Lani is definitely confident. She really owns her strengths and her flaws and doesn't let them get her down. She walks with her head held and revels in the looks and comments she gets, because to her, it means that they are all taking time out of their day to pay attention to her. Lani seemingly does not take life too seriously, at least she tries not to. From an outsiders perspective, she is constantly in a state of relaxation and nothing can bring her mood down. However, this is not always the case; Lani has personal issues that she really struggles with, whether this is issues with her self esteem or the or the illnesses she suffers with. At times, her view of her own self worth can be very negative as she feels that sometimes people only see her as this airheaded bimbo who will never amount to anything. Leilani is definitely not someone you would call text book smart, she struggled in all her academic subjects, failing all but one subject and that was history; there is no surprise here as she absolutely loves history. Sometimes the woman really overexaggerates her lack of intelligence and this is especially in the absence of the "alpha" male type; this is because she knows how to use this to her advantage to really get what she wants. She may give them vacant stares when they explain a "complicated" idea or topic or she may talk about "plastic" things. This always works and by the end of the night, she would have left them with free drinks, free services such as fixing her car or repairing her kitchen sink, all whilst keeping her clothes on. Leilani is a vivacious woman and has a lively and happy energy that easily draws people to her and makes people comfortable around her. This energy is very infectious and people can't help but have a good time when around her. It has always been in her nature to care for others and so when she has made a connection with someone, she cannot help but feel the need to look after and protect them. This comes in many forms but the most common one would be through advice. She always has very helpful advice as she has a unique perspective on life as she has gone through and seen people go through quite a lot. This allows her to give more personal and informed advice.

Leilani was born and raised in a fairly affluent household, meaning she had everything handed to her on a silver platter. Her mother was a forensic medical examiner and her father worked as a plastic surgeon. Lani lived in comfort and she knew that if anything ever went wrong, she was fortunate enough to have something to fall back on.

In school, Leilani struggled, she found difficulty in understanding the simplest of concepts and would never concentrate, she hated this and no matter how many tutors her parents hired for her, it would never work. The only subject that Lani had a knack for was history and that is because she loves the subject, she has always found it interesting and its the main reason why it comes so naturally to her.

Lani was diagnosed with PCOS when she was 17 years old. This was after going months without a period as well as her fluctuating weight and her excessive hair growth. At first, she thought she was pregnant and she was scared because she knew her parents would kill her. However, after taking about four pregnancy tests, she found that she wasn't pregnant and so she and her parents went to the doctors to find out what was wrong. After taking a testosterone blood test, she soon found out that she had the illness. It was also then that she found out the most common symptoms with PCOS and this included infertility. This really broke her heart as she loved kids and it was a dream to have kids of her own and now to find out that she will likely not be able to have kids of her own was heart breaking.

"I'm just the babysitter". She and the parent of one of the kids that she babysits. There was nothing going on at first but when the parent came back from a conference abroad, they started working from home. While their son would be doing his own thing or napping, Lani and the parent would have a chance to talk and a chance to bond. They would easily make each other laugh and they could talk comfortably with each other. Difficult to pursue the relationship because of the age difference and also their son may find it strange. Definitely a secretive relationship for a while.

"You've got style and substance". Someone who really sees Lani for more than just her looks or her body or her perceived bimbo-like nature. Genuinely enjoy each others company. At first Lani struggles to open up to them and be comfortable because she has a history of dating people who were only with her to sleep with her. She was very cautious with them for a while but then she soon realises that they have good intentions and actually care for her.

[Mental & medical disorders/illnesses]
1. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) - has gone a whole year without having a period and her weight fluctuates a whole lot and these are just some of the symptoms. This condition means she struggles to ovulate meaning that it is extremely unlikely that she will be able to have kids.
2. Depression - the medication she takes for her PCOS has many side effects including lowered mood, making her more susceptible to having depression. It is not severe but she definitely sees a notable change in herself.

- She kicks a guy out of her house after he tells her that he is only talking to her because he thinks she is "easy". Rocky happens to see this whole interaction and so they defend her and then they go to see if she is okay. She then goes on to open up to them about how people don't take her seriously since she is not the smartest and that people think because she puts a lot of effort into her looks and fashion, that she has no substance.
