  7. A long time ago, Asber was a very different place. It was a simpler place, less of this fancy computerization and automated doodads and such. But it was also a bit more...prone to experimentation, as the Delta Augmentations were anything to go by. A small shop offering to make one's Pokemon...different was one of the old Asber's features, making them into Delta Pokemon. There are now very few of these Delta Pokemon left in Asber after the Great Destruction a time ago.
  8.
  9. L'Arc was one of the Pokemon given a Delta Type, and one of the last remaining, his Normal type stripped away and Draconic energy pumped into his body in its stead, altering his type-DNA permanently. This took a number of his normal moves away, replacing them with powerful weapons of the ancient Dragon type.
  10. Effect
  11.
  12. L'Arc-En-Ciel is a Dragon/Flying type. He gains and loses the following moves:
  13.
  14. - Baton Pass, Last Resort, Double-Edge, After You, Endeavour, Giga Impact, Natural Gift
  15.
  16. + Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Dance, Twister, Dragonbreath, Dual Chop

  32. Togekiss are known to congregate where there is joy and happiness, and L'Arc~En~Ciel likes to spread the joy and happiness he has seen with the world! So he gathers up all the happy thoughts he can and lets them burst forth in a concentrated energy form, resembling a beam of light in rainbow colours. The blast is so bright in colour that it'll light up any nearby darkness, and has a chance to confuse the foe with its bright light and colour.
  33.
  34. The move will fail if L'Arc~En~Ciel is feeling depressed or angry, and the confusion effect won't happen if the foe has no eyes or is blinded by sand, etc.

  47. Philharmonic was born with an oddly long tail - almost a foot long, nearly as long as he is tall! He was made fun of by his siblings for the abnormal body part, but he pressed on.As he started the battle, he learned that when he flicked his tail back and forth as chatot often do, his foes would be distracted by it. So be trained very hard with it, and now the tail constantly flicks back and forth in a distracting rhythm. The constant ticking will sometimes attract the attention of something attacking Philharmonic, and will miss or just not attack at all. he can even speed up the flicking to catch other Pokemon's attention even more, but it needs some effort, unlike the normal speed.
  48. Effect
  49.
  50. 5% additional chance that a Pokemon attacking Philharmonic will miss. If he speeds up the tail, it ups to a 10% chance, but Philharmonic takes 2% energy for each action it's sped up.

  66. Chatot memorise words and phrases quite well, and Philharmonic is no exception. In fact, most of his kind are quite good at using sound to battle. But Philharmonic has developed a way to play with sound that no other of his kind can. He's very familiar with pitch and melody, able to string words he knows together with a soothing melody and appropriate pitch to make a song. But he can make more than just sweet and simple songs.
  67.
  68. First, he recalls as many of the sounds he's heard in his life as he can and regurgitates them backwards with a random volume and pitch, fluctuating from soft and sweet to loud and off-key. This screaming deafens all who hear it, and confusing all those in range to hear it by making them fly into a frenzy at the offending sound, and the exertion of blasting so much noise confuses Philharmonic out of fatigue. Those who hear the sound are Deafened for three actions, and cannot hear anything but a ringing in their ears for the duration. Pokemon with more sensitive ears may run and hide from the sound.
  69.
  70. A Deafened Pokemon cannot hear very well, so sound-based attacks won't have any effect of the Pokemon. It will be slightly easier to sneak up on them as well, as they wouldn't hear their attacker coming.
  71. Effect
  72.
  73. Deafens and confuses targets; confuses Phil

  77.
  78. [Yzma] Kecleon (Female) <Colour Change>
  79. Body Modification: Variations Within a Type
  80.
  81. Kecleon are known for their ability Colour Change - the possibility to be any type. Some Kecleon see this as a fun game, or a minor inconvenience during battle, being easy to exploit. Yzma, however, as a mature Kecleon, has spent a good deal of her life trying out all the different types the world has to offer, becoming just as in tune with them as her natural Normal Type. So whenever her ability kicks in, making her a different type, some special things happen...
  82.
  83. Effects: When Yzma is a type other than Normal, and uses the attacks Sleep Talk, Metronome, or Hidden Power, they will always match her type. For example, if she were to be a Fire type and use Metronome, it will always come up with Fire-Type attacks, and the same for Sleep Talk. If she cannot use an attack of her Type (for example, Sleep Talk as a Dragon type), it will default to being Normal-typed. Her Hidden Power type will always match her current type. However, she will not have STAB bonus to any attacks, except for her regular Normal type.

