- Dragon Ball: Tullece
- Rewrite by JulieYBM based on the original movie by Nishio Daisuke and Koyama Takao.
- Episode #1: “Shinseiju”
- •Reizun, Rakasei, Daiz, Kakao and Amond—shrouded in the shadows—plant a Shinseiju underneath Metro West. A week later the seed grows large enough to breach the soil in a city park.
- •Opening:
- •Blooma calls Gokuu and asks him if he knows anything about the mysterious tree that has appeared in Metro West. Gokuu thinks it’s no big deal and probably just nature being nature and tells Blooma not to worry before returning to packing for his family camping trip.

- •A Part: Another day passes and the Shinseiju’s massive roots begin to tear through the concrete and buildings in Metro West. Vegeta finally agrees to investigate but finds that ki attacks seem to have no effect on the tree roots, nor can he seemingly break it with his physical attacks. Vegeta digs underneath the root, planning to lift it and the tree out of the Earth but even then he can’t make it budge. Just as the Saiyan prince begins to raise his ki the vines from the root seem to spring to life and consume him. Several hours later Blooma tries to get in contact with Vegeta but to no avail. Gokuu’s phone is out of reception, too! Meanwhile, a battle damaged Attack Ball crashes near the Son family’s campsite. Son Goten investigates and comes across an injured, dark-skin Saiyan crawling out of the wreckage. Goten is shocked when further investigation of the Saiyan reveals that the Saiyan looks like his father! Goten brings the unconscious Saiyan some water. Once the Saiyan recovers some strength he expresses surprise: “You must be related to Bardock’s second boy!” Gokuu catches up to his son and is shocked by the appearance of his lookalike.
- •B Part: Later, Tullece has been brought back to the Son campsite and fed. Tullece reveals that he was assumed dead on a mission months before Planet Vegeta was destroyed. Saddened by the news of the death of his family, Tullece wishes there was some way he could see his little brother again so Goten mentions the Dragon Balls. Gokuu isn’t too sure about reviving someone who’s been dead for so long but eventually acquiesces since Goten wants to meet his ‘grandpa’ (jii-chan). Gokuu takes Goten, Tullece and Chi-Chi to Capsule Corp. via his Shunkan-Idou but is immediately berated by Blooma for not answering for phone calls. Gokuu is shocked to learn that Vegeta has gone missing but also concerned to learn that the planet seems to be quickly dying. Blooma theorizes that whatever that huge tree is it is growing so quickly by absorbing the planet’s life force. Gokuu reasons that they can use the Dragon Balls for healing the Earth but if they don’t get rid of the tree it won’t do much good. Luckily, two wishes remain after the recent battle with Broli. Tullece thanks his nephew for helping him. Blooma hands over the Dragon Radar to Gokuu and says that she’ll begin working on a way to kill the planet through science, since it seems to just absorb ki.
- •Ending:
- •Meanwhile, Vegeta awakens in an underground cavern. Unable to break from the Shinseiju roots and vines binding him, Vegeta curses his luck.
- Episode #2: “The Mysterious Five”
- •Across the Earth the Shinseiju ravishes the planet. Plant life, animals and humans alike are beginning to die.
- •Opening:
- •Son Goten and Trunks finish gathering the Dragon Balls and return to Capsule Corp. Goten learns that his dad has gone with Tullece to use the poison on the tree.
- •Title Card:
- •A Part: Gokuu and Tullece arrive at the Shinseiju and prepare to pour the vile of poison onto the tree’s trunk. Suddenly, the two Saiyans are attacked by Reizun and Rakasei. Gokuu and Tullece find it difficult to fight the quick duo, especially the weaker Tullece. Gokuu is injured when caught off guard trying to protect Tullece and passes out. Gokuu awakens back at Capsule Corp and learns that shortly after he was knocked unconscious the duo disappeared and Tullece was able to destroy the Shinseiju. Gokuu wonders if “those two bastards” are the ones behind the tree but Tullece says that they should first make their wishes. With the first wish the planet’s health is restored. With the second wish Tullece says “Please restore my brother and his family!” Bardock, Gine and Raditz both appear before Gokuu, much to his shock.
- •B Part: Shen Long disappears, leaving behind a confused Bardock, Gine and Raditz. Bardock and Gine embrace before turning to their two grown sons and expressing confusion at what is going on. Gokuu turns to Tullece but before anything can be said Reizun and Rakasei reappear, this time with Daiz, Kakao and Amond. Rakasei and Reizun knock the resurrected trio unconscious and whisk them away leaving behind the words “This is for ruining our plans!” Daiz, Kakao and Amond hold Gokuu and the others back. Tullece keeps struggling until Amond finally knocks him unconscious through a choke hold and flies off with him. Meanwhile, the still-injured Gokuu gets his ass beaten even more thoroughly by Daiz and Kakao with no opportunity to transform. Goten and Trunks join in to try to help Gokuu but they require more protecting that Gokuu, leading to Gokuu only getting himself injured even further until he eventually passes out. Gokuu awakens some time later, revived by the recently arrive Whis. Whis explains that the tree is the Shinseiju and does indeed drain the planet it is planted on of its ki until it can no longer sustain life. Blooma berates Whis for telling them exactly what they already figured out but Whis only laughs in response. Back to full strength, Gokuu begins meditating to see if he can locate the captured ones. Meanwhile, Bardock and Gine awaken, tied up in vines next to Vegeta. Vegeta wonders what the hell is going on with those two and asks who they are since they’re vaguely familiar looking. Bardock reintroduces himself as the father of Raditz, one of Vegeta’s teammates. Gine quickly interjects, wondering where their captors are holding Raditz. Vegeta raises an eyebrow at this.
