- *Name: Celestine Baines
- *Faction: Mage's Association.
- *Age: 18
- *Gender: Female
- *Appearance: [[http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=196577 Something in the water, or the powers carry the appearance? You decide!]] Whether she ties her hair up is determined by an arcane formula: firstly, it must be an odd-numbered month; and then only on prime-numbered days of that month. This results in an appearance of randomness whilst still sticking to a schedule.
- *Personality: Celestine is determined to prove that her father was a genius rather than a fool that got lucky, and to achieve that is driven, to the extent of considering her wellbeing entirely secondary. Because of this, what ''was'' a rather laid back girl has now become an almost masochistic in her determination magus. However, no matter how much she wants to win the war and prove her father was great, she's still too normal to be completely at home with all this entails. When it comes to actually hurting someone else, she can't help but hold back, and too often she looks at things from a normal perspective and forgets to include magecraft and the like in the equation.
- *Abilities: Her elemental affinity is the broadest possible as a consequence of the same reason that she has noticeable magical power in the first place, making Celestine an Average One. Also, that power? Rather than a handful of low quality Magic Circuits, as her family was headed towards, she has a Magic Core, earned by her father through events that cost him his life. Because of this, only her mother--a practically untrained magus with little interest in losing her daughter to the same art--was around to teach her anything, and for sixteen years her magical education almost stagnated. Though she recently approached the Mage's Association, and due to her potential had no difficulty in gaining a teacher, she has had little time to correct this. As such, her abilities are limited to:
- ** Basic Projection: With the incredibly eye for detail this requires not being her strong suit, Celestine's use for this is to create dense blocks of matter in place of more refined shielding. Her reluctance to seriously injure another prevents her from acknowledging that she could drop a really heavy weight onto someone's head.
- ** Ether Cannon: A spell only partially developed into its final form, as her teachers only know of the possibility through reputation. To ''actually'' complete it would require association with a certain Magician known to drive his pupils insane--so instead of a titanic laser on par with Noble Phantasms, Celestine has an extremely slow-to-cast spell not even on par with one of Medea's attacks, though any magus caught in the blast would be in extreme trouble.
- ** Self Reinforcement: Actually where Celestine's greatest potential currently lies, should she learn to develop this into Prana Burst. With her methodology being 'pour in as much as possible to make up for lack of finesse', it's only a matter of time and extreme need.
- *Bio: Celestine's life was set to be on a mundane path with simple awareness of the supernatural for sixteen years. That was when she found a few of her father's old notebooks and learned to what extent he had been willing to go to insure that his daughter was the best possible magus she could possibly be. Due to being raised in Japan, filial piety was extremely important to Celestine and, consequently, she sought out the Mage's Association without her mother's consent.\\
- Now, two years later, they have selected her for this task despite her lack of training for two reasons: firstly, a Master with this much power should certainly gain a powerful Servant; and secondly, they want to put her in a situation where Celestine is forced to use as much of her power as possible. Her teachers want to know the full scope of her potential.
- *Assets: Nada.
- Despite that last part of the bio section, I would much rather pair her with a ''weak'' Servant. FateHollowAtaraxia style, where the Master has to make up for it. Only hopefully without repeatedly dying. [lol]
