Gintou on Pure Swiss.

You are Gintou, strong Touhou 12.3: Hisoutensoku player who mains Suwako. You are currently participating in the "Pure Swiss" tournament. You are destroying your opposition until you are matched against your nemesis Roberto. Roberto mains Suika and it's an extremely difficult matchup for you. The game starts and you die in two hits. You are in last place. This is where you will stay, as none of the players here want to work with a Suwako main.
You sigh as you exit the game. You go to get a drink when you suddenly hear someone talking about how easy their match was. You recognize the voice as belonging to one of the players you just faced. "Hey, make sure you watch these guys. They are pretty good." You hear another voice reply, "Yeah the guy in the red had some pretty stylish combos. He was also the only one who didn't mock my choice in games when I talked to him." You freeze as you hear the second voice respond, "Yeah, I noticed he was playing that weird game that some guy in our dorms is obsessed with." Your heart sinks as you hear the first voice reply, "You mean Gintou? Yeah I think I'll pay him a visit after this round."
You run to your room in a panic, and see your nemesis Roberto leaving. He seems pretty surprised to see you, "Hey Gintou, why are you so panicked?" You explain to him what you heard, and he smiles, "Well it seems like you'll be saved by me again." He takes out his phone and calls one of the players you faced earlier, "Hey Kyle, I just saw Gintou in the hall and he looked pretty worried. You know why?" You hear a voice on the other side, "Yeah I do, those guys were talking about how they were planning to pay him a visit." You sigh in relief as you hear Roberto reply, "Oh ok then. See you later." He hangs up and turns to you, "Well it seems your secret is still safe."
You are too panicked to reply as he walks away, leaving you alone. You need to do something before your secret is revealed to the whole campus.

You run away before they can find out your secret
You quickly gather your belongs and book it out of the apartment. Once you're out of there, you run to the bus station and board a bus with no ticket. This is it, you're running away from everything. Once you get far enough, you can figure out what to do next.
You end up in a small town with barely any technology.
