  1. [chapter 5]
  2. What the hell is this? What's happening? Dark power is starting to surface in the world, that's what's happening. Such a lust for power seduced a group of girls, and turned them into witches. They're not the pointy-nosed, green and bumpy-skinned witches that we all know. They're regular human beings with dark intentions, who will plunge the world into darkness, and Rudgar is in the middle of all of it.
  3.
  4. While Rudgar was passed out, the witches captured more people, and turned them into slaves and/or possessed them with demons. They were growing an army, and they were growing stronger. The world is going to plunge into a new dark age; one of true darkness. Hell is being brought to Earth, and the hardships that people face on Earth now will be dwarfed compared to whats going to happen to humanity.
  5.
  6. Meanwhile, in Rudgar's mind, the demon inside him is ravaging around and tainting his morals and beliefs. The demon got as deep as the soul and attempted to attack it, but Rudgar pushed the demon away with the cross necklace that he held ever so desperately. As Rudgar's spirit flashed the cross necklace in front of the demon, the demon screamed in pain and backed away. Rudgar learned to control this demon, he knew its weakness. The holy symbol was the bane of all evil, and Rudgar realized it soon enough to not succumb to the demon's control.
  7.
  8. Rudgar woke up, with deep and burning anger. Harnessing the power of his demon, he had broken out of the iron chains that bondage'd him. Alice woke up from the breaking of the iron chains, as she was sleeping next to Rudgar. She backed away with horror on her face, and she was shaking with utmost fear. He punched Alice directly in the face, and Alice flew into the wall from the sheer power of his demonic punch.
  9.
  10. She slid down the wall as Rudgar walked to her and picked her up by the neck. He pierced into her soul with his demonic stare, and ravaged her mind with horrific thoughts. This was the sign that Rudgar was possessed by a mind demon, the kind of demon that is expert in manipulating the mind. Rudgar released his grip, and Alice dropped onto the ground with a thud. She was shaking from trauma.
  11.
  12. Rudgar broke out of the basement and escaped the house. He was looking right and left, trying to find a place to go. He couldn't go to his house, the witches would find him there and capture him again. Nor could he go west, the witches are going west to spread their dark conquest. All Rudgar could do was escape farther east, so he found his car and drove eastward. He did not want a fate where he was under the mercy of darkness and fear. He did not want to live that life. The only way for him to go now, is through.
  13.
  14. He arrived at a military base near the beaches of Massachusetts. He went to the entrance of the base and found 2 guards there. Fortunately the base wasn't taken over by demons yet, so he approached the guards and spoke to them.
  15.
  16. "Who are you?" Guard 1 asked.
  17. "I am the new recruit." Rudgar said.
  18. "We haven't been notified of any new recruits." Guard 2 said. "You're going to have to leave."
  19. Rudgar now had no choice, he resorted to hypnotizing the guards through his stare.
  20. "Try to remember me." Rudgar said.
  21. Both the guards 'remembered' him as the new recruit.
  22. "Pardon me, recruit." Guard 1 said, as he let Rudgar in and showed him to a room.
  23.
  24. Rudgar grew tired from all of the stress and trauma that happened to him. He laid on the bed, thinking of Lucy, and what to do next.
  25.
  26. [chapter 6]
  27. Rudgar woke up from muffled screams of soldiers out in the hallways. What could it be? Could the witches be after him now? Splatters of blood were heard moments later after the distant cries of the men in the base. Out of panicking, he searched around the room for weapons. He found brass knuckles, and put them on his right hand.
  28.
  29. He slowly opened the door, and scanned the hallway. He didn't see any carnage or people around his door, or the hallway he was in. He then heard the door at the end of the hallway burst open, and zombified soldiers rushed through. Rudgar's only choice was to run off to another room, one with more weapons. After he lost the zombie men on his trail, he arrived at the weaponry room. He entered inside and turned on the light.
  30.
  31. He saw a shotgun with lots of ammo. He was staring at the shotgun, thinking if fighting is a good idea. He closed the door behind him and locked it. He walked over to the shotgun and picked it up, and saw his reflection from the metal barrel.
