—background:// Park Han Byul was born on February 14 1996 at Busan, South Korea. She also grew up there. Her family consists herself, her parents, and one older brother. Her mother is Chinese, that's why she know Mandarin well. As she was the only daughter in the family, she used to has some problem to socializing with girls. She will bewildered when she with people her like or love.  She always follows her older brother play basketball, soccer and more. That's why she's very skilled in those games. Her father always taught her how to be a caring among people around her and her mother always teach her how to be a good wife. Her father work as a barista and own a cafe in Busan while her mother work as a florist. Her older brother named Park Han Moon and he is still studying.

// When she in middle school, her parents sent her to martial art class. She has a black-belt in taekwando. She start interested with music when she is 15 years old. Her father bought a record and play it in their house. When Han Byul listened to the music, she fall in love with it. She really love the melody and really like the lyrics. She determined that she want to compose her own song and show it to the whole world. She start attending music class and learn how to play guitar and piano. She entered a singing competition held by her school. She sang Kelly Clarkson's Because of you and won first place.

// When she heard that AJS Entertainment held an audition to take a new trainee, she immediately told her parents that she wanted to join that audition. At first her parents didn't allowed her but when they see her interest in singing and music, they agreed. In September 14 2012, she tried her luck by went to the audition. She sang When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne. She also dance to 2ne1's Fire. Luckily she passed and accepted to be a trainee at the entertainment. She been trained for 4 years when the company announced that they want to debut a girl-group from their company. Han Byul has chosen to debut with the group because of her trainee experience and her singing ability. The group named Cotton Candy and consists 12 others trainee. The journey of Han Byul become an idol start then.
