- Man And Nature; House And Care
- When a man loves a woman to her death
- And he cares until her dying breath
- There you may hear it say
- The wind when not kept at bay
- For it may grow more furious indeed
- "I morn as I gather my speed"
- Rain may come down to trickle then pour
- Showing, in favor of the loss of life, sadness and nothing more
- But the wind will howl and shriek afright
- (This is what happened that very night)
- When I, the man, lost my wife
- And was brought in tears to end my own life
- But this was not to be
- I really loved my life you see
- That's why I must let it all pass
- Laying, crying, all in a black mass
- Even the shadows seemed to care
- They came to hide me there
- (For light from a candle had lit my room)
- And I felt incased in my own kimd of doom
- I felt I must cry blood through dry eyes
- Pain held inside tells me all its lies
- How I couldn't do anything for the woman I love
- For now I'm alone as her soul went above
- "Let my mind be free of this pain!"
- Thunder crashed as if nature had turned insane
- My life felt ever so still
- Who knows, but the wind, any thrill
- Darkness, dark bitter cold, and now I don't move
- If I got what I wanted, what would it prove?
- For now my heart is stopped along with the tears
- The weather heeding all my fears
- Now two are dead, they passed away
- During the night, before the light of day
- So man is now gone out with his candle light
- And the house has become a dilapidated sight
