➝ THE FUTURE: mikyung with all her heart wants to explore the world and find ways to improve the lives around her. she wants to help children and even adults with their health, making sure everyone lives happy and healthy. she wants to work for red cross or even just as a normal nurse or just a physical therapist.

➝ PERSONALITY:
	→ mikyung is, for lack of a better term, stupid. now, normally people don't like to think things like that about themselves but she knows for a fact that she is indeed dumb. she acknowledges this fact and that is why she has basically given up on trying to understand what's going on in her classes other than those she actually cares about.she's tried literally everything, she's been tutored by all those available to her, she's researched good study tips and habits, and she even tried shady rituals she found online because why not? nothing has worked and she, like her peers, is convinced nothing will so there really is no point in trying anymore other than to avoid getting kicked out of school. it isn't like she's a bad kid, she's loved by everyone and has only one thing on her disciplinary record out of all her years of schooling and she's far from disrespectful. she's just clueless and clueless people tend to not do too great about passing classes. it also doesn't help that she has such a short attention span. she tries to listen to lectures and take notes, she really does, but if she doesn't care for the subject or isn't good at it, her mind wanders and then she's checking her insta or kkt under her desk and all the information goes in one ear then out of the other. it isn't really anyone's fault but her parents always blame the teachers or her clubs or even how many friends she has, labeling everything as a distraction which leads to her not being an amazing student like her sister or at the very least average. she's sometimes considered mean at first, given how blunt she is but really, her intentions are always good and those around her are convinced she doesn't have a single bad bone in her body. for one thing, she makes up for her lack of common sense in her determination towards whatever it is she loves, such as her clubs. give her a baby to take care of and you'll think she's a professional the way she handles them. she doesn't give up on anything (other than her grades that is) until she's able to do it with her eyes closed and one-handed, forwards and backwards. she will do what she promises, no matter what because she's a genuinely kind person (some think it's because she's far too naive but she doesn't like to think that way, mostly because it's true.)

	→ on the topic of her nativity, she is always getting herself into situations where she's just a step stool. for whatever reason, she is unable to say no to a request, no matter what it is. her cluelessness runs deeper than academics, she's clueless in literally everything, from relationships to simple jokes. in some ways, it's quite endearing, leading her to have many admirers but also worrying for anyone who cares for her as more than an acquaintance. people take advantage of her pretty regularly, convincing her to tasks such as clean up for them or carry their things, etc.. a part of her knows it isn't right and she has had her moments where she's bluntly told someone she isn't an errand girl but usually she's too distracted by something to even realize what's happening. in addition to that she isnt exactly the most confident person in the world. that's how most people see her but that isn't really her. she's, thanks to her parents, never sure if she's right or wrong about things like her career pursuance or just the types of clothes she prefers. she doesn't want people to make fun of her or hate her for her decisions so she often asks for many different opinions before deciding on something. her indecisiveness upsets her parents and even sometimes her friends which worries her to no end which is why she often jokes about it or whines to seem cute so that she won't lose those that are important to her. what doesn't help is how she things she's just being dramatic or that she has no right or reason to be the way she is given the fact that she had a nice upbringing. she often argues with herself over the matter and feels she has no one to talk to about it really so it just bottles up and she has to cry on her own in her room or the bathroom since her family don't understand anything that she likes or just belittle her and her efforts.