  32.
  33. "Am I going to die? Will I die fighting to survive?" he asked himself. Shortly after, he heard loud banging on the door behind him. They were closing in on him, no escape. He then realized that he can't be civil anymore. Society was breaking down in front of his eyes, and no one could be protected, not even him.
  34.
  35. At that moment, his mentality changed. He lost Lucy, his house, and everyone he knew. They were all gone like that, and all he had was himself. He turned into the killing machine he never thought he was, and put on a belt of shotgun shells over his shoulder, and loaded the shotgun.
  36.
  37. The zombie men busted open the door, and all the zombie men in front of the door were blown to pieces from the shotgun bursts that came from Rudgar. Rudgar ran out of the room into the hallway, and he turned to the end of the hall and saw more zombie men. The zombie men got their pistols out and started firing at Rudgar. Rudgar took cover quickly, and loaded the shotgun again. When the zombie men came close to his cover, he came out of cover and blew them all to chunks with his shotgun.
  38.
  39. Rudgar started kicking down doors, shooting down every last zombie raiding the place. He had his sights set on the exit, and was doing whatever he could to get there. Every zombie man that got in his way was full of holes moments after. He started stealing all the ammo that the zombie men had on them, and stole a pistol to use the ammo. He became a force to be reckoned with in the base, and wiped out everything that moved. He then found the exit and walked out of the base, never looking back.
  40.
  41. He found a military jeep nearby the base and broke into it. He started it up and put his weapons and ammo in the back. He turned on the radio and drove toward the nearby shipping port. He's got no business in North America anymore.
  42.
  43. [chapter 7]
  44. Alice had woken up on Sarah's bed, alone. She was covered by white sheets that kept her warm from the cold look that Rudgar gave her. She didn't sit up or do anything, she just stared at the ceiling. Sarah walked in, looking down at alice from the doorway. Sarah pitied Alice greatly for her condition. Not only was Sarah full of pity, she was full of anger. How dare Rudgar attack her best friend like that, her best friend that loved him so much, was hurt by him. She could never forgive him.
  45.
  46. Alice turned her head to Sarah.
  47. "Sarah…" Alice mumbled.
  48. "I'm going to kill him." Sarah said with a rash tone. "He's going to pay."
  49. "No." Alice replied, bluntly back to Sarah. "Don't you ever do it."
  50. "Why? He's hurt you already." Sarah said, with a tone of contempt. "He's a real danger now…"
  51.
  52. "All he did was mess with my mind…" Alice mumbled. "He's not that dangerous."
  53. "Yes he is, he is killing the goons we sent after him." Sarah replied. "He's transformed. He's not the kind and loving Rudgar you once knew anymore, Alice."
  54. Alice looked away from Sarah and shook her head.
  55.
  56. "No… it's just his demon." she said to Sarah. "I just need to care for him while he suffers from the demon. My punishment will make him love me."
  57. Sarah turned away from Alice, pouting.
  58. "So, what do you suggest we do?" she asked Alice. "There's not a lot we can do."
  59. "Keep trying to bring him back to me." Alice replied. "Don't harm him too much."
  60. Sarah nodded and walked out of the room. She bumped into another witch.
  61.
  62. "Sarah…" the witch said. "I've got a present for you."
  63. "What are you up to this time, Mary?" Sarah asked.
  64. "I've got a wonderful boy that would make an excellent servant for you." Mary replied.
  65.
  66. Mary snapped her fingers, and a couple zombie men were carrying a slim, teenage boy, with blonde hair and brown eyes. The zombie men let him go as he landed on the floor, face first. As the zombie men walked away, the boy slowly got up with a groan. Mary looked at him with a sinister laugh, covering her mouth.
  67.
  68. "How cute." Mary commented. "What's your name?"
  69. "Jason." he replied. "My name's Jason."
  70. Mary looked at Sarah and smiled before she turned around and walked off.
  71.
