  1. from /hhg/ Helluva Hotel General #946
  2. -----------
  3. Stella can't get a break
  4. -
  5. she need to f-k blitzo sister, so she can get even with him.
  6. -
  7. Isn't blitzo's sister in rehab?
  8. -
  9. That was an off the cuff remark intended as an insult towards Blitzo. We have no idea regarding the status of Blitzo's sister.
  10. I would be surprised if its shown she is dead, I think having Blitzo's sister as some kind of familial contrast to Blitzo might be an interesting concept.
  11. -
  12. I was kinda surprised to even hear non-humans talk about rehab as an insult. Charlie's hotel is a joke, nobody is OD'ing in hell.
  13. -
  14. Sinners may have the gift of being able to regenerate out of any overdose, but I suspect the hellborn population don't get that luxury and would be just as susceptible to overdosing, and death, as any Human.
  15. Ergo it makes some sense there would be some kind of rehabilitation service, even if it's likely a horrifyingly predatory and expensive one.
  16. -
  17. If you can kill hellbornes, why would Striker need an angelgun?
  18. -
  19. Hell's nobility can't be killed by conventional means. It was mentioned in the same episode.
  20. Verosika is not a blueblood, she's an entertainer and a succubus.
  21. I hate to rely on the concept, but ""word of god"" has indicated that Hellborn are not magically immune to death and are more akin to us mere mortals in terms of life and death.
  22. -
  23. I suppose Hell is both dynamic with the lowly creatures but mostly static with the demons and upper echelons.
  24. Makes you wonder if Lucifer/Lilith are load bearing and if you kill them would the entirety of hell collapse on itself.
  25. ---
  26. I honestly think Hellspawn can die but kinda respawn back in hell at a random location if they do, unless it's an angelic weapon that can just delete them from the realm like a slightly miffed Garry's mod roleplay server moderator after realizing you've spawned in 7000 wheels of cheese and lagged the game to a halt.

  29. Intereting, but I fear if that is the case it would dilute the tension if we ever see the main characters under mortal peril. If we know they'll just pop up somewhere else in Hell, alive and well, then there's no stake.
  30. Also if that was the case, then if your arm broke then the quickest way to get over it is to shoot yourself in the head and respawn into a fresh body. At least Sinners are implied to have to slowly recover/regenerate their wounds (which I imagine is f-king unpleasant if they get squished or blown up or god forbid eaten by some fauna/Alastor)

  32. That does sound interesting in that the upper echelons of Hell have no real incentive to change due to their power and status, yet the lower classes have to innovate to survive.
  33. Reminds me of some old story I can't recall where some world with no real technology but lots of magic is outpaced by another world that had no magic, thus relying on technological innovation to compensate.
  34. If you can lift a boulder with a flick of a wand why would you bother trying to invent a way to move the boulder? Or try to find a better way to move the boulder faster.
  35. -
  36. who said it wouldn't be extremely painful during the respawn process? It would probably hurt like hell and would take weeks to fully recover. Reminds me a bit of that one game about hell called Agony where when you die you don't really "die" but instead have to be rebirthed in these grotesque vaginal sacs and every moment is torture until your new body is created.
  37. -
  38. Mind you having a coworker/boss having to stop working due to a glaring injury could be catastrophic for I.M.P
  39. ---
  40. I feel the best evidence against 'hellborn immunity to death' is the fact we see plenty of Imp's of varying ages and health in the show, children to elderly. Families of young and old.
  41.
  42. Speaking of children. I have to wonder if any children end up in hell as sinners? Do they take on a child-like form? Do they inhabit an adult sized body?
  43. Imagine dying as a child, and being trapped in a child like body for decades, a century, longer. An adult mind, trapped in a child's body for all of time.
  44. -
  45. >You become the baby from Who Framed Roger Rabbit
  46. Baby wan' milkies
  47. ---------
  48. Hell should technically be filled with non baptized babies. Also I'd like to think that if you survive long enough in hell as a kid your form would eventually change.
  49. -
  50. Unbaptized infants go to purgatory not hell.
  51. ----------
  52. >hell is just a virtual simulation created by a dreaming Lucifer after God froze his body as punishment. The Lucifer we see is just how he imagines himself. If you kill him the real Lucifer wakes up and everyone in hell ceases to exist.
  53. -
  54. >Lucifer is the Godhead
  55.
  56. Who's going to achieve CHIM first, anons?
  57. -
  58. Imagine if Sir Pentious of all people achieved CHIM.
  59. -
  60. >Cherri Bomb notices that Pentious has been suspiciously quiet for the last few months. No attacks on rivaling lords, no bombing runs with his blimps, no nothing. She's starting to get worrie- I mean suspicious that he might be up to something.
  61. >Decides to directly break into his lair. Sees Sir Pentious in a lotus position (or as close as possible to one when you don't have legs).
  62. >"Ah, I have been expecting you. Please, sit."
  63. >her face when
  64.
  65. In reality though, you need love to achieve CHIM, something Sir Pentious lacks. I'd say Charlie is the best candidate. Either that or you'd need hyper perception and intelligence to see through the illusion of reality, so I guess maybe the snake isn't out of the count yet.