➝ BACKGROUND:
	→ mikyung had a pretty nice upbringing which is more than most can say. she had both her parents, even if the two aren't married anymore, and she was never without what she wanted but the real problem was that she never had anything other than 'tough love'. she lived with her father who wasn't the best at showing emotion which is why he often yelled or scolded her for the simplest of things. it wasn't uncommon which is why she never really said much about it but it often hurt her feelings or made her stress about not getting the highest grades or not being good enough at the sports she played. her father and mother were in an unspoken competition with their children, mikyung and her younger sister were always pinned against each other. mikyung had the best sport performance but chaeyeon always beat her academically or while chaeyeon was her student council president, mikyung was the secretary. it was always a never ending battle which was hard on the girls that had no problems with each other at all. they got along great and whenever mikyung visted her mom, they'd have the best time together as kids. eventually the stress of the competition drove them apart and they hardly even spoke once they were in secondary school. it wasn't easy for her, losing her sister nor was dealing with both of her harsh parents basically alone. she would always try her hardest to do good in school, she really did, but either it was her father saying she needed to try harder or it was her mother saying that she'd never be as smart as chaeyeon. mikyung never had her own life unless it was at school. there, it didn't matter to her peers if she was the top of her class or if she was better than her sister at everything, she was just no mikyung, the happy-go-lucky air head that everyone loved. her dad always tried to keep her in every club and every sport that her sister was in and her mother did the same on the other end. if mikyung decided she wanted to try baseball, chaeyeon tried baseball. if chaeyeon tried ballet, you bet your ass mikyung was in the same ballet class. it really didn't help her studies and yet her father always blamed it on mikyung being stupid or just that she didn't care enough.

	→ eventually, she tapped out. she wasn't an academic prodigy and she wasn't interested in what chaeyeon did or what chaeyeon wanted to be when she grew up because mikyung isnt chaeyeon. opting to switch the blame over to something else, her father blamed the school she attended and she moved. she ended up going through about 3 middle schools in just her last year. when high school started, she decided she'd be herself and not what her father wanted her to be. she took the clubs and classes that she was interested in as well as did the sports that she was good at. she talked to who she wanted to and dressed how she wanted to, even if it was difficult. her father was outraged. for a while, her sent her to live with her grandparents on jeju island who weren't much better than their son to her. her confidence that was already low enough didn't get much better with her own family telling her she'd never be a doctor or she wasn't smart enough be anything other than a waitress. she knew, or at least hoped, it was out of love and worry for her not reaching her full potential given how slow she was academically but it didn't make her grades improve so she didn't see why. after a year and a half with her grandparents, she was back with her dad at a new school, more private and more advanced school with no real sports for her or any clubs she was interested in. she was truly miserable. all the kids were stuck up and snotty, looking down on her for any reason they could find. she figured she had no choice but to get more into her studies and she figured that was her dad's plan. however, her grades didn't really improve by as much as her father wanted nor did she really change at all. she still wanted to be more than a sheltered little girl who could be molded into anything anyone wanted. eventually in her final year and as a final resort, she was forced to move and transfer to ilsan-gu and almost immediately fell in love with it. her academic performance in any classes other than those she likes is still just above passing but her father has hope she'll stop disappointing him, especially since her sister attends as well and is beating her out in everything.

➝ REPUTATION: people love her just about as much as they pity her, which is alot. she's known for her low grades and always asking to copy homework being that she always manages to forget they had any. she's blunt but people find that more endearing than having her just say things to make them happy. she's never not kind and she loves to share her dreams, even if people would doubt they'd happen given her grades but just seeing how hopeful she is makes them wish her the best. being that she's in charge of social media and advertising of school functions, she's known by literally everyone and is probably the most followed person on all her social media just because how open she is. she's a senior but even freshmen see her as a clueless 'smol' who needs to be protected at all costs.

SECTION 5 — EVERYONE HAS A CRUSH.

