Hell Hath No Fury

>With a twirl and the stomping of her foot, Lori demanded the attention of all those in the room.
>As the only one present and the only other occupant of their shared room Leni's attention went from the fashion magazine she was reading to her older sister, her eyes going wide at the sight of Lori and her new attire.
>"Well, what do you think?" Lori asked performing another slower spin to show off the new dress she had purchased.
>Leni's silence worried her slightly, afraid that she was getting ready to berate her for a crime of fashion or something similar.
>Leni stumbling over her words, herself, and off her bed informed her otherwise.
>"O-M-Gosh! Lori, that looks totes amazing!"
>"I know right?" Lori said with a confident smile.
>Making her way next to Lori Leni moved in circles around her sister, examining every angle and running her hand across the fabric of the dress in admiration of its high quality.
>"I thought to myself, if I was going to make this Valentine's Day special then I have to look my absolute best. So I went to that new fashion boutique at the mall and got this!"
>Leni's ears twitched and she suddenly stood straight up. "You. Went. To Le Coup de Foudre?"
>"Yup."
>"Lori! Oh My God, are you crazy? Everything that place sells is crazy expensive!
>"Oh. Oh! Trust me. I know."
>Leni simply shook her head. "Wow. You must have really needed it then if you felt like you just had to buy it."
>"But of course Leni," Lori replied running her fingers through her hair. "Nothing is too expensive for my Boo-Boo Bear."
>"You bought this dress for Bobby?" Leni replied scratching her head. "I don't think that shade of red suits him. Maybe something darker, more Crimson maybe?"
>"I don't mean for him to wear Leni! I..." Lori sighed. "You know what? I'm in a good mood today, so I'm not even going to start. If it's not too much trouble could you just go down stairs for a bit? I need to get a some more things ready before I go, and I'd appreciate some alone time, please."
>"Okey-dokey!" Leni left with a smile and a nod leaving Lori to herself to pack up and plan for the day ahead.


>She checked and double checked to make sure everything was where it needed to be and that she was as mentally prepared as she could possibly be for today.
>For everything they had been through and for as much as they loved each other, the truth was that  neither she nor Bobby has actually done 'it' yet and talking about it had always been rather awkward.
>Only a few months ago, however she had decided she had had enough of dancing around the subject and confronted Bobby about this. The debate had gotten surprisingly intense, but after a couple hours they had both come to a conclusion they agreed upon.
>"To love each other on the day love." Lori sighed sweetly, her thoughts of her precious boyfriend and hopefully husband one day.
>Those lovey-dovey thoughts were suddenly cut short when her cellphone started to ring.
>She was annoyed at the unexpected call, and even more so when she couldn't recognize the number.
>"Hello?" she replied with little effort to hide her annoyance. "Whoever this is I think you must have called the wrong number by mistake. This is-"
>"Lori? Babe, is that you?"
>She nearly jumped out of her seat when she realized who was on the other side of the line.
>"Bobby! I'm so sorry I didn't think you would call! I didn't recognize you at first, you sound a little...different? Are you sick?"

>Bobby had always been considered a friend of the family, but Luan hadn't spent any time to get to know him personally.
>"Sheesh. This isn't one of my more well thought out pranks is it?" She thought aloud.
>She wasn't sure if she'd be able to mimic his voice perfectly enough pull this off. Lori's well placed concerns, however might have just given her the thing to save this prank.
>"Uh, yeah. I came down with something just recently," Luan coughed, make sure to get as much phlegm and spit into it to make it more authentic. "But forget about that for now. Lori, listen. There's something I've been wanting to tell you.

>"Say no more Boo-Boo Bear! I'm just about finished getting everything ready. If the traffic isn't too horrible then I'll only see you in a couple of hours.
>"Lori, listen I don't know how to put this, but I think-"
>"Oh, that's right you are sick aren't you honey bear?" she continued cooing into her phone. "I'll stop by the pharmacy and got a couple medicines for you."
>"A couple medicines?"
>"Yeah. I don't know what you've come down with, so I'll just get whatever and see what works right?"
>"Lori that's okay I just-"
>"You also like those gummy bears too, right? I could get a couple bags and we could share it."
>"Listen to me Lori. I-"
>"And condoms. Those especially. Should I buy a bunch or just get the biggest I can find, or do you have some already?"
>"Oh for Christ's sake Woman! Would you stop and give me a damn chance to talk!?"
>There was silence and neither side said a word until Lori managed to squeak out an "O-okay..."
>Bobby sighed heavily, and from the tone if felt like something was off.
>Lori could feel something in the pit of her stomach. Her gut was telling her this wasn't going to be pleasant.
>"Lori. I'm sorry, but I just can't do this anymore.
>Her hands began to tremble. "Do this anymore? What do you mean? Do what?"
>"This. This thing between us. This thing we've had going for a while now."
>Lori could feel her heart begin to sink, as he continued.
>"All of this, you and I, it's been some of the most wonderful memories I'll ever have. But the truth is that I don't think I'm ready for this next step. I think that maybe..."

>"Aye! Papi~!"

>"Bobby. What was that?"
>"What was what?"
>"B-Bobby! Give me more!"
>There it was again. Another voice. Clearly female.
>"Bobby. Where are you?" Lori said in a voice clearly trying and failing to maintain a level of composure.
>"Bobby. Please. Don't do this."
>"Lori. Babe. I love you so much-"
>"Not as much as I love your big fat-"

>Lori found herself all alone in her room.
>She hadn't expected his call, nor would she have expected that a call from her boyfriend would turn out that way. It wa all so sudden, and it left her unsure.
>But after that exchange there was one thing that Lori was absolutely sure of.
>The sorrow that would have enveloped her heart mere minutes ago was now replaced with a growing rage that threatened to reduce her phone to dust as her hands gripped in tighty
