- Thats a good question! Most new users of aimware dont know where to put their configs for v5 or v4! So youre not alone! But dont worry I know alot about aimware and its goodies! So, open your file explorer and goto the bar at the top and type %appdata% So youre now in "Appdata > Roaming", Now you want to find the folder with the random string of letters like this (iymFgtHXmWlCvWvrKsvT) open that folder! After you open that folder, you should have the v4 and v5 cfg locations! Open your v5 folder (should be empty if you opened it for the first time) now place your v5 config in to the folder! Now thats left is remember which folder is which and now open your aimware v5 client and load!
