38. Following the events of Batman Arkham City Harley Quinn had gone underground for two weeks recruiting mercenaries from penguins crew, also recruiting Arkham Asylam prisoners from two faces crew and also taking over Jokers spot as leading commander for all of the joker clan goons. Following the recruiting of all the goons, some cops for the GCPD go missing in the industrial district which belongs to Harley. Batman tries to save the missing cops but is captured trying to save comissioner Gordon. Now it's up to Robin to save Batman.
 39. Two weeks following the events of Batman: Arkham City, several GCPD officers suddenly go missing. The culprit seems to be Harley Quinn, having escaped custody and undergone extreme mental stress following her recent loss. She has now taken over the industrial district of the old Arkham City site, which Batman infiltrates and ultimately gets himself captured so Robin will come to his rescue, and together, they can stop Harley and save the cops before the night is over.
 40. Rocksteady Studios came out of absolutely nowhere with Batman Arkham Asylum two years ago. A game that took many by surprise including myself. Now we've returned to Gotham City to fight crime and once again stop Joker and his sidekick Harley Quinn from completing their sinister plans. We had high expectations for the second installment and rightfully so, because the last title kicked ass.

The catwoman adds a couple of her own unique gadgets a whole new way to traverse the tall buildings of Arkham City. Using her whip, she jumps around like a cat, which surely comes to no surprise, and a sequence of well-timed jumps will make her move smoothly across walls and obstacles.

Read more: http://gamingirl.com/xbox-360/xbox-360-news/batman-arkham-city/
 41. With Arkham Island shut down, something needs to be done with Gotham's deadly and dangerous so part of the city is sealed off and given over to Hugo Strange to turn it into a prison city. Bruce Wayne is speaking outside of the walls when he is grabbed and taken hostage in the city. Escaping the Penguin, Wayne calls in his equipment and, as Batman, sets out to get to the bottom of what is really going on inside Arkham City – a task not made easy by the sheer number of those who would do him harm! Having really enjoyed Arkham Asylum I (like everyone) was looking forward to this game and I picked it up a few months after release and got back into the world without a hitch. The story this time round is a bit more expansive but it is still reasonably episodic as one would expect. That said I still found that it had a good flow to it and I enjoyed following the story so much that I focused on it rather than getting distracted by side missions etc. The cut-scenes frame it all well and are very well done – merging with the game play well and being of good length so that they feel like part of the game, rather than something one has to sit through before continuing the game. The story has plenty of action, plenty of dramatic twists and turns and generally I liked how very cinematic and engaging it was.

When i did get distracted by side-quests, I was a little disappointed by what I found because there are few that play as part of the game but mostly the "life" in the game is busy-work. Perhaps felt this way because my previous game was Skyrim (where I don't think the quests ever stop) but with Batman I started collecting Riddler trophies and solving the really easy puzzles before asking myself why I was doing it – I wasn't really enjoying it, it was just something to do – and sadly this is a lot of the story mode once the story is finished. The various extra modes are OK but they get samey after a while – I like to pick them up for a minute but again I was happy not to bother too. However, the story itself is what I was here for and it did deliver and it gave me a good chunk of time all of which i enjoyed.

Graphically the game looks great throughout – the cut scenes are the best, but to be honest the rest of the game matches it. The mechanics of controlling Batman are really good – easy enough to get the hang of the basics without frustration but yet with enough to them so that they do get better as you master them. The variety in gadgets and button combos is perhaps a little overwhelming – in combat it works because you have options but with the gadgets at times clearing an area involves too much swapping between gadgets to progress through one thing after another (blow up a wall, energise a motor, grapple a hook etc). It isn't ever a massive deal but it can be an irritant at times.

Overall though I have nothing but minor quibbles compared to the major enjoyment I had from the game. The story is engaging and enjoyable and what it doesn't really deliver in side missions it does deliver in great gameplay and fun.

 43. Wonder Tower can be accessed, but not the same way. In order to reach it, you have to get up the tower as high as possible, then start launching freeze grenades until Batman starts rising in the air. Soon, you'll be prompted to use the grapnel, grapple up to one of the gargoyles and you can go inside. There's nothing in there, not even Strange's corpse. His little office cannot be accessed. The Clown Prince of Crime meets his demise after the final battle with Clayface.Hugo Strange, Talia al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul (though his body goes missing), Solomon Grundy, Clayface and The Joker, plus hundreds of inmates in Protocol 10 a5c7b9f00b
