- bobbob's Super Metroid Puzzle:
- Goal: Defeat all four main bosses, exactly four mini-bosses, and then enter the Golden Four room, while using at most four super missiles the entire run.
- Restrictions: Standard NMG ruleset. In particular:
- - No Out of Bounds;
- - No GT Code;
- - Items must be collected from their intended source (no artificial items);
- - No wrongwarps;
- - No memory corruption;
- - No glitched beams.
- If something seems kind of sketchy, feel free to ask. Assuming it follows the above, it is likely to be allowed.
- To answer a question somebody may ask, if a crystal flash drains your super missiles then it is using them.

- Alright, here's the updated plan. Thanks for the feedback! 🙂
- 1. Normal early game, but avoid E-tanks due to R-mode shenanigans later.
- 2. Moondance to Etecoon PBs. Get Crateria PBs and Blue Brin PBs.
- 3. Use first Super to enter Red Tower.
- 4. Get X-ray and defeat Kraid (use 2 Supers). Varia would make getting X-ray easier.
- 5. X-ray climb to get Crateria Supers.
- 6. Elevator CF into Norfair (https://youtu.be/3UKSang8RDg) and shinespark through Frog Speedway.
- 7. G-mode into Bubble Mountain from Single Chamber, get “Very Deep Stuck” in the door, and then X-ray climb to bypass the Bat Cave door (https://youtu.be/G-oDs-vVcj8). Get Speed. Might as well get Wave.
- 8. Reverse Croc Speedway to get Ice. Could do this after Croc, but that makes the next step more difficult.
- 9. Get a blue suit (can use R-mode or X-mode), R-mode into Croc Speedway from the room to the right, and get energy back in reserves. - 10. Get Grapple. Get all the E-tanks you want at this point.

- 12. Do Croak's Atomic-Covern Ice Moonfall to clip into Basement and defeat Phantoon (https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/153950399634735105/1004479064083533874/SPOILER_Any_Clippers.mp4). Get Gravity.
- 13. Re-enter WS using either one of cemo’s strats above or X-ray climbing from the gray door to the left of Gravity, and then use Forgotten Highway to enter Maridia.
- 14. Perform the Botwoon Skip in Butterfly Room using Ice (https://youtu.be/mfPsdFJ-rrs).
- 15. Bypass the door to Precious using Ice, X-Ray, and Grapple (https://youtu.be/lDU59Go3ZUc). Defeat Dray, get Space Jump and Plasma (why not?), and defeat Botwoon.
- 16. Defeat GT (use the acid-lowering Chozo), then use G-mode to bypass the gate in Fast Ripper Room (https://youtu.be/k5hoRump52w).
- 17. Use your final Super to enter metal pirates room. Defeat Ridley.
- 18. Go to G4. GG.
