I'm sorry I didn't get back sooner, but my work schedule kept me at the office for almost two weeks. I really wanted to see you before then though. I know how hard your job is, so I thought maybe we could talk about it later.

So after I got back home, I started to think about how I would approach the problem. The first thing that came into my mind was to ask you if you had any advice or suggestions.