- •Ending:
- •Elsewhere, Raditz groggily awakens to find Tullece leaning against the wall of the room same room. “U-Uncle?! What’s going on here? I thought you were dead?!” Tullece only smirks in response.
- Episode #3: “Brothers”
- •A few months before the destruction of Planet Vegeta Tullece, Bardock, Raditz and two other Saiyans are on a mission to take over a planet. The five Saiyans mow through a line of cavalry protecting the capital city of the planet.
- •Opening:
- •Tullece barges into the office of the planet’s leader with the other four Saiyans in tow. Bardock demands the surrender of the president and even snaps a soldier’s neck to prove how serious he is. When the proud leader refuses to bend-the-knee Tullece kills his wife and daughter, much to Bardock’s annoyance.
- •Title Card:
- •A Part: Later, Bardock rests under a tree while Raditz and the two unnamed Saiyans bark orders to the now enslaved people. Tullece approaches his younger brother and asks him if he’s still sulking about the child. “There’s no fun in killing a harmless brat,” Bardock reasons. Tullece counters that it was her father’s fault for not cooperating until after he had lost a few fingers. Bardock spits the cigarette from his mouth, stands up and crushes it with his foot to put it out. Tullece tells his younger brother to ‘lighten up’ and enjoy the festivities tonight. The five Saiyans and the traitors that helped them set this conquest in motion will be having quite a party. Later that night, Bardock drinks by himself as everyone around him parties and fucks. Bardock’s mood worsens when he catches Tullece trying to teach Raditz something he is much too young to be doing and slugs Tullece one good. Tullece laughs the punch off and picks himself off of the floor so that the party can continue. Bardock grabs Raditz by his hair and drags him off to the outskirts of the capital. Bardock orders his eldest son not to listen to Uncle Tullece and to keep his hands off of girls until he’s older. Raditz inquires about why his father is so different from other Saiyans but Bardock refuses to answer. In reality, Bardock finds himself growing bored with the common life of a Saiyan.
- •B Part: The next morning Tullece calls Bardock out to the wasteland surrounding the capital city. Bardock accuses his elder brother of becoming increasingly boorish since becoming a lord. Tullece admits that obtaining a royal title of lordship over the Rots—a region of particular crime and filth on Planet Vegeta—he has become more ‘vicious’ about how he operates. Bardock wonders aloud if that is really true. Tullece tries to lure Bardock into a false sense of security and approaches his younger brother casually, even placing his arm around him as the brothers peer over a cliff into a seemingly endless cavern. Tullece continues to sweet-talk his younger brother, slowly reaching for his tail. Finally, Tullece grasps Bardock’s tail from behind and Bardock’s eyes shoot wide open. Whispering into his younger brother’s left ear, Tullece smugly boasts “You’ve become such a bore, little brother. I’ll be sure to raise Raditz and that other one into real Saiyans—Gine-chan, too!” With a shit-eating grin Tullece prepares to pierce Bardock’s back with a fully-charge punch but before he can…Bardock elbows an unsuspecting Tullece in the nose, sending the older Saiyan back. Tullece struggles to pick himself up off of his ass while shrieking “How?!” Bardock’s tail wiggles in defiance, “I trained my tail, Aniki.” Raising his battle power to full-power Bardock pounds his brother mercilessly and throws him into the desolate wasteland cavern below. Once Bardock returns to the capitol he tells his son that his uncle died in an accident. In reality, though, Tullece was saved by a branch from a Shinseiju that was early on in its development. After a few days of near-death hanging on for death life Tullece found a fruit borne of the Shinseiju and ate it. Much to his surprise the fruit increased his power instantaneously, making Tullece stronger than ever before. Finding more of the fruit through days and weeks of exploring the massive roots Tullece was able to ever increasingly grow his strength. Finally, Tullece even found seeds to grow new Shinseiju at the core of the tree. By the time he was able to return to Planet Vegeta it was already gone. From there, Tullece formed his own band and began traveling across the universe devouring planets to increase his strength and life further.
- •Ending:
- •Back in the future, Tullece finishes telling Raditz his side of the story. Raditz cannot believe what he is hearing, let alone that he has been resurrected from the dead. Tullece offers his hand to Raditz and tells him to join him. Together they can raid the universe, just like Tullece had always promised him as a child. “But first, I need your help extracting my long-awaited revenge…”