  85.
  86. [Big Daddy] Excadrill (Male) <Sand Rush>
  87. Body Modification: Big Boned
  88.
  89. Excadrill are normally only a little over two feet tall, and weigh a little less than 90 pounds. Big Daddy, however, as fitting his name, is...abnormally large for his kind. His trainer has many theories as to why this is - freak accident involving his evolution, the fact that there is an...abnormal number of Rhyperior in his family line, and other things. But whatever the reason, Big Daddy is, no ifs ands or buts, massive.
  90.
  91. Effects: He stands at 8'0" tall and 350 lbs, four times the average size - and he can use the attack Heavy Slam as well. But his size comes at a price - Big Daddy has a permanent -1 to his Speed, which cannot be transferred or dispelled, making him able to fall to effectively -7 Speed, and can only rise to +5. He also cannot use Rapid Spin.
  92.
  93. --------------------
  94.
  95. [Sunnyside] Volcarona (female) <Flame Body Drought>
  96. Body Modification: Set Fire to the Sky
  97.
  98. Volcarona are powerful creatures, the scales shed from their wings setting raging seas of fire as they battle, and their flames bright enough to replace the sun. They defy the stigma that follows the Bug type, by calling forth the brilliant, blinding corona of flame sired by the Sun.
  99.
  100. But few realize their true potential. Few manage to survive past their larval form, and even of those that do, most do not often uncover true power.
  101.
  102. But Sunnyside has. She knew, even as a tiny Larvesta, that she was destined for power. Her Partner, who had been the first face she saw upon her hatching, the one who raised her carefully, had told her so. He had shown her pictures of the old paintings in books, told her the stories his friends from Unova had told him of the fire that pumped through her veins.
  103.
  104. He timed her evolution well, to grant her this power - she was taken to a rocky plateau just outside of Asber, and given the last word needed to trigger her evolution... just as the Moon crossed of the Sun, in a partial Eclipse. As her blazing wings broke forth from the shell of her former, weak, self, Sunnyside knew she had finally inherited the power her Partner spoke of. The flaming dust lit the sky, until finally the moon passed by on its heavenly journey, revealing the Sun again.
  105.
  106. But Sunnyside was forever changed, a Guardian of the Sun - her mere presence causes the Sun to burn brightly, and she can harness its sacred power. But in exchange, darkness and rain weakens her body.
  107.
  108. Effects: Sunnyside's ability becomes Drought, and she can use the attack Sacred Fire. But, if it is dark or raining, she cannot use the attack, and her Defence and Special Defence are both lowered by one stage each. She takes 1% damage/action in Rain.
  109.
  110. -------------
  111.
  112. [Raviel] Zorua (Male) <Illusion>
  113. Body Modification: Zydrate Comes in a Little Black Fox
  114.
  115. A while ago, a number of Pokemon were bred and genetically engineered for a special purpose - as a helper Pokemon to doctors, intended as a living being capable of dispensing powerful painkillers. Raviel was not one of this Pokemon. At least not at first - a black market attempt to do the same thing, but for a different purpose soon sprung up - said painkiller was extremely addictive as a street drug. The Zorua family was chosen due to its ability to disguise itself, and bearing sharp claws and teeth. And so Raviel was born.
  116.
  117. Effects: His body produces the powerful painkiller Zydrate in his jaws and claws, and it constantly oozes forth. This has interesting effects in battle - the pain-dulling effect makes him unable to cause flinching, since a Pokemon attacked with his claws or teeth won't feel it as well. However, this lets him hit harder and deeper without retaliation, boosting attacks made that way by 1% Damage. In addition, after a Pokemon has been hit with an attack this way, the Zydrate has entered their system and its working its effects - the Pokemon will find itself drawn to Raviel subconsciously, looking for a chance to get more in their body, increasing Raviel's accuracy against them by 5%. This does not stack on the same Pokemon, and can be purged from the body via Refresh or similar. This effect in its entirety does not affect Poison-typed Pokemon, or ones with Immunity.
  118.
  119. ----------
  120.
  121. [Marva] Elgyem (Female) <Synchronize>
  122. Signature Move: Neuralyzer
  123.
  124. Elgyem's evolutionary family is known to be able to modify the memories of people and Pokemon at will, to remove any recollection of having seen this elusive species. Marva, however, has thought of a much better application of this ability when in battle - wipe the foe's mind temporarily of the memory of past battles, making them fight as if they had never battled at all before.
  125.
  126. To do this, she uses her psychic power to compel the foe to look at her hand, which then unleashes a pulse of cyan light, wiping the foe's memories for a short time. The target must be able to see her, and as such a blind Pokemon will not be effected.
  127.
  128. Type: Psychic / Non-Damaging / Accuracy: 95% / Target: One Pokemon / Energy: 6% / Duration: One action for use, effects last 3 rounds.
  129. Effects: Target looses all memory of past battles for 3 rounds. This will cause them to loose all EXP/Evolution bonuses to damage output (depending on ref scale) for that time, causing the ref damage scale to treat them as a first-stage Pokemon of their evolutionary line with 0 EXP. This does not permanently remove EXP or evolution. The target must be able to see her, and as such a blind Pokemon will not be effected.
  130. Usage Gap: Three rounds after effects end.
