Fuck you Aubrey, nobody likes you

Alexithymiaa: -Steph stood in the kitchen with her crutch underneath her arm as she pulled a tray of hot brownies from the oven. Setting them down on top of the stove, she turned to grab a knife, immediately beginning to slice them before they cooled so they would be easy to get out of the pan and onto a plate to bring with them back to the hospital. Like clockwork, Nugget was at her feet waiting for some. So was Harvey. At least they're consistent. "No boys. No brownies for you."-
Covet: Felix was leaning on the counter smelling the brownies, reaching over to try and grab one though they just came out. " So how long before this broad is supposed to be here?" Felix asked her looking over at the pets, "Hey, all of you out of the kitchen, right now" he said pointing with a snap. Nugget was the only one who listened though, for a second then he was right back in there again.
Alexithymiaa: -Yeah Harvey doesnt listen. Fuck you Felix, there's food here. "Now..." She said with a grumbled voice, nudging the pan out of Felix's reach because THEY WERENT COOL YET. "They're hot. You need to wait. And you have to share them with Cadence."-
Covet: "Why do I always to wait.. and share?!" He said with a grumble. "Well she's late... and this annoys me, because I know how much you didn't want to have to deal with her, let alone leave Cadence. " Felix said with a grumble.
Alexithymiaa: "You don't want to wait? Fine. Eat one now and tell me how your mouth feels. That's your choice." She shifted to lean on the counter, easing her weight off her feet a little. "I was annoyed before she was late. Now I'm pissed." // Almost like clockwork, Aubrey climbed out of the sleek black car dropping her off, making her way up to the front door to ring the bell so she could proceed to stand on the front porch in her jeans and tank top.-
Covet: Felix rolled his eyes and kept his hands to himself, because she had warned him, but he was still grumpy about it. " Well she better show up soon, because otherwise we're going back to the hospital and she can do it as is." He turned towards the door when the bell was rang. "I'll get it."Felix walked over to the door and opened it up. "Hey, you made it. we wre getting concerned."
Alexithymiaa: -Steph glared over at Aubrey the second Felix opened the door, not giving two fucks about hiding her obvious disdain. "I wouldn't say concerned. I wasn't concerned. I was irritated you were being unprofessional by not showing up on time." She eased off the counter and limped with her crutch in the direction of the piano. "Let's just get this over with. Sit down and I'll get my book." She spoke as she started for the office. She was intentionally unprepared out of spite. // Aubrey smiled at Felix, stepping into the house and looking down at the dogs who also greeted her at the door. "Hi Penny. And who's this?" She asked as she scratched Nugget's head before leaning up and looking at Steph. "Sorry, there was traffic. How have you been? What happened to your leg?"-
Covet: Felix closed the door and looked down at the dogs, "That's Nuget." He said reaching down toget his dog when she was done petting him, so that he could take him into the kitchen. He turned around waiting for the short response from Steph to Aubrey. He was amused at the very least.
Alexithymiaa: "None of your business." She said hastily, returning in a minute with her notebook in her hand. She dropped heavily down onto the piano stool, opening her notebook to the page with the song on it and setting it on the stand. "The sooner we start, the sooner you can leave. What key did you want it in?" // Aubrey waded over to the piano, crossing her arms over her chest. "Look, I get that you hate me, but we both need to get this done so we're stuck with each other. I didnt want to work with you any more than you wanted to work with me."-
Covet: Felix had to resist making cat noises between the two of them. " We have places to be tonight, so like she said, the sooner the better."