  72. Jason had noticed Sarah's long, white hair, but didn't say a word. He was busy looking in her amber eyes. Sarah didn't say anything either, she was lost in his eyes as well. For a minute, neither of the two said anything, and there was complete silence. Jason blinked, and Sarah looked away, and started biting her fingers.
  73.
  74. "W…Whats your name?" Jason asked Sarah.
  75. "Just call me Mistress." Sarah replied. "Thats all you need to know. Say it with respect."
  76. Jason nodded anxiously.
  77.
  78. Meanwhile, Mary was in the basement, meditating. She was watching Rudgar. She noticed that Rudgar was planning on leaving North America. She let out a smile as she was meditating. It's game on, she's going to beat Rudgar to the punch. She stopped meditating and opened her eyes.
  79.
  80. "You're not escaping us, Rudgar." she said to herself.
  81.
  82. [chapter 8]
  83. Rudgar was sailing on a boat. He was watching the horizon, waiting to see the continent on the other side. Europe is his only hope now. He thought of Lucy, he remembered her sweet personality, and her beautiful face. He shed a tear and wiped it off slowly. He turned on the engine on the back of the boat, and laid down. The humming of the machine became white noise to him, and he fell asleep.
  84.
  85. He opened his eyes and found himself in the dark space once again. His mirror image faded in and walked to him.
  86. "She's gone, Rudgar." his mirror image said. "You know we can't do anything about her."
  87. Rudgar didn't say anything, he just looked at his feet.
  88. "We still have Alice." his mirror image said. "At least she cares about you deeply."
  89. "I can't ever love Alice." Rudgar said. "Not after what she did to Lucy."
  90. "You think you can escape her for long?" his mirror image asked. "Its only a matter of time before you two meet again."
  91.
  92. Rudgar woke up to the sudden noise of demons in the sky. They flew over him, but they didn't notice him or attack him. They were heading to where he was going. They were faster than the boat Rudgar was in. There is no way he could beat them to the shores of England. He looked at his shotgun for a moment and sighed, before going back to sleep.
  93.
  94. This time, his dream wasn't like before. His dream was sitting in a dark room, with a white table. There was a woman on the other side of the table. Rudgar took a good look at her. It was Mary, one of the witches chasing Rudgar. It seemed like she has already reached him, but she hadn't captured him like she was supposed to.
  95.
  96. "It's so nice to meet you." Mary said, twirling her red hair. "So, whats the deal? Where are you going?"
  97. Rudgar said nothing, all he did was stare at Mary's deep blue eyes.
  98. "Better yet, why are you leaving?" Mary asked, smiling smugly.
  99. "I don't want to be a part of what you guys are doing." he replied. "I want to live in peace."
  100. "Well that's a shame." she yawned. "You can't live in peace now."
  101.
  102. "Why?" he asked. "What do you want?"
  103. "We want you." she replied. "Thats all we want."
  104. "Anything else you want?" he asked.
  105. Mary giggled for a moment.
  106. "I'm sorry, but no." she answered. "Why are you so repulsed by us?"
  107. "I'm not exactly butt-buddies with Satan." he said with a sarcastic tone. "It's not my cup of tea."
  108.
  109. "You're afraid of Alice, aren't you?" she asked. "Thats the real reason, isn't it?"
  110. "It's certainly one of them." he answered. "I don't exactly feel safe around her."
  111. "Remember, Rudgar." she said sharply. "We could have killed you, but Alice wants you alive."
  112. "How generous of her." he remarked.
  113. "Hey, it could be worse." she noted.
  114. "Things are going pretty bad for me already." he groaned. "Its a dystopia for me."
  115. "Trust me." she asserted. "We can do much worse than that."
  116. He went silent. He just looked at the table.
  117. "You belong to us." she insisted. "Alice needs you by her side."
  118.
  119. He didn't want to argue. If he did, he would've gave her second thoughts.
  120. "Thanks for speaking with me." he said abruptly. "I appreciate it."
  121. Mary nodded.
  122. "We'll met again." she stated. "I know we will."
  123. The last thing he saw in the dream was her devious smile, and then he woke up. He was on the shores of Wales.
