Welcome to the world of Call of Cthulu. While there may be thousands of possible ways to complete a task, there *is* a right and wrong way. Complete a difficult task to the best of your abilities, then you may be rewarded with valuable knowledge, wondrous weapons, or ancient artifacts. You all come from many walks of life, academia, military, mafia, or others, but in this session you will add to it the role of investigator! In this One-Off you will build the foundation for a possible 5 part mini series to unravel the mysteries plaguing Manhattan before it is too late.

I like to use a DM practice referred to kindly as the "Lazy DM." This means I'll be asking the party for a lot of the flavor and description. For example, you all start in a bookstore/bar. What's the name of this establishment? I find that having the party name and describe key locations helps them remember it better and engage more fully with the RP.
