  1. At its core, the combat system is very simple. Everyone gets a two actions per round. Actions can be spent to use an ability or move 1 space on the grid map, which will be done through Google Sheets. Turn order is done based on an Initiative value baked into the characters. Ties go in the players’ favor.

  3. The ‘basic’ character has the following stats:
  4. HP: 200
  5. Movement: 1 space per action
  6. Initiative: 3
  7. 4 active ability slots
  8. 1 passive ability slot
  9. 1 Noble Phantasm slot
  10. 12 character enhancement points.

  12. Characters can fill all their slots with E ranked abilities and an E ranked noble phantasm for free. One slot must contain a weapon, which starts with a base damage of 30 to a single target per use.
  13. Character enhancement points can be spent on the following things at a rate of 1 point per bonus:
  14. +50 HP
  15. 50 HP converted to armor, which grants DR 10/- until depleted. You must always have some normal HP.
  16. 50 HP converted to shields, which will regenerate at a rate of ¼ the character’s MHP per round in any round that the character is not damaged. You must always have some normal HP.
  17. +10 damage for any ability
  18. +10 healing to a single target for any ability
  19. +1 square of movement for any ability, to a maximum of 4.
  20. -1 rounds of cooldown for any ability. Cooldowns cannot be reduced below 2 rounds in this way.
  21. Improve your Initiative by 1
  22. Improve an ability’s special properties
  23. Improve a Noble Phantasm. These are outside the normal damage and effect structure. However, you cannot improve a Noble Phantasm above D rank without knowing its True Name and the True Name of your Heroic Spirit.

  25. By sacrificing 1 initiative or 50 HP or 10 damage from their weapon, characters can claim an extra point to spend. Up to 2 initiative, 10 damage, and 50 HP can be sacrificed in this way.

  27. Each time a Noble Phantasm or ability is improved, its rank increases from E to E+ to D and so on, to a maximum rank of A. This means that abilities can be improved up to 8 times each. A single ability, or your Noble Phantasm, may be improved beyond that to EX rank.

  29. Each character may choose a Class to specialize in, giving them improved upgrade options.
  30. ASSAULT characters get +20 damage for any ability when they upgrade its damage instead of +10. They may also take a special upgrade once, which for 2 character enhancement points will improve their base movement speed to 2 spaces per action.
  31. TANK characters get +100 HP when they upgrade their HP, and can convert HP to shields or armor in 100 HP increments instead of 50.
  32. SUPPORT characters get +20 healing for any ability when they upgrade its healing instead of +10. They may also take a special upgrade once, which for 2 character enhancement points will give them a second passive ability slot, which is filled for free by an E ranked passive.
