- [02:37] Led into we'll pretend to be a very stable and sterile environment. She didn't expect several people to follow her. Nerves threaten to waver and rise up.
- "Can you sit down for me?"
- Guinevere moves to the cabinets to prepare a remedy. While it's impossible for Wren to be able to speak clearly for the months and weeks to come, she'll try to combine a few things to assist in the ease of speech.
- "Remove your cloak and shirt so it's easier for me to treat your burns." Taking a measuring cup, she begins gathering a few items from the cabinet.
- Herbal remedies take her attention as of late so to begin, she starts with filling the cup a quarter way with water. Manicured digits hover above still, sterile water with a light glow. Mana imbues itself with the water for an added quality that can't quite be found elsewhere. Oft do her waters have a more rejuvenate property. Yet this is minor.
- Still water glows lightly before she adds a bit of baking soda and herbal leaves- Such as peppermint and chamomile. "What happened to you?" Water spirals into itself at her will to mix the contents to set.
- While it does that, she approaches Wren. One at a time. Guinevere inhales.. Is everyone just looking at her work? Hopefully they're all more concerned about her.
- Whenever Wren is ready, she'll begin cleaning the burn wounds.

- [02:40] Perhaps as a pseudo assistant, the Pelleaux would make soft haste to stand by Guinevere.
- Though he was no medic, he could easily not just provide assistance, but information over the fact as well.
- To save Wren the need to strain her voice, perhaps?
- "An occultist left a curse on her throat. Apparently it makes it hard to talk for her," he reveals with the occasional gesture to the throat. "I tried to soothe the pain with holy magic and gave her a dosage of lax essence, so maybe that's a good enough start before getting ahead?"
- He doesn't explicitly say it, yet it would be clear that Orain was here to help the process. Holy was the foil of occultism after all.
- (Orain ven Pelleaux)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:43] Yuna stands by idly as she watches from the sidelines. She didn't know what to do to help. She didn't even know why she bothered to follow.
- "If you need me to run and grab something for you, I can do that..." She said sheepishly.
- (Yuna Mei)

- [02:56] Once brought to that room, there's no time spent waiting around. The moment she's presented that chair, she's quick to fall into it with a quiet huff that comes out more like a wheeze. She'd been on her feet all day, and although her throat burned, she took for granted what it meant to finally take a breather.
- Orain had her covered when it came to explaining what happened, so-? With a clasp of her cloak's button, she undoes it and casts it aside before pulling her shirt above her head.
- All she cared about was getting her voice back.
- The burns were scattered across her body and in the mix were even more injuries- welts and bruises from what looked to be an earlier injury. Seemed she'd been busy that day- and quite unfortunate, to boot.
- "Occultist-... Shadowmire." She confirms with a nod. "Bridge-... to Osrona." A location was the best she could muster, because after that? She dared to stop straining her voice.
- Whatever help Orain offered did well enough to give her some semblance of a voice back, at the very least.
- (Wren)

