Prologue

Couple of decades ago, a witch was using her magic to control a demon that was sealed away. This demon had incredible strength and extremely, powerful, dark magic as the witch had her eye on this demon. She captured the demon using her spells. She had plans that were unknown, but a lot of people have gone missing over the years that she had the demon. However, five grand priest had gathered around and beaten the witch with their powerful magic, although couldn’t destroy her. They sealed the witch and the demon in a forest. This forest had a holy barrier that kept the witch and the demon contained. The forest had been named the Forest of the Forgotten. Ever since then, no one has gone to the forgotten forest until a young boy decided to be brave…

Two young children named Inu and Miyori were playing near the Forgotten Forest. While they played with sticks, pretending to be knights slaying dragons, a sound came from the forest. Inu stopped and look at the direction where the sound originated, “What’s wrong, Inu?” Miyori asked.
“You heard that? It came from the forest,” Inu said as he points toward the forest.
“No I did not hear anything,“ she replied.
Inu slowly walked into the forest and hears the sound again. “Inu, don’t go there! People said this forest is cursed or something like that!” Miyori said as she follows Inu.
“Come on. I want to know what that sound is,” Inu replied. Miyori shutter and started to follow Inu. As they continue through the forest, they see in the distance an abandon house. The house looked old, like it was made in late 60’s, and there was no vegetation growing around the area. Miyori stopped and pulled Inu towards her, “Inu, I don’t think that we should be here,” Miyori said nervously.
Inu looked at Miyori and agreed to stop, but as soon they started to walk, both Inu and Miyori heard a faint sound coming from the abandon house. “Set you free?” Inu mumbled to himself.
Miyori looked at Inu with a confused look, however before she could ask, Inu started to walk toward the abandoned house. Slowly, Inu entered the building and he spotted an old hand mirror. Miyori enters the building too as she softly speaks to Inu, “Are you sure you should touc-“ The hand mirror suddenly shines and the whole room is lightened up. Both Miyori and Inu were spooked, “Miyori, are you ok?” Inu asked
“Yes, I’m fine! How about you?!” Miyori replied worried. As they recover from the shine of the hand mirror, Miyori notices a weird circle around them. She slowly walked backward. “Inu, move…” she whispered.
Before Inu could react, both Miyori and Inu hear a distorted voice coming from the hand mirror. “At last someone I can use!” The circle with weird writing started to glow in an azure color and a strange energy source started to surround Inu.  “From the depths of god’s abandon animals! I will make you the host and will be curse until the end of time!” The distorted voice shouted in a rhyme. As Inu started to float, the energy was forced into his body. Inu’s appearance started to change, growing some dog ears. Then, he grew a dog tail that was colored brown/black, his teeth gained two fangs and his nails started to get sharp. Inu was in pain and panic because of the strange energy entering his body, morphing him while he was conscious. Miyori watched in horror as her friend changed right before her. “Inu, a-are you alright?!” she asked nervously.
“M-Miyori, go get help! Please!” Inu said as he try to stand the pain.
“Ah-ah-ha,” The distorted voice sang. “The blood moon arrived just in time.”
Inu started to transform into a shadow type creature while Miyori tried to see if she could get Inu to snap out of it. “Inu, don’t let her control you! You can beat her control!” she screamed
“You silly girl, your friend is no longer in control!” The distorted voice said confidently.

“Inu!!!!” Miyori screamed. Inu, without control, slashed where Miyori was. Miyori tried to avoid the attack, however, she lost her left side. She died due to blood loss. Inu roared as the blood moon shined over the forest, the holy barrier somehow got destroyed by the howls of the demon. As the holy barrier fades, the demon goes into a rampage near the town where Inu and Miyori lived. Five hundred souls were lost that night... And to this day, the demon is now sealed in Inu’s body. Inu goes to different places to escape from his past…

Inu was only five years old. Miyori died at the age of six…
