this might explode in drama, but sometimes chris raidleading is really hard to deal with, i kno we have some fights we are doing prog on but having someone being loud or angry can really make it worse. like ill worry about being yelled at more than actually focusing on what i should be doing :X sorry your still nice chris

I personally think that during raids sometimes we seem to stick too much the rules we've laid for ourselves and that we fail at times due to being too stubborn. A general question for new solutions when we're stuck on progression should fix this I think.

Besides that, I find that tanks may be a bit too laidback when it comes to surviving. Too often it seems like we wipe due to the tank being one-shot because he forgot to pop some defensives or wasn't paying attention.
Now this last statement may be me being biased as we only have two tanks while healers and DPS are a bit more numerous so the mistakes they make are more spread out.

Anyway a general healthy attitude to fix such a problem is I think to encourage raiders to admit their mistakes and explain how to fix it or ask what they did wrong if they don't know it. In turn this can strengthen a strong bond where we guildies feel safe to show our weaknesses and admit our mistakes without repercussions.

The new way of dealing with new apllications can be improved. It takes quite a while to get inside the guild and get acces to Discord privileges. As a non-officer I don't know how it's actualy handled though. Maybe we should also look into recruiting some new members here and there, so our numbers are healthy when jumping into BfA.

This might be controversial - but raid signs with a cut off time. If 12/24 hours prior to raid there aren't enough signed you either call it or agree to do something else/pug. The cut off is probably the more extreme part of that, but it's been a thing in every guild I've raided with where they've never been bold enough to call it before making us wait half an hour after raid start. We all have smart phones, discord, and several days where we can highlight our availability - it seems only decent to let the other 10+ players you're working with know whether they can rely on you for the reset or not.

As an idea of how to manage signs, you create a channel with permissions where only moderators can react to a post. Using this you can have symbols representing confirmed - tue confirmed - thur, maybe - tue maybe - thur, and unavailable tue etc. you get the idea, or some other way that involves a sticky post being updated and the channel being cleared each reset to prevent clutter and off-topic shit posts. This avoids the creation of a separate website, using a forum, and whatever other shit. Discord can be the hub and guild members should have no excuse then.

Also no sign = no invite, even at the expense of a raid night. Super extreme but I've always wanted to be firm on that. 🖕

I think the guild has too many officers, as someone who sits as a guild member, it feels less like the oficers role is about organisation and more about the special club where the special group sit. I have no problem with any oficers, i just think it feels more like two separate group of friends instead of one big family with 2-3 voices of reason organising stuff.