➝ RELATIONSHIP STATUS:
	→ beginning; they have no real relationship, mikyung probably doesn't know who he is but he definitely knows her and doesn't really like her like everyone else does. she's never even interacted with him, mostly because he doesn't make himself as known as she does nor does he even participate in anything. they're basically polar opposites but mikyung, even if she doesn't know him, would probably consider the two friends being that she considers everyone really to be a friend. the real problem would be how he sees her and he doesn't like her at all. she's too much for him, to be it in simple terms, and he doesn't agree with her on almost everything and the way she is just annoys him.
	→ middle; once the meet, mikyung of course wants to be close to him, mostly because he seems to not like her and she wants to find out why and correct it. she is basically his shadow and a far too loud one at that, just always speaking to whoever she sees in the hallway, asking personal questions, and getting to know him when he doesn't want her to. she includes him in things like her games or school events he otherwise wouldn't go to just so that the two could get along better even if it made it worse in a way. mikyung, whether she really knows it or not, has feelings for him which is the real reason it bothers her so much that he doesn't like her even as a friend and she drags him around. he, on the other hand, isn't sure how to feel about her. on one end, she's too annoying and has too much energy but on the other, she's genuine which is what most people aren't. she cares for him and his opinions which is new for him so he wants to like her, maybe even as more of a friend but they're so different.
 → end; both of them at this point are really soft for each other; mikyung taught him to not be so grouchy and actually open up to be around more people while he taught her to stop letting people bother her so much as well as helping her with her grades when she needs it even if his work is sloppy. they aren't really dating, just acknowledging they have feelings for each other. being her blunt self, mikyung tells how she feels but they both agree a relationship wouldn't be good for them until they know whether or not they'll even be together after their senior year. they act like a couple for the time being so they experience the things they won't get to when they leave. yoongi is still pretty vulgar and rude but that only makes his girl happier.


➝ CAN THEY WORK TOGETHER:
	→  those two togther would be disastrous. mikyung herself talks in class quite a bit anyway but annoying yoongi would get him riled and he'd say something rude then they'd argue and disrupt the class. it also doesn't help they disagree on literally everything and wouldn't do a single productive thing.

➝ RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM:
	→ they won't date, just because they know it wouldn't work out ultimately when the move away from each other. they know it's for the best so they stay as friends who are borderline dating. they act as a couple but they aren't an official one being that they're under the impression not naming then would make it hurt less when their ending comes.

➝ FIRST IMPRESSIONS [HER]:
	→ she didn't really have much of an impression other than he's really grumpy. she thought she was in the wrong though and tried to fix whatever it was she's done. she thought he was pretty good looking but way too intimidating to actually have anyone approach him, other than her of course. she figured she could probably help him with why he looked so upset because that's who she is.

➝ FIRST IMPRESSIONS [HIM]:
	→ he did not like her. at all. she was just too much in every single way possible. too loud, too social, too nosy, too pushy and way too clueless to have any kind if conversation with anyone like him who's pretty vulgar. he was way more annoyed than he probably should've been but it was hard not to be considering she kept pressing and pressing and pushing and pushing. he'd known how blunt she was from those he knows but he just didn't expect it to be how it was.

➝ HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM:
	→ she just tries to be more likeable around him. being that she doesn't really know or understand why he doesn't like her, she just tries everything for different responses which makes it worse because she ends up all over the place and they can't have meaningful conversations. she actually tried really hard and stalks him on social media to learn more to be better. she's kind of desperate around him in a way and it's obvious. she tries to not get upset but it's clear in her face that it gets to her when he says something rude.


➝ HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER:
	→ he's a bit cruel to her just to make his dislike known because she acts like she doesn't get it. it isn't like he's a horrible person and even she knows that but he doesn't want her popping around all the time which is why he blocked her on a her known sns accounts and he ignores her to the best of his ability at school even if that doesn't work out. in a way, he tries to help her out by teaching her things like how to say no and to avoid people just pushing her over but it usually comes out wrong. if you squint, you can see how awkward he really is around her because of how unused to the attention he is and he secretly likes seeing her fuss over him.

➝ RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA:
	→ mikyung goes to his home after school instead of her own and sometimes she'll wear his clothes just cause and he low-key  thinks it's hot
  → she drags him everywhere to have fun on 'totally not dates' and he acts like he hates it but he really doesn't

   → she is always singing kpop songs and doing the dances horribly but he brags about it to others all the time.
   → they argue about everything but in a cute way like she'll whine and call him pet names and he'll eventually cave in
   → they sometimes babysit together and yoongi likes how much she cares for kids and how she lights up around them
   → mikyung is always making time for him, even if she has to ditch a club or two
