  1. This is just a brief overview on how I use Bitcoins.
  2.
  3. Where do I buy my Bitcoins?
  4. Bitcoin Exchange - Circle & Coinbase are the main ones. I use both and have both of their apps on my phone. When you setup your account, you will need to provide them your personal information (govt id, address, phone#, last 4 digits of SS#, and a selfie). I linked my bank account as a deposit/withdrawal method. If you want to receive your Bitcoins instantly, you will need to link a credit/debit card as a back-up method. They will advance you Bitcoins instantly and then take the money out your bank account.
  5.
  6. What is a Bitcoin wallet?
  7. It's wallet that holds your Bitcoin. You can use a wallet to send and receive Bitcoin. Circle & Coinbase are a place where you can buy/ sell Bitcoins for USD. You can also leave your bitcoins there because it has a wallet feature, but I always send my Bitcoins to my own wallet that I setup on Blockchain.info.
  8.
  9. Why do I use Blockchain.info as my wallet- simple easy mobile phone/web based wallet. I have their app on my phone. When you create your own wallet on Blockchain, you need to save your LONG ASS login ID information and recovery words or you are fuked, and you will lose all of your Bitcoins. Another reason why I use Blockchain, they allow transactions with gambling sites.
  10.
  11. Where do I sell my Bitcoins for USD?
  12. I prefer to use Circle when I want to exchange my Bitcoins for USD. Circle values Bitcoins slightly more than Coinbase.
  13.
  14. How do I deposit using Bitcoin on those gambling sites?
  15. 1. Initiate the Bitcoin deposit with the gambling site. You want to reduce the price fluctuations with Bitcoins and lock in a rate. Usually, they will tell you exactly how many Bitcoins to send to their Bitcoin address.
  16. 2. Remember the instant access of Bitcoin from Circle/Coinbase? You can instantly receive the amount you need since you successfully followed that step.
  17. 3. I send those Bitcoins from Circle/Coinbase to my Blockchain wallet
  18. 4. From my Blockchain wallet, I send those Bitcoins to the gambling site's Bitcoin address.
  19.
  20. Remember:
  21. Deposit: Bank Account -> Circle/Coinbase -> Blockchain -> Gambling Site
  22. Withdraw: Gambling Site -> Blockchain -> Circle -> Bank Account
  23.
  24. Tips:
  25. -Never send the Bitcoins directly to the gambling site (i.e Circle/Coinbase <--> Gambling Site). Always use the middle-man wallet.
  26. -Even though you use the middle-man wallet, Circle/Coinbase may email you asking you "where are these Bitcoins coming from?" Do not say from it comes from the gambling sites. Circle/Coinbase do not allow transactions with gambling sites, read their T&C!
  27. -Always generate a new Bitcoin address, when sending/receiving. Try not to re-use Bitcoin addresses.
  28. -I recommend using the default sending speed on Blockchain. It only costs a few pennies, and you get priority on your Bitcoins being sent.
  29. -Don't gambool if you can't afford it.
