The Jenna Marbles image incident has left me uncomfortable with the currently arbitrary nature of our moderator policy. The image was not deliberately hostile nor insulting to anyone. From my perspective, it looks like we took administrative steps to appease tinuviel as she contorted logic in any way possible to justify her own offense being actionable.

I can't abide this. In fact, I find the train of thought dangerous, but that's a different discussion.

I love working for you guys. I want to help make a community where people can play go and have fun. I do not believe that becoming the thought police is a good way to achieve that goal. If we are going to hold the decision about that user image as precedent for future decisions then I will tender my resignation, rather than continue to bang my head against the wall.

This is not an ultimatum (though I am willing to admit that it sure as hell feels like one). If you believe this course of moderation is the best path forward for OGS, I will not try to convince you otherwise.

I apologize for causing drama, which I hate more than anything, but I have felt uneasy since the decision was made.
