    My name is Nova Scotlyn, some of you know that as my alias. It pains me and I cannot live with this on my conscience any longer so I have to respectfully back out of the movement, as hard as it is for me to do. I love activism and the idea of anti-corruption and working towards the greater good. It's all I ever wanted.

    I'm going to miss the movement terribly and I am deeply saddened but the movement is bigger than myself.

    During OpSock which I helped to organize and facilitate, John Anonninpo and myself collected donations, of both monetary value and donated items. I can't speak for the money John collected on, as I was not accountable for what he possessed, nor aware of exactly how much he collected, but I will say this: at the time I was working on OpSock with John Anonninpo, I was staying on his couch in his home.

    We collected monetary donations and each time money came in, I was told explicitly "You have to get cigarettes".

    As I said, I can only account for what I collected, as I do not know what or who John collected from but the amounts I collected are as follows:

    $40 from a generous couple towards OpSock and an additional $20 that was supposed to go towards bandannas I was going to purchase
    $40 towards bandannas (outside OpSock) that I was supposed to purchase bandannas with
    $60 towards OpSock

    That's a total of $160 I owe back to the people (and I know who you are). $100 of that is for OpSock alone. If you donated to John Anonninpo, I highly recommend seeking him out to get cash receipts because he has already told people he took some of the money, from what I've been told. He is also talking about me and trying to investigate who all donated to me in finances. He is trying to tarnish my name, but I have done enough for myself without his help. It's time to come clean.

    I will take the time to point out that while staying with John Anonninpo, (and this makes no excuse for my involvement whatsoever, I want to be clear that I am not justifying my contributions to the corruption of this important op) that I was not given a choice as to whether or not I was allowed to keep the money for it's intended purpose. I was made to feel like if I didn't get the cigarettes for he and I both to smoke, that I would have to find other arrangements for accommodations. In retrospect, I should have gone to a shelter. Essentially, I was homeless anyway.

    SOME of the money I collected towards the movement DID go to its intended purpose, but that's no matter. What matters to me is that NOT ALL the money went to its intended purpose, so as I tearfully write this letter to you the people, who I love and adore, all I can truly say is that I am so very sorry for my corruption, I am so very sorry that I didn't do what was right, and I fully intend on paying you all back within the next month. As I have just gotten a job with a placement agency, I will be taking my first check, or first two checks if need be (depending on the hours I work) and paying back to you, the people.

    I am sick to my stomach that I did what I did, even if I felt like it was to survive with a roof that was provided over my head. I should have gone to the shelter, I should have done what was right. But I didn't. So now I am trying to do the right thing and telling the truth and pay back the people that I collected on.

    Because of this, personal relationships have crumbled, my trust has crumbled. Trust in myself, and trust that was put in me by other citizens.

    Ever since this, I haven't really been myself at all.

    All I ever wanted to do was be an active activist, but I can't in good conscience, continue under these circumstances, and it hurts so much. I'd like to say if you ever need me for anything, I'll be around, but unfortunately I would understand if you didn't trust me for such. I am so so sorry.

    I will miss you, and I will miss the movement, but I know that I am not worthy of the movement.

    So after reading all that Rhetoric i suppose some would like to know the actual Truth about events and what happened

    Hi I am John Anonninpo
    And here is the truth.
    I really should not have to write this but for the sake of transparency I must.
    Having been involved with a number of Ops over the past few months as well as a number of events I have done nothing but support the true idea of Anonymous. However in doing so on the last OpXmas-OpSock. I uncovered some deceit by another fellow Anon. The theft of donation money as well as the theft of money that was supposed to go towards the sale of Bandana’s (which was something I had nothing to do with and never quite understood about) Before I go forward for complete and utter transparency I will give an account of how much donations I was given for OpSock
    I was given a total of $40.00.
    $20.00 dollars from a supporter and another $20.00 from the sales of 2 masks.
    Out of the 20.00 from the one supporter the items listed below were purchased
    5-deoderants
    5-toothbrushes
    5-toothpastes
    1-package of men’s disposable razors (which are in a box amongst some of the donations I still have here)
    1-box of sandwich bags
    The total came to $17.00 before the tax added. With tax added the total at purchase was $19.55
    Leaving 0.45 cents
    The second amount of money that I received was $20.00 for the sale of 2 masks that were to be shipped to New Brunswick. Unbeknown to me the postal rate was $14.27. This left $5.73 cents left in the kitty. This provided enough money to purchase Kraft Parcel wrap also from the post office at the price of $2.79 before taxes which came to 3.21 cents. This then left $2.52 in the kitty. This left the total amount of donations left at that point in the kitty at $2.97. There is still half a box of sandwich bags left as well as a roll of Kraft wrapping paper.
    All of this was witnessed by myself and also by the person that drove me to pick up all said items and also by Nova Scotlyn when I returned back to my premise’s . And the same information was passed on a number of times to other people.