Alexithymiaa: "You didnt want to work with me? That's funny because I could have just as easily made changes to the song and sent them to you. You didnt have to be here so if you're itching to leave, there's the door." She said, gesturing to her left. When she heard Felix chime in, she nodded. "Exactly. I just find it so funny you don't want to work with me. You didnt have a problem singing and making money off my songs before. Or did you forget that your biggest hit belongs to me? I'm sure you did considering I haven't seen a cent from that one." // "I don't work through a computer screen." She said through her teeth, getting a little closer to get in Steph's face because Aubrey is a fiesta latina who doesnt take shit from anyone. "You want royalties from that? Call my lawyer. You're not the first person to claim something of mine belongs to them. Next you're going to say I owe Bryan money because I wrote Tell Me You Love me about him. Which... I would, pending he drops whatsherface. I don't really know who he's kidding with that."-

Covet: Felix furrowed his brow, "Woah.. sweetie, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself. Just because you're Miss thang... or something right now in celeb world, but let me be the first to break it to you, that fame isn't everything. You don't get to bitch about who he's with, when you're the one who left him at the altar. Just. Saying." Felix said as he stood there holding Nugget, petting him.
Alexithymiaa: (I had a mr evil moment with Felix just stroking Nugget in his arms)

Alexithymiaa: "Excuse me?" Steph gawked, shoving up to her feet to teeter on her left leg. She let Felix have his go because all of that was correct. "Right. You ran out on him. If you hadnt decided you were too good for him, you probably would be together right now. But you're the asshole that left MY brother at the altar. So don't even begin to pretend like you didnt ask for that shit yourself. And his fiance makes him happier than you EVER did." Her hands came out in front of her, shoving Aubrey hard in the chest. "So back the fuck off." // Aubrey rolled her eyes dramatically, shaking her head. "I never said fame is everything. People make mistakes. It happens, but everyone knows she's just a rebound from me that went on too long. He'll never be complete with her. He's a creative genius and what is she? She's nothing like him. I think I know him well enough to know that. We were going to have a baby!" She yelled back, shoving Steph backwards to force her back onto the stool. "Don't make me tell Liz I'm out on this song because then guess what happens? You're out of a job. Don't test me."-
Covet: "Wow... I'm offended on his behalf. I didn't know you were such an ablist." Felix said raising an eyebrow. "Maybe them not being anything alike is what makes it work for them. Babies don't fix broken relationships. But you're too caught up in yourself to see that." Felix shook his head, "I don't think Liz is the person to be worried about here. She's not the problem. You should consider yourself lucky to work with Steph, Liz knows and sees her potential. The way I see it, it's them doing you a favor."
Alexithymiaa: -She stumbled back onto her stool, clenching her jaw as she stared up at Aubrey through red haze. When Aubrey basically threatened her job, she was done. She lunged forward, throwing her weight into her right hook and smashing her fist across Aubrey's face. "Fuck you!" She screamed at her, unable to really throw her better fighting moves since she couldn't kick right now. // "We weren't a broken relationship, but thanks for your concern." She said with such sarcasm, the words were praactically dripping. Her head rocked to the side when Steph punched her, slowly bringing her hand to her mouth to wipe the blood now coming from her lip. She threw herself at Steph, tackling her backwards and pulling her arm back to throw a punch of her own at Steph's face.-
Covet: Felix sighed and made hsi way over to the girls and went about pulling them a part. "Hey.... You... need to calm down... both of you. First off if it wasn't broken, you wouldn't have pulled the whole runaway bride act. So you need to sit the fuck down and start being honest with yourself, and stop blaming the rest of the world for the shit you caused. But to take it out on Steph, who despite her very valid irritation with you, is still trying to work with you on this." Felix told her then turned to Steph, "I know she's your least favorite person right now, but I need you to try and keep your hands to yourself, because the last thing you want is another assault charge." He said leaning in to give her a kiss.
