  5. Sh: Suwa, where I and Mii-chan are from, was a place covered with greenery and blessed by nature.

  7. M: Utanon worked on the fields there every day.
  8.  
  9. K: And since you did field work, that was a natural form of training. I see.

  11. Y.Y: Utano-chan is pretty strong, after all.
  12.  
  13. Sh: Seeing the crops grow while everyone was helping with the farming was the best.

  15. M: The vegetables Utanon grows are really delicious.

  17. Sh: Suwa was near the biggest lake in all of Nagano. The highlands also had various flowers growing on them.

  19. M: It was the best place for a picnic. You could fish for pond smelt there to.

  21. Ta: Fishing! That sounds great!

  25. Sh: And there was a large-scale festival in Suwa, called Onbashira.

  27. s: I love festivals~! What kind of festival was it~?

  29. Sh: You cut down large fir trees in the mountains and drag them down to the town together with everyone.

  31. A: From the mountains to the town... Downhill?

  33. M: Yeah. And the slope is really steep, too.
  34.  
  35. Sh: Yelling together, covered in mud, getting on the tree trunk and slipping down the mountain...

  37. I: T-that sounds tough... Don't you get hurt?

  39. Sh: Of course you do. But you know, the feeling of having finally accomplished something tough in a large group is just...

  41. M: Excellent, isn't it?

  43. Sh: It's an indescribable feeling of fulfillment, as if the gods were praising you.

  45. N.W: So Suwa was a place where everyone was at peace with nature and in contact with the gods, huh.

  47. Sh: Yes. And so everyone was grateful to the land and lived consuming its blessings.

  49. M: And of course, Suwa's specialty is soba! Right, Utanon?

  51. Sh: Of course, I almost forgot! Suwa's soba is sooo delicious!

  53. M: It's probably the best soba in all of Japan.

  55. Sh: Non, non. The best noodles overall!
  56.  
  57. F:　I can't just ignore what you just said! Udon is the best type of noodles!

  59. N.W: I have to agree with Fuu-san on this.

  61. Sh: Oh my god! What are you talking about?
