miyun is not who she appears; her heart could easily be described as ice right down to the core; due to her lack of strength, miyun has been forced to rely on her cunning to grow stronger in a world as fucked as ours, and it's all too easy when you have a gift for manipulation.

she sometimes, to her anger, finds it difficult to sever bonds with people she must betray, and some night have been spent cursing her weakness as she sobs for those who have already fallen, those who have yet to fall, and above all, what she has become. she's not the sort of person to throw away a friend unless it's absolutely necessary to ensure her survival, however.

though she has been lying her entire life, she isn't half as good as she thinks—her demeaner, her mask, has cracks, courtesy of the personality disorder she had acquired due to years of living as something she is not, and occasionally one might catch a glimpse of the traitorous stranger underneath—the wolf disguised in sheeps clothing.

» background:
a car crash killed miyun's parents when she was twelve years old, and her brother, who was sixteen at the time, decided to deal with grief at 3am in the morning with a bottle of soju in one hand and an empty syringe in the other. miyun attended therapy for a whole three years after the funeral, in which she found that faked smiles and white lies felt a whole lot better than the truth; her brother kept her awake at night with his raw screaming when the drugs were too much, and her grandmother was too caught up in her own grief to give a shit. her only escape was climbing as high as she could get (a skill she has mastered as a small child) and hide in the large apple tree at the bottom of her garden for it all to stop. it never did.
miyun eventually started stealing things to provide for the family at home as her brother was wasting away and her grandmother was too old to work. during those years, she excelled at what she did.
however, miyun soon found out that her lies, which she had cultivated so well over the years, came in handy at landing her good grades at school and high-ranking jobs at work. all she had to do, she realised, was smile, and then the world belonged to her.

studying law at yonsei university, seoul. she has a small job at a clothing store called quirk. although she is now surrounded with friends for personal gain, none know about the personality disorder she has been suffering from since she was seventeen. she regularly meets with close friends to go rock climbing or other such social activities.

    > the car they are all driving in spins out of control and rams into the side of the bridge overlooking a river. the brick gives way and the car plummets into the deep river. the windows start to crack from the pressure of the water, and the car is slowly filling with water. queenie has been injured by the fall and somebody has to help her. miyun starts to hyperventilate a bit, both because of her fear of water and the fact that she's useless to help queenie. so when everyone prepares themselves to kick out the windows and get out, one of the group (of your choice) realise miyun is hyperventilating and can't swim, and has her grab onto their waist as they swim upwards together. this incident could also change miyun's outlook on the group.
    > miyun is put in a situation where she is isolated from the rest of the group apart from one injured person. she, at first, realises that she could leave them and save herself, and goes to do just that, plotting out that she'll just tell everyone they died, but after stopping to hear their weak breaths she sighs and decides she'll help them.
