Q: Where is Daubney?

A: Daubney is a very interesting character because when you start you think "Hey this guy sucks" but if you think about it, you think about it, you see he's the only person to ever stand up to Apollyon and tell her no, then leave.  So he leaves and starts his own little thing, and through the mission he seems cowardly, but he's always ahead of you kicking ass.  By the end of it when Holden comes in, he seems like a coward but Holden is literally Apollyons executioner.  He spends the entire mission watching you kick ass and he knows you'll kick the seconds ass (and you do).  He's smart as hell.  He gets out of the blackstone legion, he's free to go, you get his sword, and leaves to get off into whatever he wants.  He goes south and does whatever they do down there.


Q: How did the group of Samurai in campaign all become friends, What did Valkyrie do to the samurai minion that spoke Japanese, and why is everyone so short?

A: They all live in the same territory, and they are all the same age, so they all grew up together.  Ayu is a richie upper class, so she's just having fun with the slummers.

Valkyrie kicked him in the head, to death.  Very calm kicking.

Historically, we've gotten a lot taller.  If you look at any of the super old cities that are preserved by volcanic eruption, Acrotyi, they had two story houses, ancient plumbing, and we know how high the doors are.  So with that, we know that old people used to be shorter.  Because of the cataclysm, there wasn't as much food, so everyone is short because they are old and they eat less and are malnourished.  Apollyon is 6'1.



Q: Does Apollyon have an actual name outside of her demonic title?  If not, did she ever have any working names?

A: She was born with a different name, she's from Ashfeld with a family farm.  When she joined the black legion with the other wardens, they all picked up a demonic name.  Besides Holden because he's like fuck that my names Holden.  She grew up in dirt and basically ereased her name from history because she was Apollyon and that's who she wanted to be.


Q: Share the the backstory of the berserker and the raider in story that got cut and replaced with RAIDER!!!!

A: There was a backstory, the TL:DR is they boned. It didn't end poorly or anything, Sivs just kinda out of it.  She's mad at everything, she's just a free spirit.  It's not raider's fault tho.

Q:  Why did we only get the single reference to centurion in the campaign, and was it relevant to the DLC?

A: The world of For Honor is pretty huge.  So there's a ton happening in our world, and there's a lot that I wanted to go through and because of the timeline of our game there's a ton I wanted to do more of with the Centurions, why the roman warriors were here, and why they are important.  But there's a lot I want to share but I can't because it hasn't really been wrote down or it was working project so I can't share it.

There's a lot more she wanted to go into, they kinda knew what the DLC characters were going to be so they mentioned it but due to time Ari didn't go into it.  There's a ton more she wants to share about Roman.



Q: Why is everyone still at war even though they tried peace at the end of the campaign?

A: They attempted peace, it didn't work.  Peace is selling, but who's buying?  Woo megadeth.


Q: Was the cataclysm a natural desaster or was it man made?

A: It was natrual.  I don't want to say too much because it hasn't been codified (wrote down) yet and I don't want to leave my thoughts out there for the next writer.
The world of For Honor is a bit like our world, but they had a massive world ending problem around the year 1100.  They had tornados, tsunamis, earthquakes...  So with that, you stop having art and science and medicine and trying to further develope your cities.  Instead you just worry about your food and how to get meat and "Do we even have animals?"

So it becames a thing of trying to find shelter and food.  Mostly just the knights suck at that, vikings built houses easily and Samuri still have huts.  If you think about the catacysm age and Apollyon's "1000 years of war"...  For Honor takes place in Present day.


Q: The lawbringers come from a so-called order.  Are they all lawbringers in this order, or are there peacekeepers in this order?  Are they a sub-section of this order?

A:  We know a little bit about the classes, but not a ton.  Lawbringers are Executioners, so they are basically police officers.  There's Secret armorers in their order, sworn to secrecy with lawbringers armor.


Q: Do the knights generally have a class that acts as the ruling class?

A: Not really.  Knights come from a large number of backgrounds, the Lawbringers are self-appointed, they just choose to do it themselves.  The closest thing you get to a leader is Apollyon, but you really just fit under whatever faction is currently protecting your land.


Q: Do the lawbringers have anyone in charge of them?

A: No.  They just kinda exist.  Occasionally they will meet up and discuss things, only to return to their own.


Q: What about the lord warden?

A: He had a hard time.  He just wanted to serve his master and learn things, but he ends up doing a bunch of horrible things.  He doesn't have a huge background story, he probably just left to go buy a farm and raise some cows.


Q: When is multiplayer?

A: 7 years after Apollyon dies.


Q: Particularly, Stone's origins.  Was he a free man, or just a criminal?  How did he rise up in the ranks of the Iron Legion?


A: Stone is kinda a unique guy, because he finds himself in the dumb position when you meet him.  The iron legion are trying to hold out for the last santuary, and everyone else is dead.  So it's not that he rose up the ranks of the iron legion, it's just that he's the last one alive.


Q: Was Mercy the story PK writen as a potential murderer/psycopath?

A: Yes.  Peacekeepers are kinda just crazy helpers who will kill you if you're going to die anyways, preventing you from bleeding out.  After a while that kinda gets to you, so Mercy just kinda goes insane.  So what if she just talks to herself all the time?  That fit well.  She's a bit of a pysosiopath and doesn't understand human emotions.


Q: Who do I gotta suck off to get Roman to say my name on stream?

A: Ari--Me.  Just don't tell Roman I said that.


Q: Why are Highlander and Shaman vikings?

A: Because they are conquered people.  Highlander is Scottish, and Shaman is Picct.  If you ever see a scott with a red beard or hair, it's because they're of Norse decent.  History lesson*  It's why the Highlander was Grudge in Grudge and Glory, because he begrudgingly follows Vikings.
