HCBB Pitching Guide

I got a lot of messages of people asking me to help them with pitching so I hope this helps out people! :) ShadowHand65
- The main issue with pitching is making sure the batter doesn't hit the ball but if your pitches are predictable they are going to know what's going to come next or when they have seen a the same ball multiple times before there not going to swing, to counter this you can throw a strike near with the same type of pitch the ball was tricking them and making them confused, if they have seen a strike multiple times they are going to be able to smack it so DON'T BE PREDICTABLE and DON'T HAVE A PATTERN, or you can use what I use using multiple patterns when the batting rotation goes around having a set of patterns, 1,2,3,4 then if you run out reuse the patterns in a odd order if they catch on to 1,3,2,4 or 4, 3 , 1, 2 etc. It's better not to have a pattern in the first place but this is sometimes what many good pitchers do when they already went into the habit of making a pattern.
- "WHAT ARE GOOD PITCHES?" is what I get a lot. I can't answer this because you should have your own style and pitches you think work personally, it's a batters game so your going to let up home runs but if you notices consistently letting up homers either your patterns/pitches suck, or your going against great batters, here is a rule of thumb if your era is above 6 your doing something wrong, if your era is below 4, your doing something right, if your era is below 2 KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING. It really takes time to develop good pitches that WORK NOT a "Chart" showing you what pitches are good... if there is one there already known. (ACE COW LOOKING AT YOU...) But if people are smacking your pitches your either, PREDICTABLE, Throwing near the Middle, OBVIOUS BALLS, or TO MANY BALLS.
- A good ball should be one that makes the batter either, Hesitate and swing or  look really juicy (but not to juicy). Strikes in this game are a bit risky since batters can slam them. But if you make the batter think it should work better for you. also... don't be fooled when a batter fake AFK first pitch throw a ball just in case a lot of shitty batters do this.
- Don't throw pitches you know almost every other pitcher uses because there known and they have seen it before IE. High Fastball fast, Fastball Corners.
- No guide should have specific pitches for you to use that would be stupid.... What you use should be off experiences you have had before NOT IN PUBLIC! Public games can give pitchers false hope BP with a higher skilled batter then you to practice your pitching NOT a simple challenge, or else when the real challenge comes in a game your going to get smacked. -This guide is to give you the OUTLINE of what you should throw not specific pitches and this really breaks it down so you you have a good amount of things to choose from like a filter.
