got better things to do today then listen to a vampire insult me.” it seems as my reasoning only served to sock and then enrage her, clearly she was a woman not used to being spoken too in such a manner. The room visibly darkened while he eyes began to glow menacingly.
- “How dare you lowly human! do you not know who I am!?” she almost screeched. The door started to rumble and the window's began to rattle.
- The smart thing to do would be to apologize, maybe beg forgiveness and try to calm her down so that “killed by angry vampire” wasn't on my tombstone. But unfortunately the twin brothers of bravery and idiocy were in full drive along with my annoyance with this pompous woman.
- Ignoring my growing sense of terror I stare her straight in the eye's and matched her shout “No I don't actually but then who's fault is that? You didn't ask for my name or give your own instead just started to put me down!”
- For some reason this seemed to stopped her from hurting me as the glow in her eyes dimmed somewhat and the aura of darkness lightened up a little “You... don't you fear me? I could crush you in a instant.”
- “I do, you are a Vampire I'm practically freaking out right now. But fear and respect are two different things. And ill be long dead before I let anyone put me down.”
- “I..” the room returned fully to its regular brightness as the vampire closed her eyes and took a deep breath to completely calm herself down. Opening her eyes again the glow was gone and the look of anger was replaced by mild interest. “It seems I have been a bit to fast in judging you, maybe if you can tell me what you truly mean by resp-”
- She cut cut herself of this time and sniffed the air for a few seconds. “Is that chicken and...cheese I smell?”.
- “That would be my dinner” I say as a walk past her to and out my room knowing she's going to follow me there. Pulling the tray out he oven and getting myself a plate I severed myself my meal.
- “What is that?” the vampire said with intrigue pointing at the food.
- “Chicken Kiev with potatoes.” I say forgetfully.
- “Smells delicious, I shall sample some.” before I cold protest she simply tore off a piece of the Kiev and ate it.
- “Hey! I said that was... my...dinner?” my words slowly died off as I saw a change in her posture. She look like she was enjoying the taste a little too much as she started to sway back and forth with a giddy smile on her face. Confusion soon changed to worry as she stared me down, her crimson eyes glazed over and her breathing increased with a smile on her face.
- “I was... mistaken” the Vampire slurred out between heavy breaths. she took a slow, hip-swaying stride towards me.
- “Um, mistaken about what?” I stuttered out as her smile grew predatory, whatever she had planned now probably wasn't good.
- “You, off course.” she said with a giggle, it was as if the proud, noble presence from before was an total act. “your blood might taste great after all, I can smell it!”
- why was she like this? The encyclopaedia said that vampires get in to a frenzy when garlic is involved, but all did was eat a ki- aww crap. The cheese must have masked the smell!
- The vampire had taken to time to lean in and take in my scent “But not just your blood... yes, there is much more to be had, so let me taste all of you!”
- with a somewhat unmanly yelp I ran back to my room, barricaded the door and windows and then stood there thinking it she cant get she'll just go away.
- Only for the room to be filled with dark laughter as her voice came to me somehow.
- “There's three things you should know, dear human.” It sounded like she was able to rein in some of the crazy she was displaying earlier ” The first is that creatures of the night can use shadows as gates to anywhere we please”. My shadow extended in front of me and she rose from it, holding my dinner in one of her hands and she pinned me against the wall with her inhuman strength before I cold react. “the second is that this 'Kiev' of yours it simply marvellous and I wish to finish it, so it shall be a part of my meal.”
- “And the last?” I squeaked out, no anger to fuel a strait face. As she placed the plate to one side and used her now free hand to expose my neck.
- “I always enjoy wine while I dine.” as she gave my neck a long sniff. “The finest wine of all. now... hold still and let me savour this” was all I heard as a sharp sting and then a draining sensation was felt in the neck. She then lean back and I saw my own blood trickle from her mouth.
- “mistaken indeed.” she whispered with a smile as she began her 'meal'.
