Meh, may as well at least make things fun. Being high class makes later plans easier.

Well, I've been to enough technologically advanced settings in the past before. No reason not to embrace that here. In fact, considering I can come back here for six months after every jump, I could probably refine my own technologies and give some of them to this world to help them advance further.

With all the teaching perks I have at this point I could probably bop someone in the head with a book and it would make them pass the upcoming test. ...actually, I wonder...

High school wasn't anything special. I graduated, but rather than following the expected path, I used all the learning perks I could to absorb how technology works here (being generic, it meant that it's mostly ten-minutes-in-the-future) and elected to start a company based around research and development with donations from anonymous benefactors. Which were in form of money that I pulled out of the aether because precious minerals are still a thing.

The next eight years were spent working on taking the setting from pre-Cowboy Bebop to Firefly. Mars went from having bases to having rain, Venus is in the midst of terraforming but will be a longer term project, and they're starting to tinker with low-grade FTL. I'm going to be interested in seeing what they can do as time goes on.
