Firebrand/Patricia “Bella” Patterson – A rebellious youth, Firebrand isn't the first name Patricia adopted in defiance of her parents. A pact mage runecaster, Firebrand works her magic through the marks branded or cut into her skin, each one signifying a deal with a patron entity, most frequently demons and fae. She takes her witching name from the first such mark, a brand on the back of her left hand allowing her to work simple fire magic. She spends as much time as possible away from home, and is an authority on magical and supernatural personae of note passing through the city. She has a close friendship with Sister Silver, spending more time with her than the other members of the group spend together.

Sister Silver/Silver Birch of Loughborough Park – A city dryad, Silver Birch lay dormant and sleeping for most of her tree's life, separated from the magic of nature and the fae. It wasn't until Firebrand's magic accidentally came into contact with her roots that Silver Birch truly awoke. Innocent and well-meaning, Silver Birch was very receptive to friendship once the confusion of consciousness faded, and contrary to her species' nature Sister Silver is rather enchanted by modern humanity and the beauty of the city. She deeply values the close connections she has with the group, and uses a glamor charm to appear human and walk among humanity. Though she has little in the way of power, her unflagging moral support and restorative magic make her indispensable in a crisis situation.

The Knight of the Shining Blade/Barry Robertson – An average kind-hearted sixth form student who stumbled into a magical extradimensional church and took up the Blade of Shining Light and the responsibilities of the Knight of the Shining Blade that came with it. Barry is defined by his sense of responsibility, doing a lot of the housework on his grandmother's behalf and taking care of his younger sister. As well as the group, Barry also has his two best friends to confide in and to help him with superheroing. He spends most of his time juggling schoolwork and homelife with doing what he thinks superheroes are meant to do. This mostly involves patrolling at night and staying on the look out for damsels in distress. Despite his good intentions and the substantial power of his weapon and armour, Barry is still a novice and the group take him less seriously because of his evident inexperience.

Blitz Spirit/Jennifer Uhrmacher – Jenny takes her mechanical skill from her German father and her tenacious can-do attitude from her English mother. Her modified military flightsuit evokes a wartime feel, but is really equipped largely for disaster relief and rescue services. The grenade launchers slung under either arm are loaded with all manner of non-lethal ammunition, from flashbangs to knockout gas. Jenny is fastidious about maintaining both the workings and the appearance of her suit, decorated from jetboot to gasmask as it is with hand-painted lightning decals. She also maintains a constant supply of rations, first aid kids, and other emergency supplies in the compartments of her suit. Despite her eager nature, Jennifer has a tendency towards anxiety in social situations. Though she is the one that maintains contact between the group and arranges the majority of meetings, the fact that she is the only member with no connection to the supernatural makes her feel alienated.

Corpse/”John Doe” - It can be presumed that no-one knows Corpse as well as he knows himself, and even he doesn't have much to go on. His earliest memory is fuzzily regaining consciousness in an alley in Soho, with no memory of his original life or any undeath the preceded that moment. Stoic to a fault, his lack of identity didn't cause him much distress, and he drifted around London with no particular aim or goal for around a year before encountering The Knight of the Shining Blade. Though Corpse has no superpowers beyond the fact his undead body needs little sustenance and does not tire, he is resourceful and maintains a lot of connections to the city's seedy supernatural underbelly. He became a valuable resource in The Knight's solo career until the group got together and his help was required. Though Corpse shows little outward appreciation for the company, he arrives punctually and regularly to meetings, and is always on call. Whether this is out of preference or lack of anything better to do is one of the many things Corpse keeps to himself.
