  1. It happened so suddenly that nobody was expecting it. Those from another world invaded our world and made it their own within a few months. Most of the human population was disposed of, while the remaining were put to work, only being paid very minimum at the end of each week, allowing them to buy the very small rations they were allowed in the marketplace, which was all automatic and monitored closely. The workers in the lower class were each given their own small houses, most of which are run-down, and lived within close quarters to each other in the outskirts of the city. While the ones that were looked upon greatly and in the upper class, were given the houses in the higher districts. Despite the terrible conditions, some of the people tried to make the best out of the situation as some even took on other, smaller jobs, such as helping the wealthy with serving at their parties. Though these were hard for some to get as they hardly accepted the poorest of the poor, making life harder on them.

  3. One man, by the name of Joseph, was one of those that was forced to work long hours in the factory. Losing his wife a few years prior after the invasion, he took care of their daughter, Willow. Willow, like the rest of the children that remained, was allowed an easier life, but if the parents were suffering, they could sell off their children. Willow was almost five years old and lately had come down with an unusual sickness, which only worried him, as if anybody found out, then he would never see his Willow again.

  5. Turning to raiding at the dark of night, Joseph raided houses and any other building he could find outside the city’s limits each night, desperate to find her medicine to cure her sickness as he snuck out of the large city’s walls. This was considered highly illegal, as well as quite the risk if he was to be caught, but it was worth the risk for him as his Willow was all he had left that he cared about.

  7. But this particular night, he raids the cabinets of what used to be a pharmacy, unaware that he is being watched by a figure in the distance. Wearing all black, only her piercing, sapphire blue eyes show through the almost shawl she wears around her face, even concealing her long, dark blonde hair so that one might think she is a boy. Letting off a short whistle, some other people in all black back off as she approaches the pharmacy quietly, watching the man with her careful eyes as she quietly opens the door. Closing it after her, she slowly approaches him as she doesn’t make a single sound, watching him carefully as she wonders what he is doing here.

  12. Joseph: A kind young man, who only wants the best for his Willow after loosing his wife a few years prior. He is close to his neighbors, like everyone else in the poorer communities, as they have kept his secret, risking their lives. There have been a few rumors going around about a resistance, who hopes to take down the other worldly (they look just like humans, unless they decide not to, but there is some signs), but they are only stories that are spoken in hushed whispers during the long days at the factories.
  13.
  14. Isabella: Also known as Blue to most, Isabella is one of the leaders of the resistance group, but not much is known about her as most don’t even know her real name. Trained in hand-to-hand combat, amongst other things, she keeps mainly to herself when she can.