    Now to get on with the reason behind me having to write this. Now that my part in this fiasco has been explained.
    Nova Scotlyn Aka Amanda Halliday was given an invitation to come stay at my home for a non-specified period of time with the idea that it would enable her to find work and get on her feet. Part of the reasoning at that time was because she felt from what my understanding was that she was cooped up in the area that she lived in and that she felt  her life was going no place so the offer was put out there. This would also enable her to participate more closely and be more involved with different ongoing Op’s as well as any supported rally’s and protests. For a while things seem to be going smoothly. When she first came here I gave her the choice of either sleeping on the coach or sleeping in my bed . At NO time did I make a statement to the regards of her sleeping with me. And from I have heard she obviously misconstrued the offer. And twisted it to comply with how her thinking works. While she was here she was given free reign of my home. Food was provided as were cigarette’s .I had no qualms at the initial startup of helping her out as she only had a limited amount of funds. As time wore on I found it increasingly hard to maintain a comfortable level of living. I was providing her with bus fare from my pocket I was providing everything from my pocket. Smokes, food, coffee everything. During this time   I realized that I did not have enough funds incoming to support 2 people ( I also have 4 furbabies to tend to) I tried a number of times to help her find work. Gave her the use of my laptop over time it became increasingly obvious to myself and a number of other people in my sphere of friends and associates that she was actually doing nothing and a number of my friends concerned with my well-being started asking questions. I rebuffed the questioning and never gave complete answers and made excuse’s to them about what exactly Amanda was doing. A number of them told me that I should ask her to leave. Being as it was winter time I was reluctant to do so. As time wore I noticed the eventual disrespect of my home by constantly having to clean up empty cans of soup and toss used tea bags in the garbage I was constantly cleaning up after her. Not once did she ask if she could do anything in the way of repayment for the food and smokes and use of my home. As is what most people do when they are an extended guest in someone’s home. I will not get into hygiene and sleeping patterns which over time made it difficult to actually keep my home in some semblance of cleanliness. Needless to say I was rather taken aback by her behaviour. My friends started telling me that they thought I was being taken advantage of  this was around the 1st week of December  into the 2nd week. At this point my home was becoming ever increasingly uncomfortable to me as I was spending more funds than what I had coming in. Near the end of Nov. A friend of mine came to me wanting a computer rebuilt. I did the rebuild and earned  some additional  funds which immediately went to buying smokes and food .It was at this point that OpXmas was out and we were gearing up for OpSock. Anonymous Maritimes 1st  public service Op. It was then decided to pole for donations to alleviate the financial burden on a number of us that were living on a budget.SO  the idea was to query supporters and other Anons for funds for articles such as toiletries and socks.( My exact received donations are further up on this Doxx). At this time Nova was starting to collect funds for bandana’s as well as funds for Opsock. The bandana idea I stayed away from as I did not want to be involved. As donations on her side of the started coming in I asked her once maybe twice how much she had brought in as I wanted transparency .It was at this time that one of the supporters started to ask about how much in Donations had come in I gave my totals and explained what had been purchased from mine. As far as money coming into Nova I really had no idea but she was not forthcoming with available amounts or totals I passed it off as she was still making collections as I provided her with bus fare a number of times to go meet supporters (this came from my own pocket).When the 1st amount of physical donations came in (IE: socks wool military) I enquired with the
    supporter if I may have 4 pairs as this was something I was looking for some time and I would make restitution  at some point during the Xmas op or another Op. She agreed and I thanked her .It was at this point where I asked Nova to take 10 dollars from the kitty to purchase a pack of smokes  to do us until I could get to the bank the next day to withdraw funds to purchase a carton. AT NO TIME WHILE SHE WAS HERE DID I EVER TELL HER THAT IF SHE STAYED UNDER MY ROOF DID SHE HAVE TO USE DONATION MONEY TO BUY CIGGERETTES THIS IS AN UTTER FALSEHOOD THAT SHE HAS BEEN SPREADING. And a number of people can attest to that fact was quite capable of providing my own or getting my smokes on credit. After the Op it became increasingly clear that I was being taken advantage of and I began to stop providing tobacco. It was also at this time when I was informed by Nova of a number of other things such as the damage done to a coffee set that was given to me by my mother (this now totally useless as 2 cups were smashed and a plate) I also found a mug smashed in the garbage which I was not informed of and a number of other things. At this point my living space was an utter pigstye because I essentially stopped picking up after her and focused on my own well-being. As time went by in December I was starting to feel some forms of depression because of the passing of my father and I essentially wanted to be alone as I also found out that my mother had other plans (this is for clarity).I decided I would like