- [03:03] Yuna Mei asks, "Did a fae do this..?"
- [03:03] Caster says, "Likely not. "
- [03:04] Caster says, "Xian doesn't attack people without reason. Plus she uses frost and aero magic."
- [03:04] Leonard Mathis says, "Fae's don't attack unless provoked or threatened."
- [03:04] Leonard Mathis says, "Cryomancy and Aeromancy, Caster."
- [03:05] Caster asks, "???"
- [03:06] Leonard Mathis says, "Nevermind..."
- [03:08] Yuna Mei says, "I didn't know if Xian was the only fae or not. She warned me about the Shadowmire though and warned me of her deals as well. So she seems nice..."
- [03:08] Caster says, "Xian is...Pretty diplomatic."
- [03:18] An occultist... Guinevere shivers. Unsettling, truly. Yet she works nonetheless. What the others can do? She's uncertain. She hadn't planned for a crowd or even to assist in the slightest.
- With skin more exposed she can work at the Kitsune's burns. "I'm really sorry that happened to you. I'll try to work as fast as I can so you can rest."
- Slightly chilled hands press against the girl's arm. As it rises, a light veil of water conjures and moves along her warm skin.
- "Was it scary?" She asks in the midst of cleaning wounds that also required her attention. Unlike most people in the academy, she didn't search for danger or become unlucky enough for it to find her.
- Petite hands move along her torso. It's a slow, meticulous process. "I'm really glad you're okay." Her head lifts to look at Wren with a smile before hands part.
- The mixture should be done now.
- Inhaling lightly, Guinevere turns to the table and picks up the cup, herbs float about. "Drink this and chew on the leaves. Slowly down." It'll be a strange mixture of bitter with tinges of sweet. "I'll prepare more for you to take daily moving forward."
- Soothing the soreness of her throat. "Oh!" Actually, she has the chance to try something new. "I'll do this, too. Alongside the mixture, I'll produce a few crystals for you to take weekly." A prescription in short.
- With the cup handled over, Guinevere starts the production of those crystals. For now, she moves at a slow pace for Wren to keep her bearings together.
- (Guinevere Falstaff)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [03:27] "Thought-... the bridge would be fine," she rasps, seeing now that it wasn't. All she wanted to do was look for a fairy powder or two- or even a cheap potion to pass off to her friend before he went off on that up and coming dangerous mission.
- And to think it was her nearly needing that potion in the end.
- Quiet as could be, she nods along with Guinevere's words- especially the part about it being scary. "Geist watches over me. If not for that, then-..." Her thousand yard stare flitters a little, making it obvious that without her stars aid, there'd have been no chance for her to have even put up a fight to begin with.
- "At least we know they're-... not opposed to hurting kids or the blind." She jests, only to immediately cough thereafter. She probably shouldn't have been talking as much as she was, but what was a little dark humor to try and make herself feel better?
- Nevertheless, once that tea's handed over to her, she lifts her palms and lets Guinevere guide the cup to her before taking that first sip. A few sips follow the first, and after a moment's pause?
- She lets out a quiet sigh that's just a tad bit raspy than the rest. Progress!
- "One was-... an Ogre. I know that." She manages, but not without needing to clear her throat after. "The one I fought was-... a mutant." Then? She remembers something. Reaching over for her cloak, she hefts it up just to fish something out of it.
- A pipe, by the looks of it- probably filled with soothe reed or something another.
- "He-... gave me this. Said it'd help." Likely nothing more than a joke to really rub the salt into her wounds.
- (Wren)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [03:28] Caster says, "...Hm. I know that mutant."
- [03:40] A snort from Caster to alert the others that he was still very much alive. The golden-winged drakanite rose from his chair and strode over to Guin, giving her an amiable nod -- though a smile doesn't grace his features (as it is not want to do).
- But if there's any other indication of his gratitude, it'd be those olive eyes gently speaking in lieu of words.
- "You did well," he addressed Wren. "But this does mean I have to do my job as House Rep..." A series of snap, crackles, and pops arise from his spine. "...And make sure this doesn't happen again.
- We'll train, basically. A boot camp.
- And Orain, I'm going to need you and Elise for something later -- since you're a holy magic practitioner."
- (Caster)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [03:58] "Take your time." She urges Wren to not push herself. Listening, she starts the true treatment to the ailment. Producing crystals taxes her greatly yet she prepares to do so in the midst of the explanation on what's occurred.
- Starting first with naught but mana, she attempts to find the proper frequency for a hue colored a bright emerald. Crackling sounds as mana collides with itself and hardens. "Travel in groups. It's too dangerous to leave alone." A mutant and an ogre... Terrifying..
- She gives the produced reed a glance. "Soothing Reed is a rather relaxing herb. The body relaxes and your sense of pain numbs in a way."
- "Yet- You've already experienced the pain. It likely won't assist too much." In short, it's much better to be under the influence to say. For medical usage, she condones it. Recreational?
- Mhh!!
- Baking soda adds to her crystalizing mana, and snipped peppermint herbs for flavor. While it sets, she searches for a box.
- Almost done.
- "It'll be like candy. I'll break these into several pieces and you'll want to chew and swallow these once a week until you feel better." On that did the crystalline structure shatter into a dozen inch thick emerald pieces.
- All gather into the box and it shuts. "Here you go, Wren. I believe it'll have a minty taste. It'll also assist along with being good."
- Guinevere exhales. "I'm sorry I can't do more for you."
- (Guinevere Falstaff)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [03:59] From behind, Orain remains present within the area. Though his aid mostly comes through merely the soothing presence that his own holy energies can muster and offer, it was still honest work in providing a calming situation that paired well with the reassuring words Guinevere parted with.
- Despite his minimal involvement in the process, he still keenly watched the medic work. Teal hues peering before the situation at hand as the group begins to deduce the actual identity of the perpetrator.
- As Wren's wellbeing is at least somewhat assured, a sigh of relief escapes Orain's lips. Though he did his best in what he knew in medicine, there were still a few things that needed some ironing out.
- Though the Pelleaux remains silent for that portion of the discussion, he does pipe back up again once his name is called out.
- "Y'need me?" He asks, looking over Caster as his form shifts to face him. "Just lemme know where and when and I got you covered buddy." With a budding thumbs up, his assistance would be promised.
- (Orain ven Pelleaux)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [04:08] Just as she imagined. That pipe was nothing more than a joke. After all, he clearly didn't need it after stealing most of her voice for his own...
- At Caster's approach, Wren turns in her seat a little, her head canting towards the Drakanite. "Once-... Once this is healed," she rasps. "I wouldn't mind. There's a friend I want to help. Theo. With-... Shadowmire." Speaking of which, just where had that Teraphim gone? He'd been out and about all day.
- Something to ask later, but for now?
- The offered box of crystals are taken and given a curious lookover. "Thank you, Guin. I appreciate it. I thought myself safe going to that bridge, but-..." Again, she pauses to clear her throat.
- "I know now." She'd take Theodas with her if she ever needed to go shopping. Otherwise? She wasn't going to go back out until Caster put her through that aforementioned boot camp.
- "But-... you've done more than enough, trust me." A reassuring smile is offered to Guin- or at least it's offered in her general direction. "So long as-... I can talk. A little." It pained her even still, and having talked far too much for her own good, she falls to silence to instead focus on putting her shirt and cloak back on.