Alexithymiaa: -She took a few deep breaths when Felix pulled them apart, staring harshly at Aubrey despite feeling her face beginning to swell a little. "I don't need this, and I don't need you. The best thing you ever did for my family was leave. Try it again." She said, pointing to the door. // Aubrey wiped the blood from her face on the back of her hand, shaking her head at Felix. "I was young and getting married. I was allowed to get cold feet and panic. Are you saying that you wouldn't, getting married at 21?" She said harshly to him before looking at Steph. "Another assault charge? Nice. At least I can count on you to be consistent." She brushed past both of them, heading to the door to stop and have the last fucking word like a bitch. "Don't worry, I'll keep this to myself even though I was obviously just defending myself since you attacked me first. Wouldn't want to worry Bryan." She said, jerking the door open and walking out, slamming it behind her.-
Covet: "I would have at least had the decency to tell the person to their face." Felix said crossing his arms as he stared her down. " I'll cover for her and let her beat your ass, if this is how you're going to act. I have no problems and lack the moral compass to do the right thing, for people who dont know how to shut the fuck up and leave when they're asked." He said watching her go out the door, he turned around and looked at Steph, "You might want to call Liz immediately. Just to cover your own ass. I'll butter her up if you need."
Alexithymiaa: -The second Aubrey was finally gone, she exhaled deeply, dropping her head. "No one is allowed to tell me I'm being dramatic about how much I hate her. Ever again. Ever." She shook out her right hand, looking down at her red knuckles. "I will. And no, i don't need you to flirt with boobs for brains to gloss the situation over. She doesn't require that much effort and she knows the history."-
Covet: "That's good. I more said it for your sake. I'm willing to do whatever I can to keep you from going down at her hand." Felix said, looking at her hand. "Do you want some ice?"
Alexithymiaa: "I probably would have tried to kill her if you werent standing there, so thanks for that." She took another deep steadying breath before nodding. "Probably. I guess. If my hand swells I wont be able to put pressure on it to use my crutch. And I'm not going back to being immobile."-
Covet: "Come sit down, we'll get some ice on it now, and them bum and ice pack off the hospital later if you need." He told her as he went to the freezer to get her a bag of ice to rest on her hand. "That was a good hit you got in though."
Alexithymiaa: -She limped over to the counter to sit down on a stool, setting her hand down in front of her. "Of course it was a good hit. I was pissed. And I got fatter so it's easier to use my weight. I just hope she goes back to wherever she lives and people question what the fuck happened to her face." She said dryly, taking the ice and setting it on her knuckles.-
Covet: "You didn't get fatter. Don't say it like that, that's not making it sound positive, even if that is kind of positive? I think?" Felix said with a laugh. "They probably will and she will say something about being attacked by a crazy fan or something."
Alexithymiaa: "It's true." She said in monotone since even though she was eating and following his rules, it still didnt feel like a positive to gain weight. One step at a time. "Crazy? Maybe. A fan? Definitely not. And I'm considering taking her up on that offer about talking to her lawyer. Bryan and I wrote her song together and I'm sure he'd back me up in a second if it gave us the chance to screw her over."-
Covet: "Couldn't hurt to look into it right?" Felix said, "Afterall you did it with the song Ash was trying to take credit for." He added totally under the assumption, that's what had happened. He reached over for a Brownie and broke off a little bite for her as he took a bit himself.
Alexithymiaa: -She held up a hand, shaking her head to turn down the brownie. Unless they're special, she's not into it. "I think that was different. I never gave Ash permission to use it. We had given Aubrey verbal permission to use it and she released it years ago. I don't actually know if we'd be able to win this battle, but if it drags her name through the mud, that's good enough for me. It's not about winning, it's just about torturing her."-
Covet: He took the bite for himself, and laughed, looking at Steph, "You know you're kind of hot when you're being all vindictive for good reasons" He told her with a smirk.
Alexithymiaa: -She raised a brow as she watched him eat the brownie, tipping her head to the side. "Oh yeah? And here I thought I'd mellowed over the years." She paused, her eyes flicking to the clock before moving back to Felix. "You know... we've been gone awhile. I don't think an extra half hour or so would be so bad..."-
Covet: "I was just thinking the same thing, Cadence will understand, You were busy beating ass and being the bad ass Aunt you want to be." He told her stepping closer to give her a kiss, before helping her off to the bedroom for things before they headed back to the hospital
