» background:: born into a very supportive and happy family, marie grew up as a very happy child in the comfort of her apartment she lived in with her mom, dad, older brother, and dog in new york. going to school in new york was kind of hard for her as her school didn't have many asians, mostly whites, so people made fun of the way she looked, thus growing a bit insecure with her looks. eventually when her dad got a job offer at korea they were forced to move at the age of 11. her journey to korea wasn't so hard as she already knew the language by talking to her parents everyday in korean when in america.