to be on my own to deal with the mourning process. I had no real idea what or where Nova was going. I decided to inform her that I would like to spend Christmas alone as I needed some time to sort out my emotions. I told her at that point and I Quote : “ I would like to spend my Christmas alone” No other discussion was made as I knew she was talking to her relatives and I had assumed she was making plans to visit them. It was at this point a friend of mine inquired whether she was going home for Christmas she said she had no way of getting there due to lack of funds. My friend at this point offered her funds to take a bus or see if she could find her a drive Nova refused. It was also at this time that my friend asked Nova if she was having any luck looking for work. Nova told her she really had not been looking that hard and had come to realize that she had over stayed her welcome in my home. It was at this point my friend offered her a job and could have her started working in a local daycare the next Monday she refused. (this was passed onto me later on in the day) This was also the time that I learned from Nova that a giftcard was coming to her in the mail. The next day I went out to pick up some groceries and to meet up with OneofUs Canada. I returned home to find Nova and her luggage gone with even so much as a thank you note or any form of correspondence. It was not much later that I learned she had removed her Nova Scotlyn account. Her gift card had showed up on a Tuesday of the next week .Still no contact with Nova and I had messaged her. It was at this time I decided that if I did not hear from her by Friday of that week that I would return the envelope and card to the sender which is the proper thing to do .I then informed Oneofus Canada of my intentions via a phone call it was at this point when he finally heard from Nova who called him at this point for clarity I will explain that when OneofUs Canada told Nova that I was going to send the mail back if I did not hear from her I WAS ON A 3 WAY CALL WITH THEM. To make sure he informed her and that there was a witness to the passing of the information.As they they were having an argument. At no time did I inform anyone else about returning her mail. As she tried to lead other people to believe. It was at this point I decided to just let it go she eventually sent me a message asking for a date and time and her stuff was left at the door for her to pick up.It about a week later that a fellow Anon messaged me and asked me where Nova was and if I had been in contact with her I said only long enough to leave her stuff where she could pick it up. This is when he told me that he had not heard from her and felt as if he was getting ripped off for the tune of $40.00 at the time I had no idea what was going on and told him I didn’t. It was then that I started  wondering about exactly how much was taken in and who else had been taken advantage of. I started to ask some questions and in the same process cleaning up the mess my apt was in after having someone stay here that knew nothing about respect. It is then that I came across a hand written note on my living room coffee table detailing amounts of money that had been accepted with individuals names checked off  I realised then that some deceit had been going on in my home and I was just a little disturbed by it and started asking questions. As the total only came out to $60.00 but it looked like a portion along the top of the note was missing. The note included a number of Anons names as well as supporters. It was not soon after that a pastebin was presented to me that Nova Scotlyn had written. Before she deleted her account she had posted it to a number of people as well as posting it Anonymous Maritimes. I had not seen it as I was out during the day helping a friend out. The information was passed onto me.I refute anything written in it about me as 99% of it is a pack of lies meant to deceive others in believing that I was involved in some way with her deceit and her reasoning as to why she did it. It is utter nonsense and I can tell you and so can many other Anons and supporters will tell you the same thing. I have been totally up front and honest in any involvement I have had in any of the goings on in the past month. I follow a code of sorts and have done so for many years a code of ethics, principle’s, morale’s , and ideals. Instilled in me by my father and by my spiritual belief’s.
    Essentially Nova Scotlyn  is trying to shift blame onto someone else for her own deception lie’s and theft. She has also in the past month attacked other Anons and Supporters to the point that some were coming to me to lodge their complaints. She since has been removed as an Admin of Anonymous Maritimes  and a number of other groups and pages. She is now currently spreading her lies and deception to other supporters and Anons and I have been asked a number of times about what has happened and what went on and I have been totally truthful with everyone. As part of the ideal of Anonymous is transparency and clarity. If I am guilty of anything it is not keeping a closer eye  and trusting someone that obviously has no real idea what ethics and principles. And is more than willing to throw disparages at someone else to try and save her own tarnished reputation which she has only done to herself. I once called you a Real Anon. I REGRET THAT STATEMENT as you are not .Albeit to be honest you do good work when you set out to do it when you did do it. You do have a talent. You are a master manipulator.

    The last time i saw Nova Scotlyn AKA Amanda Halliday was around the middle of Feb. Telling me she would pay me funds for staying at my home.I am not holding my breath. What i would like is a public Apology for the deceit  and the lies she has spoken in the above original pastebin that she wrote.
